DNC Races to Rein in David Hogg

Original Article

It’s a safe bet that the Democratic National Committee is not so pleased with Vice Chair David Hogg promising to hurl “asleep-at-the-wheel Democrats” into Thunderdome come 2026. Mr. Hogg appeared on the Sunday Talk Show circuit, where he promised to declare war within his party against those he feels are essentially not with the program, whatever that is. It’s all kinds of crazy at the DNC, but for now, the leadership is trying to rein in this chaotic element by expanding the committee’s non-endorsement policy (via NOTUS):

Hogg, an unattractive, ignorant, fanatical, intransigent leftist totalitarian, should redouble his efforts, join up with his ideological soulmates in the Squad, turn up the volume, and split the Democrat Party down the middle into "Left" and "Far Left" branches that won't cooperate, and will fight each other to the death. Divide and conquer. Demand purity.

They voted for a young, mouthy, stupid, firebrand and that's what they got. Now they want to shut him down? The dems are fatally divided on who they are and how they should act. The Hoggish part of the party is loud and active, incredibly stupid when it comes to governance, and only about half the party. The other, more "kinda mature" half of the party is repulsed by the Hoggs and their behavior and recognize that they have to work within the structure of government, even though they have become VERY bad at it, a la the Bidet administration. The mature part of the party has only been "successful" because of the support of the media and Deep State, which now lie in ruins; the levers of power they used mostly reduced to rubble, their financial capabilities minimized. Therefore, the mature part of the party has nothing to bring to the table except whining about Trump. In the face of Trump's obvious successes, they sound pathetic. Does either part of this party seem appealing? Is it likely that both parts can come together in any meaningful and productive way? In the face of the mess that the dem party has become, what can dem voters do? Stick to the remains of the party out of inability to accept change? Seek out smaller progressive groups that have no chance of winning an election? Maybe take a hard look at the Republican party and realize they are getting a lot of good things done and that the "bad things" they are being accused of are not happening or not so bad after all?

Given Hogg’s history, I’d just like to say to the demonicrats, “Good luck with that”. His ego will not let them shut him up. And if they fire him, he’ll just do more damage. We all wondered what they were thinking when they hired him. Now we know that the answer is, they weren’t.

Longtime Saturday Night Live star Bowen Yang received applause and laughter from The View co-hosts and the show’s audience after he called Vice President JD Vance “a pope killer.” Co-host Sara Haines asked Yang playing Vance on the NBC sketch comedy show. “I just thought there would be better people for it,” Yang said. “It was my impostor syndrome. I was like, there are better people for this. I worked with an accent coach, I had to get it between Ohio and Appalachia with the accent. It’s hard, it’s very subtle!” Whoopi Goldberg told Yang his Vance portrayal “was funny as hell.”

Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL) is calling for an “uprising” in the streets of the United States until President Donald Trump stops his agenda of increased interior immigration enforcement. This week, Wilson joined other House Democrats in touring the Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Krome Detention Center, which holds criminal illegal aliens while they await their deportations from the U.S. Following the tour, Wilson held a press conference where she told voters to call the offices of congressional Republicans and “threaten” them. She also called for an “uprising” in the streets until the Trump administration stops arresting and deporting illegal aliens.

Washington— Organizers and the Kennedy Center have canceled a week’s worth of events celebrating LGBTQ+ rights for this summer’s World Pride festival in Washington, D.C., amid a shift in priorities and the ousting of leadership at one of the nation’s premier cultural institutions. Multiple artists and producers involved in the center’s Tapestry of Pride schedule, which had been planned for June 5 to 8, told The Associated Press that their events had been quietly canceled or moved to other venues. And in the wake of the cancellations, Washington’s Capital Pride Alliance has disassociated itself from the Kennedy Center.

There have been a couple of very concerning cases involving the arrests of judges for their actions concerning alleged illegal aliens over the past couple of days. First, there was the story of a judge who was allegedly housing an illegal alien gang member in his home. He was banned by the state Supreme Court in New Mexico from ever holding a judicial position again, and federal agents arrested him earlier this week. Then there was the judge in Wisconsin who the FBI arrested for allegedly obstructing ICE when they came to her court looking for an illegal alien.

Moscow described Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Friday talks with US special presidential envoy Steve Witkoff “constructive and quite useful” — as President Trump’s threat to abandon efforts to end the Ukraine war looms large. The talks lasted for three hours following Putin’s open-armed welcome of Witkoff, photos show. Witkoff mirrored Putin’s wide grin, greeting him like an old friend. The two met to hammer out a proposed peace plan to end the bloodshed in Ukraine, but it wasn’t immediately clear Friday if an agreement was reached.

President Donald Trump told Time magazine in an interview published Friday that genocidal Chinese dictator Xi Jinping called him to discuss trade negotiations — a day after the Chinese Foreign Ministry claimed any reports of such negotiations were “fake news.” China and America are embroiled in an ongoing trade conflict that began when President Trump announced a plan to overhaul America’s trade relations with all economic partners. On April 2, Trump unveiled a list of tariffs imposed on nearly every country that exports goods to the United States, including a 34-percent tariff on China. The White House later told reporters that every country on the list except for China

Where do we go when the judges that make up the judicial branch are the ones subverting the law? The branches of our government, as they currently stand, are not coequal. The judiciary has gone off the rails, and it’s time for President Trump to teach them a lesson. In this instance, a constitutional crisis is exactly what I voted for. I’m not talking about packing the court or lawlessness across the country, I’m talking about an out-of-control activist judiciary that is working in tandem to completely subvert the authority of the executive branch regarding each individual part of President Trump’s agenda, undermining the clear authority

The circle of top advisers in Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s orbit has shrunk in recent days to little more than his wife, lawyer, and two lower-level officials — leaving the Pentagon’s lead office without longtime expertise or clear direction. Hegseth’s decision to fire three senior aides last week and reassign his chief of staff has blown a hole in his leadership team, severing essential lines of communication across the department and leading to fears about dangerous slip-ups such as weapons program delays. The wholesale turnover just 100 days into Hegseth’s tenure has been remarkable for its speed. And it has left the first-time government official without trusted staff who understand Washington

The effort has been news for a week, and Hogg has received criticism from veteran Democratic strategist James Carville, as well as former DNC and RNC chairs. The current DNC leadership now looks to be finally gearing up to take action.
