Baltic states unplug from Russia and join
EU power grid

Original Article

The Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are now unplugged from Russia's electricity grid and have joined the European Union's network. Plans for the move - which have been in the works since 2007 - were seen as essential for European security and had been brought brought forward after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. "Today, history is made," EU chief Ursula von der Leyen told a ceremony in Lithuania's capital. "This is freedom, freedom from threats, freedom from blackmail."

Comments:

Good news. If the money flow into Russia and Ukraine can be stopped the war will have to end.

Anything that EU Chief Ursula von der Leyden thinks is a great move forward is something that is 100% the choice of globalists such as Soros, Klaus Schwab and the rest of the fascist elites at the World Economic Forum, etc. In pursuit of "peace" we can end up as serfs for the ruling elites.

I assume the EU power must cross the short border with Poland. Most of their territories are bordering Russia, Belarus, and Kaliningrad.

Anything the EU has it's fingers on....is a losing game...they are into control and power and they mean to subjugate the entire world...if they have enough simple minded people to follow their lead....the EU is not very well thought of in Europe....they have installed the globalist puppets...who do as their told...like Angela Merkel.....to insure their financial security....it's never been about...what's best for the people...right from the start...it was a ponzischeme.....

Wars have historically been fought over resources...they have it, we want it, let's go get it. In millennia past, those resources included wealth and people (water, livestock, arable land, gold). In modern times, wars will be fought over wealth and people (fossil fuels, uranium, rare earth mineral, water, livestock, arable land, wealth). The more things change, the more they stay the same.

The entirety of eastern Europe that might still be using "Russian" gauge railroad lines should begin converting them to American/European standard gauge. That should make delivering things to Kaliningrad much more of a hassle.

For decades, car-making has been the jewel in Germany's industrial crown, a powerful symbol of the country's famous post-war economic miracle. Its "Big Three" brands, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW, have long been praised for their performance, innovation and precision engineering. But today, the German motor industry is struggling. How can it get back on the road to recovery? When you arrive by train in Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony, the first thing you see is the Volkswagen factory. Its huge facade, emblazoned with a giant VW logo and flanked by four tall chimneys, dominates one bank of the canal that runs through the city.
