Sammy Woodhouse likes to say, she's so bored with living in Groundhog Day.
I know the feeling. Reading today's newspapers is like listening to an oldies station with only fifteen records: things that I first wrote about twenty years ago are presented as stunning new revelations that will knock your socks off - even though my socks fell off circa 2007. Here's the latest - and, as with Sammy's Muslim paedo rape-gangs, it's all down to "cultural sensitivity". Headline from The Daily Telegraph: 'I treat children with life-limiting conditions from cousin marriages – but we can't talk about it'

We know about the liberal media cover-up regarding Joe Biden’s mental health. It wasn’t a mid-way through his term crisis either. On day one, his staff noticed he was losing his marbles and did whatever they could to hide this from the public. Toward the end, it was clear to voters that Biden had retreated into the bunker, the beach, or anywhere that would limit access to the White House Press Corps. Many reporters knew of his condition and said nothing out of fear of helping the Republicans or losing access.

An illegal immigrant who served as deputy communications director for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) has fled the United States for Colombia, saying he finally has "freedom of movement."
Diego de la Vega, who arrived in the United States from Ecuador at age seven and overstayed his visitor's visa, began working for Ocasio-Cortez in October 2022, according to his LinkedIn. Last December, de la Vega left the United States and relocated to Bogotá with his wife, another illegal immigrant, the Substack "Migrant Insider" reported.
Ocasio-Cortez praised her former aide on Wednesday, saying he was "amazing" and that "we love him."

The $3 million rental home Hunter Biden claims is now “unlivable” after the California wildfires — leaving him broke and unable to continue a 2023 lawsuit he filed — appears unscathed even as all the homes around it burned to the ground.
The former first son, 55, was living in the four-bedroom Malibu home with his wife, Melissa, and their son, Beau, when the raging Palisades Fire tore through his neighborhood in January, sources confirmed to The Post.

“Like many others in that situation, [Hunter] has had difficulty in finding a new permanent place to live as well as finding it difficult to earn a living,”

Three heroic passengers were able to detain a 17-year-old boy who allegedly dressed as a maintenance worker to board a Jetstar flight at an Australian airport — with a shotgun and ammunition, police said.
Terror swept through Sydney-bound Flight 610 on Thursday morning when the boy, who has yet to be publicly identified, snuck through a hole in the security fencing at Avalon Airport and boarded the flight with a shotgun in tow, Victoria police said in a statement.
The teen, however, was quickly overpowered by three civilians who tossed caution to the wind to save their fellow passengers, pinning the 17-year-old to the floor until security arrived.

Former Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams said Wednesday on CNN’s “News Central” that President Donald Trump is a “petty tyrant’ surrounded by “complicit flunkies.”
Abrams said, “I have a podcast called ‘Assembly Required’ and we have been having this conversation for the last six weeks and we have to do all of the above. We have to call out Donald Trump on his lies. We have to point out that an unelected oligarch is doing his best to steal America from its people in Elon Musk.”
She added, “We have a complicit Congress that is allowing him to fire thousands of people

Pictures of Andrew Cuomo schmoozing with then-Palestine Liberation Organization leader Yasser Arafat in 2000 are back in the spotlight now that the ex-governor is making a comeback bid for mayor.
Cuomo, who was then Bill Clinton’s secretary for Housing and Urban Development, sat down with Arafat on June 23, 2000, as part of a three-day trip to Israel.
He also met with then-Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and announced the creation of a binational commission on housing and community development.
But at least one Jewish activist said seeing anyone meet with Arafat made his blood boil.
“The only acceptable photo with Yasser Arafat is putting a knife in his back. Arafat

ABC News staffers are bracing for imminent layoffs while the division will restructure its programming including the merging of its “20/20” and “Nightline” programs and the consolidation of its “Good Morning America” productions, according to reports.
The Walt Disney Co. is set to lay off around 200 people from its ABC News Group division as well as its Disney Entertainment Networks unit — a move that constitutes cutting some 6% of the combined staff of the two units, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Almin Karamehmedovic, president of ABC News, circulated a memo to employees on Wednesday morning confirming the changes.

A Connecticut honor student is suing her school district, alleging that she was never taught to read and write.
Aleysha Ortiz, 19, graduated from Hartford Public High School in June with honors and was awarded a scholarship to the University of Connecticut — but despite those achievements, she alleges she is still illiterate, the New York Post reported.
Ortiz, who spent 12 years in the Hartford public school district and is a native of Puerto Rico, testified about her experience at a May city council meeting and explained how the educational system failed her.
“I decided, they [the school] had 12 years,” Ortiz told CNN. “Now it’s my time.”

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin detailed on The Alex Marlow Show how the Biden administration protected $20 billion in “gold bars” meant for leftist NGOs, many of them with connections to the Biden administration.
Zeldin sent shockwaves in mid-February after he had pledged to recover $20 billion in taxpayer funds that had been sent by the Biden administration to climate change projects and other pet projects of Democrat staffers. The EPA Administrator at the time likened it to “throwing gold bars off the Titanic,” saying that it was a “rush job with reduced oversight.”

In 2006, the brilliant geopolitical scholar Mark Steyn wrote a depressively prescient book about the imminent fate of the Western world, . Steyn posited that Europe would collapse from three main causes: Islamic domination, an unsustainable welfare state, and anti-spiritual solipsism. He added that the United States would be the last nation standing as a majority united Christianist country with the will to power. And that America’s very rejection of the leftist hive mentality would draw the ire of its diminishing allies across the pond.

Tough-talking White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller has been on a roll lately, dropping brutal hot take after hot take and explaining to the lamestream media just how the Trump administration has been killing it despite the whining liberal naysayers.[snip]
What a day—I don’t recall ever seeing anything like that in my lifetime. I almost—don’t slam me, I said almost—felt sorry for Zelensky as he made a complete fool of himself. He looked entitled, ungrateful, and narcissistic, but he also looked somewhat shocked that he was taken to task.
Comments:
De la Vega is going back to Colombia, because it is "incredibly satisfying."
Kind of begs a question, no?
