According to the latest numbers from one of America’s most consistently accurate pollsters, a majority of the public sides with President Trump on the issue of limiting birthright citizenship.
Rasmussen Reports surveyed 1,196 likely voters on February 6, 9, and 10, and found majority support to finally put an end to how birthright citizenship is currently defined — which is that if you are born on United States soil you are automatically an American citizen. This stupid and suicidal Constitutional interpretation allows the children of non-citizens, including those whose parents are in our country illegally, to win American citizenship for that child simply because they happened to be born here.

Former aides to President Barack Obama admitted on an episode of “Pod Save America” they should have done “some of the stuff” President Donald Trump is doing with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
When discussing DOGE’s initiatives to cut federal spending, the “Obama Bros” admitted to “lamenting” their situation.
Jon Lovett, a former Obama speechwriter, implied he “didn’t know” they could make government so efficient.
“Honestly, some of this is pretty annoying because it’s some of the stuff we should’ve done. We didn’t know you could do some of this,” Lovett said.

The governing body for school sports in the state of Maine officially rejected President Donald Trump’s new Title IX rules and will continue to allow transgender athletes to play in girl’s and women’s sports, its director says.
Mike Burnham, executive director of the Maine Principals Association (MPA), confirmed on Wednesday that it will not abide by Trump’s executive order to “keep men out of women’s sports,” Fox News reported. “The executive order and our Maine state Human Rights Act are in conflict, and the Maine Principal’s Association (MPA) will continue to follow state law regarding gender identity,” Burnham insisted.

A federal judge on Wednesday declined to pause the Trump administration’s buyout program for government workers, giving President Trump a key win in his push to shrink the size of the federal government.
US District Judge George A. O’Toole ruled that the union groups suing to block the so-called “Deferred Resignation” program lacked standing and that his Massachusetts-based court lacked the jurisdiction to proceed with the lawsuit.
O’Toole, an appointee of former President Bill Clinton, temporarily blocked the Office of Personnel Management from moving ahead with the program earlier this week, after unions representing more than 800,000 federal workers charged that that the buyout offers were unlawful

Just because Caryn Elaine Johnson, who does by the fake name Whoopi Goldberg, was 69 years old and Joy Behar was 82 years old, didn’t mean they were above acting like juvenile bullies. The oldest members of ABC’s Cackling Coven, The View kicked off Wednesday’s show by taking swings at Elon Musk’s 4-year-old son, mocking and bullying him for his name: “X.” At no point did any of the other cast members intervene on behalf of the child. Instead, one of them blamed Musk for South African apartheid.
Looking to start the show’s Hot Topics segment with Musk’s Oval Office press conference about the activities

It’s been three brutal years since Vladimir Putin launched his bid to conquer Ukraine; it’s time to find a lasting peace — which is only possible if all sides are realistic.
One huge difference is that we have a new US president — one who’s stronger, but also understands how to negotiate.
Putin knows he can’t snow Donald Trump as he did Joe Biden, who routinely folded in the face of Vlad’s nuclear bluffs — thereby failing to support Kyiv hard and fast enough to dislodge the Russians.
Biden lost that opportunity for good: It’s now pointless to demand a return to Ukraine’s 2014 borders (to be fair, Barack Obama let Crimea go);

The lefty freakout over DOGE inquiries into federal spending continues — despite (or maybe because of?) the fact that DOGE’s work is beyond justified: Just look at FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Per a recent inspector general audit, FEMA during COVID handed over $9.6 billion in a grant for medical aid to a single state — and it still hasn’t actually figured out if $8.1 billion of that was kosher under grant rules.
Worse, $1.5 billion that $9.6 billion was overkill, more than the state actually spent.

On Tuesday night’s episode of MSNBC’s The 11th Hour, a panel hosted by Stephanie Ruhle expressed their regret, dismay, and indignation at the implosion of public confidence in established, mainstream media outlets, such as their own. In typical fashion for them, they pinned all the blame on such favorite bogeymen as President Trump and Elon Musk, and showed no self-awareness of the fact that they themselves may have borne much responsibility for the trend, with their own track record of politicized, one-sided, and less-than-transparent reporting.
Raising the subject, Ruhle turned to Semafor political reporter Dave Weigel, with the words, “you've also been reporting on this evolving problem…where less information is

The Associated Press may not be inclined to use it, but there’s an old expression about relieving oneself and blaming the results on the rain that it ought to be reminded of.
On Tuesday, the White House demanded that the AP alter its style guide and align itself with President Trump’s latest branding exercise: Renaming the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America.
When the AP refused, Team Trump barred AP reporters from a buzzy Oval Office signing ceremony featuring Elon Musk. There’s nothing to celebrate about that; the most powerful man in the country shouldn’t deny journalists access based upon their editorial judgments.

Border czar Tom Homan is “not happy” about the Big Apple’s lack of action to help President Trump’s immigration crackdown, sources said Wednesday — setting up what could be a contentious second meeting with Mayor Eric Adams.
Homan will make the newly Trump-indebted Adams come to him at New York City’s ICE headquarters at 26 Federal Plaza for the Thursday morning meeting, which will mark the pair’s second face-to-face, sources told The Post.
The mayor discussed reopening ICE’s office on Rikers Island during the pair’s first sit-down in Gracie Mansion in December, and he left it vowing to crack down on criminal migrants.

WASHINGTON — President Trump said Wednesday he wants to shut down the Department of Education as soon as possible.
“I’d like it to be closed immediately,” he told reporters in the Oval Office, describing the agency as “a big con job.”
He blasted the US education system for being ranked 40th in the world, but being ranked No. 1 for “cost per pupil.”
“Send it back to Iowa, to Idaho, Colorado,” Trump went on, keeping to his pledge to put education back to the states.
The 78-year-old president is reportedly considering issuing an executive order that would move many DOE functions to other agencies, only keeping those functions that are explicitly written in statute,
