President Donald Trump is celebrating a significant victory for conservatives in Germany, as the country's conservative party secured a major win in the latest elections. This triumph is a rebuke to the current government's left-wing policies. Trump extended his congratulations and described the outcome as a positive shift in Europe's political landscape. This win shows growing support for conservative values in Germany, aligning with Trump’s broader political message of national sovereignty and strong borders.

Better check Merz for euroweenie tendencies before making any pronouncements. (Gad, his name is Friederich Merz.... no relation to the Fred Mertz that Americans know and love, I guess.)

It's a step in the right direction (pun intended) but is it too late? Germany is in pretty bad shape having to support and defend itself from its new muslim citizens.

And then there's Angela Merkel...who...as prime minister of Germany opened the borders to muslims...and made a mess of Germany's economy...ands when she saw what she had done...she retired to some safe space in the Bahamas and left Germans to deal with the mess....it is always good to remember history...and this discontent with government...caused the rise of hitler...for your lefties who needed the connection to the tyrant....

21% of the vote isn't much of a victory. A lesson for those who prefer a more than 2 party race.

Don't be surprised if the new German government isn't a fan of Trump and what is currently going on in the US - they are at most as conservative as the Dems before Obama and have no love for America, it is a German "thing" (they'd have pretty much ruled the world if we didn't help beat them in WW I & II). Germany sees themselves as the leader in the NWO movement with Vance's & Trump's statements quite at odds with that aspiration. Regardless of the ruling coalition, Germany is hades bent on taking its last stand on the hill of renewable energy, ignoring demographic realities and doing the opposite of whatever the US does. As always, the Fatherland knows what is best!

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth absolutely nuked a reporter for asking a stupid question during a meeting at the Pentagon with Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister, Prince Khalid bin Salman. A reporter was totally out of line when he asked Secretary Hegseth about his decision to select an “underqualified retired lieutenant general” to replace Charles Brown as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. President Trump fired the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Charles “CQ” Brown, on Friday and announced his replacement.

DOGE chief Elon Musk teased Monday that federal workers may receive a second email asking them to list their weekly accomplishments – and that failure to respond to it will result in “termination.” The Tesla and SpaceX founder’s warning came hours after the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) notified human resource bosses across multiple agencies that responses to emails sent Saturday –demanding a list of five bullet points detailing what federal workers achieved in the previous five working days — were “voluntary” and that failure to respond would not be taken as a resignation, as Musk had claimed. A federal judge Monday denied an emergency motion from the Associated Press (AP) to restore its access to White House press pool events. The AP made its motion in a suit filed in Washington against three White House officials, claiming the administration’s move violates the First Amendment.U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden, appointed by President Donald Trump during his first administration, denied the emergency motion from the AP but ordered expedited consideration of the matter by the court. “As we have said from the beginning, asking the President of the United States questions in the Oval Office and aboard Air Force One is a privilege granted to journalists, not a legal right,”

My grandfather used to say, about some of the less... brainy residents of northern Linn County, Iowa, where he lived and farmed his whole life, that "...the engine's running, but nobody's driving." Some folks make you wonder if the engine itself isn't firing on all cylinders. This brings us to a TikTok user, @sarahcroberts, who admits, on camera, that she has been dodging paying her taxes for eight years and, in the same rant, calls for the assassination of DOGE chief Elon Musk. As is so often the case, Libs of TikTok brings us the evidence; as the saying goes, let's go to the videotape!

Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk has continued to bring light to the issue. The speculation mounted, particularly, after Sen. There is reportedly trouble on the set of ABC News’s The View, where the hosts have loudly voiced their criticisms of President Donald Trump — whom the show hosted years ago. The New York Post said Friday the hosts have been pressured to cool it with their rhetoric against Trump, while morale is also apparently suffering after layoffs and decisions to cut costs. The Post article read: One source close to the show’s co-hosts — Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro — said the fear and loathing is partly because Brian Teta, executive producer of the daytime gab-fest, spoke to staffers

Until recently, the U.S. and the rest of the developed world pursued a costly global policy of “net-zero” carbon emissions to battle the supposed ill-effect of climate change. But President Donald Trump has changed all that by ending the U.S.’ commitment to the global net-zero effort. Will today’s highly partisan voters support Trump? The latest I&I/TIPP Poll data suggest a high-degree of skepticism among many voters over global warming’s threat. Three-quarters of those responding to the I&I/TIPP Poll agreed there are reasons for “public skepticism toward climate-change policies,” while just over a third of voting-age Americans say they themselves “distrust” the information used to sell previous climate-change policies.
