Hollywood star Ben Stiller has spread the false claim that Elon Musk performed a “double Nazi salute” during an inaugural event for President Donald Trump last month.
In a recent interview with Kara Swisher’s podcast “On,” Ben Stiller addressed his online feud with the Tesla and SpaceX billionaire
“I know he really likes Tropic Thunder,” the actor said. “Great. Good for him. But after the Nazi salute — the double Nazi salute — I’m not just into it. Never was into it.”
The establishment news media ran with the unfounded claim that Musk performed Nazi salutes during a Trump inaugural event at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. on January 20.

The Trump administration is making sure that the people of East Palestine, Ohio, are not forgotten, with Vice President JD Vance visiting the area on the two year anniversary of a toxic train derailment.
Vance was not alone, joined by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, as well as U.S. Sens. Bernie Moreno (R-OH) and Jon Husted (R-OH), newly-confirmed Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, and Vivek Ramaswamy. [Tweets, videos]
“As a lot of you know, one of the first real crises that we confronted when I was United States senator for the great state of Ohio was the train derailment in East Palestine,”

You love to see it.
The Democrats have zero power so they are throwing tantrums and melting down over Trump exercising his executive power.
Tension started building up over the weekend after the Trump Admin put two top leaders at the US Agency for International Development on leave because they refused to give Elon Musk’s DOGE classified documents.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio took over as Acting Director of USAID after the agency’s staffers were told to leave the headquarters overnight.
Rubio said the USAID is supposed to respond to the State Department’s policies and it was refusing to do so.
“It’s supposed to respond to the State Department’s policies. It refuses to do so.

Amid the ramping up of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) round-ups around the country courtesy of the priorities of President Donald Trump, elected Democrat officials in places that have declared themselves "sanctuaries" for illegal immigrants haven't been shy about openly announcing their defiance. (Snip) Murphy, as it turns out, has admittedly taken his #Resistance efforts to a whole new level, strongly implying without outright admitting during a recent sit-down interview that he and his wife, NJ First Lady and failed 2024 Senate candidate Tammy Murphy, may be harboring an illegal immigrant above their garage. Immediately after the statement, he pretty much dared ICE to come after them:

President Donald Trump, just two weeks into his second term, has wasted no time in taking a blowtorch to the United States' traditional approach to foreign policy and diplomacy. Over the weekend, it was the DOGE-led effort to slow the roll of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) that garnered all the headlines as the world came to grips with the fact that Trump is all out of bubblegum.
RedState's Bob Hoge reported Saturday that, in the wake of an attempt by top USAID security officials to stop DOGE personnel from accessing USAID headquarters in Washington, D.C., the Trump administration suspended those officials

On March 4, 2002, as daylight was replacing darkness, Air Force combat controller John Chapman was fighting for his life. He was fighting alone on a snow-covered mountain in Afghanistan called Takur Ghar. The SEAL team he was attached to (codenamed MAKO 30), commanded by Senior Chief Britt Slabinski, had left him for dead. But Chapman wasn’t dead. After battling alone for the better part of an hour in the bitter cold, Chapman was almost out of ammunition. A Chinook (Razor 01) with a QRF of Rangers was 45 seconds from landing. Firing in three directions, Chapman was still killing Al Qaeda and laying down suppressing fire

Over the weekend President Donald Trump made good on his promise to implement tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China.
"The extraordinary threat posed by illegal aliens and drugs, including deadly fentanyl, constitutes a national emergency under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA)," the White House released in a "fact check." "Until the crisis is alleviated, President Donald J. Trump is implementing a 25% additional tariff on imports from Canada and Mexico and a 10% additional tariff on imports from China. Energy resources from Canada will have a lower 10% tariff." [Tweet, video]
"Canada has played a central role in these challenges,

The tragic midair collision of an American Airlines plane and a military helicopter last week in Washington DC has sadly brought DEI hiring practices to the forefront of American politics. It’s one thing, after all, for leftists to practice their dumb, counterproductive, unfair ‘social justice’ policies in the halls of academia or their woke corporations, but it’s quite another to do it when actual lives are at stake, and they’ve been doing it for years. So when dozens are snuffed out in an instant and there’s even the slightest chance DEI could have been a fraction of the culprit for what was obviously a huge series of massive mistakes,

Townhall previously reported how “wokeness” was implemented into the Golden Globe awards last month. This year’s Grammy Awards ceremony was even worse.
Ahead of the awards ceremony, singer Chappell Roan spoke to left-wing organization GLAAD on the red carpet. She went on a spiel about “trans joy” being taken away now that President Donald Trump is in office.
“It’s brutal right now, but trans people have always existed and they will forever exist and they will never, no matter what happens, take trans joy away and that has to be protected more than anything. I would not be here without trans girls. Just know that pop music is thinking about you

I don't know about you, but I need a break from politics and plane crash headlines today, so I'm going to share something a little more positive.
Say what you will about Verizon, but the company stepped up in a big way to assist victims of Hurricane Helene recently, and they asked someone who's a legend in North Carolina to help.
Roy Williams was the head basketball coach at the University of North Carolina from 2003 until 2021, leading the Tar Heels to the Final Four five times and winning three national championship titles. He's also from Western North Carolina. He was born in Marion,

Foreign aid to Ukraine has become a heated debate with Democrats — and a surprising number of Republicans — insisting that it’s essential for bolstering Ukraine’s defenses against Russia. Joe Biden even went so far as to suggest that Republican resistance to additional aid played a role in the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny.
I could easily rattle off more quotes from Biden and congressional Democrats emphasizing just how critical they claim this aid to be. Biden was quick to make sure that Ukraine got even more aid before Trump took office.
Despite the alleged critical nature of this aid, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy

"Can't stop the signal," the phrase popularized in the 2005 sci-fi flick "Serenity" has today been supplanted by "Can't hide the data," courtesy of Data Republican (small-r)'s ever-improving Federal government grant award search. For example, how does a private figure like William Kristol get taxpayer money to fund his political activities?
Answer: it's complicated. But I can show you the way.
Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors received nearly $38 million in grants last year, nearly evenly divided between USAID and the State Department. Because the Rockefellers don't have enough of their own money, I suppose.
RPA gave significant sums (the Data Republican chart did not make clear how much, but I'm still digging
