Former New York Rep. George Santos is facing an 87-month prison sentence for his part in a fraud scheme.
The Justice Department detailed its case against Santos in a 26-page letter to United States District Judge Joanna Seybert. Eastern District of New York U.S. Attorney John J. Durham, who was appointed by the Trump administration, submitted the letter.
Durham is following up on an investigation spearheaded by Biden administration EDNY attorney Breon Peace, who saw Santos plead guilty to several charges, including wire fraud and aggravated identity theft in August 2024.

A dark web doxxing website targeting Tesla owners and allies of Elon Musk appears to be compiled from hacked data originally stolen from a massive ParkMobile app breach in 2021, according to records obtained by a data privacy group.
The site, known as DogeQuest, first appeared in March and publishes names, home addresses, contact details, and other personal information tied to Tesla drivers and Department of Government Efficiency staff. Marketed as a hub for anti-Musk “creative expressions of protest,” the platform has been linked to real-world vandalism and remains live on the dark web. Federal investigations into DogeQuest are already underway,

Allegedly, Barack Obama was going to take a step back from meddling in politics after the 2024 election, but he spoke at Hamilton College this week, and, of course, he had to weigh in on the new Trump administration. His stunning display of historical revisionism and self-righteous indignation would be comedic if it weren't so dangerous to our republic.
"Uh, let... Imagine if I had done any of this," Obama pontificated to his adoring audience, playing his favorite game of hypotheticals while conveniently ignoring his own track record. “Let, let, let me just... I, I, I just wanna be clear about this. I- i- i- ima- imagine that...

Former White House doctor Kevin O’Connor will be among those grilled by House Republicans for hiding President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline from the American public, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) told The Post.
“Dr. Kevin O’Connor will absolutely, positively be implicated in the cover-up of this. He is a massive, massive part,” said Jackson, a physician by trade who served in the White House Medical Unit under three presidents before being elected to Congress, where he now chairs the House Intelligence Committee’s subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations
“I guarantee you Kevin O’Connor has medical information that the American people don’t have,” Jackson went on. “He was probably putting President Biden on lots of

Rep. Eric Burlison, R-Mo., a member of the House Oversight Committee and DOGE task force, is urging Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel to investigate whether New York state is defrauding Medicaid with a "large financial scheme" involving matching payments for hospitals.
"Recent evidence suggests that for nearly two decades, the State of New York has deprived Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) of more than $1 billion in Medicaid funds," Burlison wrote in a letter to America's top two law enforcement officials on Thursday.
"The state stands accused of violating

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet wrote to President Donald Trump offering to drop tariff levels certain U.S. imports and negotiate.
"Cambodia proposes to negotiate with Your Honorable’s administration at the earliest convenient time and wishes to request that your esteemed government consider postponing the above-mentioned tariff implementation," he wrote on Friday.
"I would like to inform Your Honorable President that the existing practice of Cambodia’s maximum tariff rate tops at 35%. In expression of our good faith and in spirit of strengthening our bilateral trade relations, Cambodia is committed to promote U.S. based product imports with an immediate reduction of 19 product categories from our maximum 35% tariff bound rate to 5%

The more we learn about Kamala Harris’ disastrous campaign, the more entertaining it gets. It’s also a little baffling. The core of her team was seasoned political operatives from the Obama operation who knew how to win elections. Then again, that was a different Democratic Party, one not soaked in far-left wokeism. Democrats knew how to reach voters to win elections. Now, that coalition is dead, as the youth flocked to the GOP, union workers went MAGA, and immigrant voting communities swung 23 points toward the GOP. There was no way Democrats were going to win. Neither Kamala Harris nor Joe Biden was going to beat Donald Trump.

Jaguar Land Rover will pause shipments of its Britain-made cars to the United States for a month, it said on Saturday, as it considers how to mitigate the cost of President Donald Trump's 25% tariff.
Jaguar Land Rover, which is owned by India's Tata Motors (TAMO.NS), opens new tab, confirmed the temporary export suspension after the Times newspaper reported the plan.
"As we work to address the new trading terms with our business partners, we are taking some short-term actions, including a shipment pause in April, as we develop our mid- to longer-term plans," JLR said in an emailed statement.

President Donald Trump and his team have been cracking down hard on border enforcement and on the worst illegal migrants still in the country — great.
But a longer-term fix — also of great use in speeding deportations now — requires cleaning up the mess of US “law” regarding the supposed rights of border-jumpers, as well as our obsolete asylum system.
Gridlocked not just on party lines but by ideologues and interest-group lobbying, Congress has failed for decades to update these laws; instead, activist judges and presidential decrees have created “legal” roadblocks to evicting people here illegally.

President Donald Trump‘s sweeping tariffs, announced Wednesday, have received strong support from the U.S. shrimp industry, which sees them as an opportunity for survival.
After peaking in the 1990s, the U.S. shrimp industry has faced a precipitous decline over the past 15 years. Cheaper imports of farmed shrimp, facing no import duties, have undercut U.S. wild-caught shrimp. The U.S. shrimping industry has lost half of its market value since 2021, according to the Southern Shrimp Alliance, ending the businesses of many.
