It’s a Croc block!
Dozens of schools in at least 20 states across the U.S. have banned students from wearing Crocs to class.
School administrators claim students are more likely to struggle to walk when wearing the shoes — which could be deadly in an emergency. (Photo) “It’s actually a safety hazard,” Stoney Pritchett, principal of Bessemer City High School in Alabama, told TODAY. “Man, they can twist the knees, twist the ankles, things like that.”

STUTTGART, Germany — Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Monday while on a C-17 aircraft en route to Germany signed a memorandum renaming “Fort Liberty” back to “Fort Bragg” — the original name of the storied military base in North Carolina.
In a short video posted on X of him signing the memo, he said, “There it is. Pursuant to the authority of the Secretary of Defense, Title 10, United States Code § 113, I direct the Army to change the name of Fort Liberty, North Carolina, to Fort Bragg, North Carolina. That’s right — Bragg is back!'” (X Video) However, the name change now honors Army Private First Class

Days after turning heads by vowing to get rid of the board members of the Kennedy Center and name himself chairman, President Donald Trump announced Monday that he would be naming Ric Grenell the new interim Executive Director of the Center. Trump has tapped Grenell for various positions in the past, and Grenell has been a longtime supporter of the President.
The Trump announcement was a pointed one, identifying the ultra-progressive slant of recent initiatives from the Kennedy Center as the primary reason it has landed in his crosshairs.
"NO MORE DRAG SHOWS, OR OTHER ANTI-AMERICAN PROPAGANDA — ONLY THE BEST," he emphasized in a post on Truth Social,

During an episode of his ‘2Way’ program this week, journalist Mark Halperin suggested that he is speechless over how Trump has been able to do so much already during his second term.
He compares Trump to a football player who suddenly finds himself with the ball and no one on the field who is able to tackle him as he runs for the end zone.
He goes so far as to suggest that Trump’s second term is going to make the Reagan Revolution look like a ‘joke’ compared to this and notes that the Democrats seem powerless to stop any of it.

USAID is no more, but that doesn’t mean their years-long campaign of government waste and fraud has vanished. The vestiges of this agency’s serial scamming will be evident for years. In Lebanon, Israeli forces recently raided a Hezbollah weapons cache that had some interesting items from America: USAID packages. It’s not entirely shocking since it was explicitly clear that Hamas took over the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees. What’s so shocking about another agency having its aid packages landing in the laps of terrorists? Our tax dollars went to these folks (via NY Post):

The FBI has uncovered 2,400 new records about President John F. Kennedy’s assassination following President Trump’s order to release the secret files, according to reports.
Those documents contain about 14,000 pages worth of material that a disclosure board was supposed to review but never saw, Axios reported Monday.
The White House learned about the never-before-reviewed documents on Friday as the Office of the Director of National Intelligence presented its plan to disclose the remaining documents.

Washington—President Trump has said it’s too early to know if he will anoint Vice President JD Vance as his would-be successor ahead of the 2028 election.
Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier asked Trump, 78, in an interview taped ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl: “Do you view Vice President JD Vance as your successor, the Republican nominee in 2028?”
“No, but he’s very capable,” Trump replied. (Photo) “I think you have a lot of very capable people,” the president added. “So far I think he’s doing a fantastic job. It’s too early. We’re just starting.”

President Donald Trump reiterated his plans for the United States to have a "long-term ownership position" in the Gaza Strip at some point in the future during an exclusive interview with Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier that aired on Monday.
Trump said "great people" in the Middle East could potentially fund the reconstruction process inside the war-torn enclave after Israel ends its war against Hamas, which began after the militant group led a surprise early morning attack on Oct. 7, 2023, killing roughly 1,200 people and taking more than 250 as hostages.

A staggering 800,000 non-citizens could reportedly be voting soon in New York City elections, as a court is considering legislation this week that would allow them to register to vote ahead of the city’s elections.
A top New York court is set to hear arguments regarding the matter on Tuesday, according to a report by Politico. This comes after an appellate court struck down Democrats’ efforts to permit non-citizens to vote last year.If the initiative by Democrats is successful, around 800,000 non-citizens living in New York City will be allowed to vote in city-level elections, such as the upcoming mayoral election this November, the report noted.
