Israel is considering a substantial strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities now that President Trump is in office and Joe Biden is out, according to a report citing US intelligence agencies.
A strike could come sometime this year, with Israeli leaders feeling Trump is far more likely to back an attack on Iran than Biden ever was, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.
The intelligence came from an assessment compiled by the Biden administration in the final days of its existence. The report explained that the balance of military risks had shifted in the Middle East after Iran’s defenses had weakened following a year of war and proxy

Social media company X has agreed to pay about $10 million to settle a lawsuit by President Donald Trump, who has put X's billionaire owner Elon Musk in charge of a major government cost- and staff-cutting effort, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.
Trump had sued X, then known as Twitter, and its then-CEO Jack Dorsey in San Francisco federal court for deplatforming his account following the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol by his supporters. Twitter had cited the risk of Trump inciting further violence related to his effort to remain in the White House following his loss to former President Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

WASHINGTON – Attorney General Pam Bondi said Wednesday that the Justice Department is suing the state of New York and its top officials for prioritizing "illegal aliens over American citizens."
"As you know, we sued Illinois and New York didn't listen. So now you're next," Bondi said.
Bondi, in her first news conference since being confirmed, said “millions” of people “with violent records have flooded into our communities, bringing violence and deadly drugs with them,” and that states like New York with permissive immigration policies were contributing to the problem.
Bondi announced that DOJ sued not only

The newly constituted board of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has elected President Donald Trump as its chairman.
The vote, according to the president, was unanimous.
“It is a Great Honor to be Chairman of The Kennedy Center, especially with this amazing Board of Trustees. We will make The Kennedy Center a very special and exciting place!” Trump said in a statement on his Truth Social platform.
CNN has reached out to the Kennedy Center for comment.
Trump on Monday named Ric Grenell, a longtime confidant already serving in multiple administration positions, to lead the Kennedy Center

The Department of Homeland Security recovered $59 million of taxpayer funds the Federal Emergency Management Administration sent to hotels in New York City to shelter illegal immigrants.
DHS clawed back the payment Wednesday after firing four FEMA staffers Tuesday for making the payment in subversion of agency leadership and the Trump administration’s broader agenda, as National Review previously reported.
“Secretary Noem has clawed back the full payment that FEMA deep state activists unilaterally gave to NYC migrant hotels,” DHS assistant secretary Tricia McLaughin posted on X Wednesday.

President Donald Trump has Democrats on the ropes with his surging support from African Americans, prompting a poll to declare that “black men love Trump.”
In a new Cygnal survey shared with Secrets, Trump has a shocking 42% approval rating from black men, a massive edge over any past Republican president.
Brock McCleary, Cygnal vice president of polling, told Secrets, “Forty-two percent of black men approving of Trump’s job so far is no small thing. Unlike Democrats’ approach previously, this isn’t about placation or offering new attractive policies with no follow-through. His popularity and approval surges because he does the things he says he’ll do

Meet Judge John McConnell Jr. He is the judge who has issued a Temporary Restraining Order prohibiting President Trump from freezing any federal funds in order to root out waste.
Fraud? No big deal. This is the bureaucrats' money to spend as they see fit.
So who is he? Well, he is the kind of judge who, before he got his sweetheart gig, donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democrats, is on the board of a government-funded NGO that is seeing its funding frozen, whose daughter works for the Department of Education. He was a donor to the Obama, Clinton, and Joe Biden campaigns in 2008, covering his bases.

President Trump said Wednesday that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin have agreed to begin “negotiations” on ending the Ukraine war.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said they will “work together, very closely.”
The president’s comments came shortly after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told NATO it is “unrealistic” to hope for a return to the version of Ukraine’s borders that existed before Russia annexed Crimea in 2014.
Hegseth further said that the U.S. “does not believe that NATO membership for Ukraine is a realistic outcome for a negotiated settlement.”

After a weeks-long effort to win over a handful of Senate Republican skeptics, Tulsi Gabbard was confirmed Wednesday morning by a 52-48 vote along party lines to serve as President Donald Trump’s director of national intelligence. Former Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell joined every Senate Democrat in opposing her confirmation.
Wednesday morning’s confirmation vote represents a major triumph for Gabbard, who was initially considered one of Trump’s most vulnerable nominees due to her unorthodox foreign policy views.

The Department of Education on Tuesday urged the National Collegiate Athletic Association and a counterpart organization overseeing high school sports to restore to female athletes various records, titles, awards, and recognitions that were stolen by men during the Biden administration.
The Education Department’s general counsel sent a letter to the NCAA and the National Federation of State High School Associations asking them to “strip” the accolades “wrongfully credited to the biological males who unfairly competed against girls and women in The department said the request is “entirely consistent” with the NCAA’s policy change barring men from competing in women’s sports.athletics,” according to a press release.
