Ahhh, the Super Bowl. Where families gather to watch the big game. Eat lots of food. Drink some. Party a little. Get together with friends to laugh, chill, hang out. It's one of the few moments, the extremely few, few moments, where Americans genuinely come together.
We put aside politics. We put aside our differences. We take part in a great American tradition. It's actually pretty cool. Well, it was. Because now President Donald Trump is attending the game.
Punchbowl News was the first to report that Trump will attend Super Bowl 59 between Philadelphia and Kansas City in New Orleans. So the most divisive

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who should probably ask for a refund from Boston University for leading her astray on an education, slammed Elon Musk as "one of the most unintelligent billionaires" she has ever met.
AOC's comments were part of a 90-minute-long conversation with fans on Instagram.
What really launched New York's most prominent socialist into a flurry of dizzying projection are Musk's ongoing efforts to clean up an out-of-control bureaucracy through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team.
"This dude is probably one of the most unintelligent billionaires I have ever met, or seen, or witnessed," she whinnied.

WASHINGTON — President Trump proposed a US takeover of the Gaza Strip Tuesday night — shortly after suggesting removing “all” Palestinians living there.
“The US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too,” Trump said at a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site, and get rid of the destroyed buildings — level it out and create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area.” (Photo)

Black History Month has been a regular feature of life at Air Force bases around the world for decades. No longer.
A directive from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, headlined "Identity Months Dead at DoD," wipes Black History Month and similar celebrations off the military calendar — starting immediately.
"Our unity and purpose are instrumental to meeting the Department's warfighting mission. Efforts to divide the force — to put one group ahead of another — erode camaraderie and threaten mission execution,” Hegseth said in the directive, formally known as a "guidance."
“Going forward, DoD Components and Military Departments will not use official resources, to include man-hours, to host celebrations or events

On a small hill just north of the Cincinnati city limits sits a sprawling academic campus that, at first glance, you could be forgiven for mistaking for a small college. [Snip] The all-boys school...attracting...sons of Cincinnatians for more than 150 years. [Snip] ...at an elite place like St. X, Vivek stood out... [Snip] ...Vivek Ramaswamy never made this place his home. He’s...someone whose wealth led him to see the globe as his residence. We don’t want the best, smartest technocrat in charge; we want the man who would abhor our city’s exploitation...preserve it for those who have lived, worked, bled, and died to make it what it is.

What the hell did I watch? If anything, the anti-Elon Musk rally last night proved two things: Trump derangement syndrome has been replaced by Elon Musk derangement syndrome. Second, the Democratic Party has no idea how to win elections. The reports of a rudderless, leaderless, and divided organization were confirmed last night. It also showed that they have no message other than ‘me no like this Trump administration,’ of which Elon Musk is a top agent of the president. His Department of Government Efficiency is wiping the table clean, exposing waste and fraud, and getting these lazy DC government workers to quit.

Some of former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama's largest donors have abandoned them amid rumors that the couple's marriage is on the rocks.
The 44th president of the United States is in the process of building his Obama Presidential Center on the south side of Chicago, but at least some of the donors the couple has turned to over the past few years are now backing down, according to the Daily Beast.
Among them is Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky, who bailed the Obamas out in 2022 with $100million each, boosting the year's total to more than $311million.

Andrea Mitchell will step down as full-time anchor on MSNBC on Friday — ending a 17-year stint as host of “Andrea Mitchell Reports” on the Comcast-owned cable news outfit. Mitchell announced last fall that she would step down from her daily MSNBC show after the presidential inauguration but will continue her work as a correspondent for NBC News. The veteran journalist will remain NBC News’ chief foreign affairs correspondent and chief Washington correspondent.

As we reported earlier, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) made it clear the left was going to be ramping up their protests in the streets against President Donald Trump. Their claims are truly unhinged — because special government employees, Elon Musk and his DOGE team, are operating as part of the Executive Office of the President to review government expenditures.
Yet Democrats have been leveling all kinds of crazy accusations against Trump and Musk, especially since Musk has been looking into the hornet's nest that is USAID. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) even accused Musk of "raiding the government, attempting to steal taxpayer money" from the Treasury Department.

NEW YORK— Thinking about backyard chickens as egg prices soar? Think hard, especially in light of the bird flu outbreak.
Keeping home chickens as a pastime has continued to grow since the pandemic. But if eggs are the goal, remember that it takes planning and investment to raise the chickens and protect against bird flu. Costs might go well beyond the nationwide average of $4.15 a dozen that commercial eggs sold for in December.
“Anyone who’s done an ounce of research will very quickly understand that there are no free eggs, there are no inexpensive eggs in keeping chickens,” said Kathy Shea Mormino, a home chicken blogger and author who

Former Florida attorney general and former attorney for Donald Trump, Pam Bondi, sailed through her confirmation hearings. Then, all of a sudden, Democrats dammed up the vote. Upset over President Trump doing what he promised to do as president, they decided to hold Bondi's AG appointment hostage until he did their bidding. But the floodgates opened up on Tuesday night when Bondi won Senate confirmation 54-46. [Tweet]
I don't know if anyone has noticed, but the Democrats' limp-wristed take-their-ball-home strategy isn't working.
Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) promised Democrats that if they didn't allow a vote, he'd make sure their next few nights and weekends
