I guess I am a total jerk, but according to The New York Times, I should be deeply concerned that an illegal alien from Jamaica who came here as an adult, was convicted of kidnapping and who spent most of his time in the United States, was deported back to his home country. (Snip) Apparently, the new standard for being deported is...well, NOBODY should ever get deported. If you think different, then you are a Nazi, or at least Nazi-adjacent. As is often the case, the headline tells the people who are inclined to have their opinions assigned to them by The New York Times

I'm not "grappling" with anything!! If you are here illegally, especially if you are a criminal alien, you need to leave. Immediately. Full stop. End of discussion.

David Hogg, the name synonymous with gun control theatrics, now holds a position of power as vice chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC). But does he have any idea what he's doing? His latest move suggests that the answer is a resounding "no." Instead of building the party, Hogg decided to launch a $20 million campaign to primary sitting Democrats in blue districts. You read that right. This dumb kid got himself elected as vice chair and now wants to spend millions to start a civil war within his own party.“We don't want to pick unnecessary fights, but we're willing to do that if our approval rating continues

Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) drew the ire of victims of illegal immigrant crime everywhere on Thursday when he met with illegal immigrant and suspected MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia at the CECOT maximum security prison in El Salvador. Abrego Garcia had been living in Van Hollen’s home state of Maryland. Despite being in the country illegally, the country’s vast left-wing political machine has tried to advance the incorrect narrative that Abrego Garcia was a “legal resident” of the state. This is not true. Nevertheless, the senator claimed he was worried about Abrego Garcia’s well-being. Yet, that same kind of concern didn’t exist when it came to holding

When the House passed the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act on April 10 it took a good first step toward the restoration of election integrity, assuming the Senate also passes it and President Trump signs it into law before the 2026 midterms. Nonetheless, until Congress imposes major reforms on the U.S. Census Bureau and its hopelessly Byzantine methods of gathering data for the constitutionally mandated census, it can’t be relied upon to produce accurate results. In the era of Big Data this bureaucracy’s aging systems and institutional inertia all but guarantee the kind of inefficiency and corruption that DOGE

In the tariff war between China and the United States, a lot of chatter in the Pravda Media is about Xi Jinping's defiance, his outreach to European countries and other less important but collectively significant developing countries, and his retaliatory moves against America. They make it sound like China has a lot of cards to play in the trade war with America.(Snip)Collectively, these stories tell a tale: Donald Trump may have bitten off more than he can chew in his economic war with China. Trump's moves will hollow out the American middle class! Europe will choose China over the United States! We are doomed!

Houseguests and fish begin to smell after three days, as the saying goes. But ex-presidents who stay in Washington, D.C., reek almost immediately. In the history of the republic, former presidents have had the decency to get out of town rather than loom over their successor. The two exceptions appear to be Woodrow Wilson and Barack Obama. Wilson, however, has the excuse that he was practically bedridden and expired within three years. Obama has no excuse at all.

I’m telling you, something isn’t adding up. As much as I’d love to forget all about the Obamas, even as their brand is collapsing, the media still hangs on their every word. Concerning the rumors that Barack and Michelle are divorcing, they were practically crawling over each other to declare that all is well with this faux royal family after Michelle’s appearance on the “Work in Progress” podcast with Sophia Bush.Look, I know you don’t care about the Obamas. I don’t care about the Obamas, either, but there is definitely something weird about this story. Now, the media narrative is that Michelle explicitly denied the rumors that she and

The general consensus among informed political analysts is that the Republicans emerged from last November’s election in control of the White House and Congress due to the border crisis and persistent inflation. The Trump administration curtailed the influx of illegal immigrants with remarkable speed and the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for March suggests that inflation is also returning to the modest levels that prevailed throughout President Trump’s first term. The CPI declined by .01 percent last month, a year-over-year rate of 2.4 percent, while core inflation sank to a four-year low.

