“We have enemies living among us because of what the Biden administration has done by opening our borders,” Noem said while announcing the recreation of the VOICE office at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement headquarters.
Authorities arrested a Texas woman who allegedly tried to smuggle $270,000 in cash into Mexico. The woman claimed to have been hired to move the cash on this and prior occasions.

Army Secretary Dan Driscoll has replaced FBI Director Kash Patel as acting head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, four sources familiar with the move told CBS News.
Driscoll will stay in his job as secretary of the Army while serving as acting ATF director.
Patel was named acting head of the agency in February, two Justice Department sources told CBS News at the time. Like Driscoll, Patel ran both agencies at the same time while he was in charge.

China said it is raising tariffs on U.S. imports from 34 percent to 84 percent starting Thursday, an announcement that came hours after President Trump’s tariffs went into effect.
“If the U.S. insists on further escalating its economic and trade restrictions, China has the firm will and abundant means to take necessary countermeasures and fight to the end,” the Ministry of Commerce wrote in a document, reports USA Today.
The latest tariffs on the U.S.’s trading partners includes a 104 percent tax on Chinese goods.
