Your hard-earned tax dollars don’t just fund the salaries of federal bureaucrats, they also support public-sector unions who negotiate sweetheart deals between the bureaucrats and management. Federal bureaucrats feverishly renegotiated those deals just before President Donald Trump entered office, attempting to block his reforms.
Now, the Trump administration is demanding that each agency provide an accounting of just how much money it spent negotiating collective bargaining agreements with unions.
The Office of Personnel Management, which oversees the federal government’s workforce, sent a memo Monday to agencies across the bureaucracy, demanding and account of the dollars and cents taxpayers spent for collective bargaining agreements.

Elon Musk is making his presence felt in the Trump administration as an adviser and de facto leader of the Department of Government Efficiency, but the billionaire’s Starlink system is also leaving a growing mark on the federal government.
The New York Times reports that Starlink has been installed in the White House to boost the availability of internet throughout the complex. This installation is the latest example of the government adopting Starlink, as its use has been considered across multiple agencies. Starlink is a satellite internet service that has been frequently used in places where internet service can be difficult to access, such as remote countries or war zones.

In D.C., DOGE is the talk of the town. Whether it’s conservatives applauding every move Elon Musk’s governmental organization makes or bureaucrats crying about having to account for their time at work, everybody can’t stop talking about DOGE. This includes the United States Postal Service (USPS), which has authorized DOGE to swoop in and save the day.
“The U.S. Postal Service has authorized Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency to help eliminate red tape hurting financial and operational performance in a move Democrats decried but some postal workers say could be beneficial,” reports FreightWaves.
“It also gave concrete figures on previously announced force reductions, saying it expects to eliminate 10,000 jobs through

A federal judge rejected the Trump administration’s requests to dismiss or move to Louisiana Columbia University graduate Mahmoud Khalil’s case. Instead, the case will be transferred to New Jersey.
Manhattan-based U.S. District Judge Jesse Furman said he did not have jurisdiction because Khalil was in New Jersey when his lawyers first challenged his case. Justice Department attorneys argued the case should be transferred to Louisiana, and Khalil’s attorneys wanted it litigated in New York.
Furman retained his pause on Khalil’s deportation, which can be overruled by the New Jersey federal judge.

Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) celebrated Tesla‘s declining stock while speaking to a Wisconsin crowd on Tuesday.
Walz was in the state for a campaign event on behalf of Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate Susan Crawford. The event was in Eau Claire, which is Rep. Derrick Van Orden’s (R-WI) district. The winner will determine a liberal or conservative majority in the state’s highest court.
Crawford is running against Brad Schimel, who received campaign donations from PACs funded by Tesla CEO Elon Musk. This connection, which became the main theme of Crawford’s recent campaign ad, prompted Walz to mention the company.

President Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s offensive against federal waste, fraud, and abuse has exposed the antics of agencies whose acronyms had previously been known to few people, such as the U.S. Agency for International Development, with its slew of transgender and diversity programs, and the National Institutes of Health, funder of sex changes for mice, rats, and monkeys.
Less salacious but ultimately more momentous are the changes the new administration is pursuing against another set of acronyms, the IGs, or inspectors general — the officials at the forefront of combating waste, fraud, and abuse. Trump’s firing of 17 IGs during his first week in office was a crucial first

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin vowed he wouldn’t give up the fight to terminate grants awarded by the Biden administration to “politically connected and inexperienced nongovernmental organizations” after a federal judge blocked the move.
“While the Biden EPA touted ‘tossing Gold Bars off the Titanic,’ these terminated grants, riddled with self-dealing and wasteful spending, are now frozen by court order," Zeldin said in a statement, noting billions in taxpayer money was given in a "manner that deliberately reduced the ability of EPA to conduct proper oversight.”
Zeldin said he wouldn't "rest" until the taxpayer money is returned to the Treasury.

What do federal employees talk about around the proverbial watercooler? As it turns out, the overwhelming answer is: liberal politics. And that has ramifications for all Americans.
The ideal of a nonpartisan federal workforce is foundational to U.S. government operations and the law of the land for more than 140 years. Most federal employees are career staff hired on a nonpartisan basis, retaining their positions across administrations to gain experience and expertise. In return, they set aside personal politics and impartially implement elected officials’ policies, no matter their personal preferences.
At least, that’s how it’s supposed to work. But past and new research indicates a significant partisan lean

Daughters of the American Revolution Chapters have reached out to President Donald Trump in their fight against the national organization’s decision to allow trans-identifying males into the historic female group.
Labeling themselves Daughters Advocating for Restoration, the Martha Laird Chapter in Texas along with five endorsing chapters in five different states wrote that the DAR has “fallen prey to trans ideology” in a letter to the president obtained by The Daily Wire.
The group called on Trump to “shine a light on what has happened within the ranks of the DAR” following the executive order he signed, which states that the United States will only recognize two genders.

The Department of Education has given nearly $101 million in grants to train training K-12 social workers in leftist ideology, an education watchdog has found.
Parents Defending Education unveiled its “GrantEd – Social Work” report on Wednesday, highlighting how universities taking federal dollars for their social work programs have embedded “social justice” into their curriculum. Since 2021, the Department of Education has given at least $100,964,880 in grants to 25 universities ostensibly for their “mental health” programs. Parents Defending Education said that the money is going to back programs that promote radical leftist ideology and seek to train leftist activists.
“On the surface, these federal grants were given out

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday directing all diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices to be removed from the foreign service.
The order, which builds off previous DEI-related executive orders, directs Secretary of State Marco Rubio to remove any reference to DEI from the Department of State’s hiring and promotion practices. Instead, Trump said that the only hiring criteria should be merit.
“Over the last 4 years, divisive and discriminatory policies were systematically embedded into every part of the Federal Government, including hiring processes and employee performance evaluations in the Foreign Service,” the executive order said. “It is the policy of the Federal Government that hiring in