What looked like the Green Movement’s unstoppable momentum has stalled out recently, as Americans rethink the costs of some of the more draconian proposals to rid the world of industrial carbon dioxide. As skepticism grows, the movement to slash CO2 at all costs also may be nearing an end, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. Americans have become increasingly wary of the “net zero” and other modern-day green movements after so many of their doom-filled prophecies of imminent environmental disaster failed to come true.

The moment then-candidate Donald Trump came down that escalator ten years ago to announce his presidential campaign and launch the America First movement, elites and Washington insiders foolishly underestimated him. But working people all over the country—like my dad, a factory worker from Columbia City, Indiana—understood what those elites didn't. They knew, for the first time in decades, they had a candidate who was going to genuinely fight for them. President Trump knew that the American working class had been abandoned, and the issues they care about tossed aside, in favor of pursuing forever wars and globalist trade policy. While the elites were busy tripping over themselves to dismiss his campaign,

Big media and big finance insisted the financial sky was falling this week, but with President Donald Trump, you never know exactly where you are in any deal-making process. Weighing in too soon can make you look stupid. On Wednesday, the deal-maker in chief announced a 90-day pause on sky-high tariffs directed at 75 nations which did not retaliate against his measures and have asked the administration for a reprieve and time to negotiate.Democrats, and a fair number of free-marketeer conservatives to boot, celebrated Trump "caving" to the pressure of the financial markets. But when the smoke settled, it was clear that, far from

I recently stood on the floor of the Ohio House of Representatives and delivered a speech in support of Senate Bill 1. This legislation would strengthen Ohio’s higher education system by eliminating diversity, equity, and inclusion mandates from our college campuses. As a proud black man and a Republican legislator, my remarks quickly gained traction, racking up millions of views and comments on social media. Predictably, the loudest backlash came from white liberals.

Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL) is calling for an “uprising” in the streets of the United States until President Donald Trump stops his agenda of increased interior immigration enforcement. This week, Wilson joined other House Democrats in touring the Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Krome Detention Center, which holds criminal illegal aliens while they await their deportations from the U.S. Following the tour, Wilson held a press conference where she told voters to call the offices of congressional Republicans and “threaten” them. She also called for an “uprising” in the streets until the Trump administration stops arresting and deporting illegal aliens.

The state of Washington, which does not officially recognize Easter or Yom Kippur as state holidays, became the first state in the nation to recognize the two Islamic holidays of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha as unpaid state-recognized holidays when Democrat Governor Bob Ferguson signed the legislation into law this month. “Senate Bill 5106, sponsored by Sen. Osman Salahuddin (D-Redmond) sponsored the companion bill,” Ferguson’s website stated. “The new law does not establish Eid holidays as paid holidays, but rather adds them to the state’s list of recognized observances,

Is Harvard doing the right thing? Schumer said, “Yes. In fact, today, a group of Jewish senators and myself sent a letter to the administration telling them that, look, going against anti-semitism is important, but what they’ve done goes way beyond that.

At a recent town hall in Georgia, Sen. The exchange took place during a tense back-and-forth with an unhinged Karen who demanded that Ossoff do more to remove Trump from office. The woman, sounding like she was auditioning to be a co-host of "The View," railed against what she called “authoritative rule” and demanded drastic action. “I will not live in an authoritative country, and neither will any of these people,” she shouted. “He needs to be impeached. Washington— Organizers and the Kennedy Center have canceled a week’s worth of events celebrating LGBTQ+ rights for this summer’s World Pride festival in Washington, D.C., amid a shift in priorities and the ousting of leadership at one of the nation’s premier cultural institutions. Multiple artists and producers involved in the center’s Tapestry of Pride schedule, which had been planned for June 5 to 8, told The Associated Press that their events had been quietly canceled or moved to other venues. And in the wake of the cancellations, Washington’s Capital Pride Alliance has disassociated itself from the Kennedy Center.
