In what can only be accurately described as a case study in projection, Democrat Senator Elissa Slotkin (MI) said Americans in the Trump era are like teenagers whose brains have yet to fully form.
Pot, meet kettle.
To complete the irony, Slotkin's comments were made as a guest with the ladies of "The View" on Tuesday morning.
"We're about to turn 250 years old, right? We're still pretty young for a country," she explained. "These are, like, our angry teenage years. We are going through this push and pull where we're happy, we're sad."
"We want this, we want that, and what do you do when you have a teenager threatening themselves and others?

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) released a preliminary report Tuesday on its investigation into the horrific crash between an American Airlines jet and an Army helicopter near Reagan National Airport (DCA) in January. In conjunction with that report the NTSB issued a second report "urg[ing] the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to take immediate action on the safety recommendations ... concerning the potential for midair collisions" between helicopters and passenger planes on taking off or landing at DCA.
According to the Aviation Investigation Report (emphasis added):

After Secretary of State Marco Rubio took to X on Monday to declare that 83 percent of the USAID programs would be cancelled and contracts rescinded, a curious memo from a USAID senior staffer obtained by POLITICO instructed remaining staffers to convene at the former agency on Tuesday for destruction of “classified safes and personnel documents." (Snip) A senior official at USAID instructed the agency’s remaining staff to convene at the agency’s now-former headquarters in Washington on Tuesday for an “all day” group effort to destroy documents stored there, many of which contain sensitive information.

I know, I know – Donald Trump has been no saint in his personal life. I’ve never really cared – as I’ve repeated for years, I was voting for president, not Pope (though, given how this Pope is on the border, I’d vote for Trump there too). But Democrats would not let it go. “He’s a cheater!” The party of every Kennedy until 5 months ago screamed as though no one remembered anything about history. “He’s been accused of rape!” voices screamed from the wagons still circled around Bill Clinton and his enabler Hillary. One thing is certain: the old adage is true: Democrats are always guilty

On Tuesday evening, by a vote of 217-213, the House voted almost entirely along party lines to pass a continuing resolution (CR) that President Donald Trump indicated his support for over the weekend. Vice President JD Vance also spoke to House Republicans earlier on Tuesday to rally support. The push looks to have worked, as only Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) voted against the CR, joining almost all Democrats in the process. One Democrat, Rep. Jared Golden of Maine, voted for the CR.

We've covered plenty how radical Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), a member of the anti-Israel Squad, is. She was not only censured in a bipartisan vote by the House in November 2023, but she's also been the lone vote against some common-sense bills, especially if such bills dare to show support for Israelis and/or not enough for Palestinians. Tlaib also opposes border security bills, though. Such was the case on Monday night, when the House voted 402-1 on the Subterranean Border Defense Act.
Such a bill, introduced by Reps. Eli Crane (R-AZ) and Lou Correa (D-CA), would "require annual reports on counter illicit cross-border tunnel operations," according to the bill's text.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. could well be the first secretary of health and human services since the department was rebranded in 1981, and maybe even the first since the Department of Health, Education and Welfare was established in 1953, to be determined to take positive and concrete steps actually to improve the health of Americans rather than to line the pockets of Big Pharma or promote the nationalization and bureaucratization of the health care system. With precisely the goal of improving Americans’ health in mind, RFK Jr. traveled to Florida over the weekend and stopped by the popular burger joint Steak ‘n Shake.

By all rights, Kamala Harris's storyline for Jan. 6, 2021, should have been that she narrowly escaped being assassinated by a bomb timed to detonate at the Democratic National Committee headquarters when the newly elected vice president was inside. But she never mentioned it. In fact, the pipe bomber case and the FBI's handling of it turned into vapor right after they tracked down the bomber's cell phone. None of this makes sense.
Maybe things will make sense soon.
FBI Chief Kash Patel has been sending the documents that the Senate and House Judiciary Committees have been seeking for years.

Remember when Democrats thought they had a winning message to combat Trump's popularity by harping about egg prices? They just lost their favorite talking point.
“Instead of leaning into Trump’s teardown of the federal government or his alliance with billionaire lieutenant Elon Musk, they’re steering to what they perceive as the everyday concerns of Americans (Snip) According to Trading Economics, after reaching an all-time high of $8.17 per dozen in early March, egg prices have plummeted to $5.51, which now sits below the nearly $7 average when President Trump took office in January.

Alejandro Mayorkas, the nation’s top border official from 2021 to 2025, is denying blame for President Donald Trump’s smashing victory in 2024, which has scattered and impoverished the Democratic Party’s many interest groups.
Instead, Mayorkas is blaming Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott and the upstart new media that he could not control as he gambled the party’s future by importing more than 10 million migrants for use by businesses and progressives.
“I am very proud of what we did do,” Mayorkas told a friendly Harvard interviewer on March 5.

The Department of Agriculture has cancelled a grant that recognizes menstrual cycles in ‘transgender men’ highlighted by Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins last week.
The grant awarded by USDA was specifically for Southern University Agricultural & Mechanical College in Louisiana. A description of the grant states in part that “the first occurrence of menstruation occurs at approximately 12 years of age and ends with menopause at roughly 51 years of age.”
“A woman will have a monthly menstrual cycle for about 40 years of her life, averaging to about 450 periods over the course of her lifetime,” it continues, contending that it is “also important to recognize that transgender men

The Department of Veterans Affairs has saved roughly $900 million after reviewing just two percent of its contracts, VA Secretary Doug Collins announced.
In a video posted to his official X account, Collins addressed those complaining about changes being made at Veterans Affairs and explained that no matter what, no changes will result in cuts to health care or benefits to veterans and VA beneficiaries.
“VA will always fulfill its duty to provide veterans, families, caregivers and survivors the health care and benefits they have earned. That’s a promise, and while we conduct our review, VA will continue to hire for more than 300,000 mission critical positions
