The father of a Texas teen accused of fatally stabbing a football star from a rival school over a seat at the stadium says his son is a “good kid” who was provoked to violence.
“Everyone has already made their assumptions about my son, but he’s not what they’re making him out to be,” Andrew Anthony told The Post.
Karmelo Anthony, 17, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly killing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a track meet, leaving him to die in his twin brother’s arms.
“He’s a good kid. He works two jobs. He’s an A student, has a 3.7 GPA,” the heartbroken dad said.

Masked Antifa vandals violently attacked TPUSA staff at a tabling event at UC Davis on Thursday.
The far-left protestors completely destroyed TPUSA’s “Prove Me Wrong” tabling event with former police officer Brandon Tatum. They stole the tent, ripped down the TPUSA banners and tried to steal the TPUSA staffer’s iPad and electronics.
Police officers stood by and did nothing to stop the Antifa thugs as they destroyed the TPUSA canopy and assaulted students. [Tweet, video]
“Antifascista! A! Anti!” Antifa protestors chanted as they destroyed the TPUSA table.

The European Union is considering levying a $1 billion fine against Elon Musk’s X, alleging that the social media company has violated its law against disinformation and illicit content, The New York Times reported.
Along with the hefty fine, the E.U. would also demand that X make changes to its product, according to the Times, which cited “four people with knowledge of the plans.” If the E.U. moves forward, it would be the first fine imposed by the body using its Digital Services Act (DSA). The DSA “regulates online intermediaries and platforms … to prevent illegal and harmful activities online and the spread of disinformation.”

The teenager accused of fatally stabbing Austin Metcalf and leaving him to die in his twin brother’s arms at a high school track meet allegedly admitted to the senseless killing — but claimed it was in self-defense.
“I’m not alleged, I did it,” 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony chillingly told police in Frisco, Texas, as he was being arrested at Kuykendall Stadium, according to an arrest warrant obtained by NBC DFW.
The horrific stabbing was sparked when Anthony, who was sitting under another team’s pop-up tent as it rained Wednesday morning, was asked by Metcalf to move — and Anthony refused, according to the arrest report.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris was reportedly blindsided by her 2024 election loss to President Donald Trump and “bought the hype” that she would win, according to a new book.
“She was completely shocked, and [Harris’ running mate] Tim Walz was shocked,” The Hill reporter Amie Parnes said on the podcast, “Somebody’s Gotta Win with Tara Palmeri” released Thursday.
Parnes discussed reporting in her new book, “FIGHT: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House,” which she co-authored with NBC reporter Jonathan Allen. The book tackles

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has announced the launch of a rogue “shadow government” dubbed the People’s Cabinet — a brazen attempt to sabotage President Donald Trump’s America First agenda.
The announcement comes on the heels of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s shocking call for a “shadow government” during a recent town hall in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where he openly advocated for what he called “alternate press conferences” to spin the public with Democrat-approved talking points.
Now, DNC Chair Ken Martin is taking that vision a step further, turning it into an official operation.

Is the Supreme Court Compromised by Deep State Cronyism?
In a bombshell revelation that’s sending shockwaves through conservative circles, it turns out Chief Justice John Roberts has been rubbing elbows with none other than Norm Eisen—the radical leftist operative who’s spent years orchestrating lawfare campaigns against President Donald Trump and his allies.
According to a report from Revolver News, Roberts didn’t just bump into Eisen at a D.C. cocktail party. No, these two are apparently such “good pals” that Roberts jetted off to the Czech Republic for a week-long sleepover at Eisen’s lavish 150-room palace.

California Governor Gavin Newsom said he has directed his administration to "look at new opportunities to expand trade" as he tries to steer his state around President Donald Trump's sprawling import tariffs. In a post on X, Newsom addressed the U.S.'s global trading partners, writing "California is here and ready to talk." It comes after a Fox News report revealed that Newsom is directing his state to pursue "strategic" relationships with countries announcing retaliatory tariffs against the U.S., urging them to exclude California-made products from those taxes.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is leading Chuck Schumer by double digits in a new head-to-head poll of the 2028 New York primary. The survey by the liberal firm Data for Progress, first shared with POLITICO, found that 55 percent of Democratic likely voters said they supported or leaned toward supporting Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, while 36 percent backed or leaned toward backing Sen. Schumer. Nine percent were undecided. The poll is the latest sign that Schumer’s standing among the Democratic base has taken a hit since he voted to advance a GOP funding bill last month that avoided a government shutdown. The fact that

Former President Barack Obama and failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris on Thursday night attacked the 47th president’s actions as dangerous and “unconstitutional.”
Obama, during an on-stage interview at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, chided Trump’s efforts to right-size the federal government and crack down on rampant illegal immigration among other actions to fulfill his “America First” agenda. “It’s unimaginable that the same parties that are silent now would have tolerated behavior like that from me, or a whole bunch of my predecessors,” Obama said.

After you finish this blog, you’ll be asking the million-dollar question: Why is Chief Justice John Roberts hanging out with the Deep State’s #1 color revolution architect? out the left’s favorite “Republican” has some very interesting buddies.(snip)
According to Norm Eisen—the man who practically wrote the Deep State’s playbook on color revolutions, all things anti-Trump, and lawfare in the US—he and Chief Justice John Roberts are not only good pals, but they even spent a week together in the Czech Republic. According to Norm, the two BFFs were there working on “American rule of law” issues.Hmm…
Norm was so proud of this that he actually bragged about the trip
