A few days ago, I took issue with the Doomsday Squad of prominent pearl-clutchers and naysayers — including Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz, director of Jihad Watch and prolific author Robert Spencer, president of the Middle East Forum Daniel Pipes, prolific British writer Melanie Phillips, and the formidable Morton Klein of the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) — all of whom condemned in the strongest language the ceasefire/hostage release deal that then-president-elect Donald Trump insisted on before his January 20, 2025 inauguration.

Why didn't Biden step up and actually act like an American President? Easy.... There's no money in it. It's kind of like the pharmaceutical business....the big money is in the endless treatments, not the cure.

The "What if" play here is a cousin of the "I am waiting for" schtick I posted many moons ago. Just for laughs, I'll reproduce a few: I am waiting for Greg Gutfeld to be invited on The View and I am waiting for Stephen Colbert to make me laugh and I am waiting for NOVA to declare an imminent extinction event involving the Democratic Party and I am waiting for Democrats to admit the push to EVs has never been grounded in reality and I am waiting for Dan Rather to wrap up his career like a tortilla at a street stand in Juarez and I am waiting for Hillary Clinton to go back to Chappaqua and have teas and bake cookies and I am waiting for Old Media to request end-of-life counseling and I am really waiting for Madonna to declare she’s old as hell and she’s not gonna shake it anymore and I am really really waiting for Michelle Obama to say she still loves America even though Kamala lost Anyway, attribution and the rest of the "waitings" are at youhearmebarack.blogspot.com.

In hindsight, Trump is so effective right now precisely because of his four-year sabbatical, and intervening persecution. Those experiences did not just open his eyes...they were ripped open by all the lawfare, weaponized agencies, hyper-wokeism on steroids, and complete ineptitude of every federal department in actually doing their jobs.

Without the cheating that took place in 2020, we would not be where we are today with Trump. Americans needed to see how bad the fulfillment of every Democrat dream would be for them. The democrats FORCED us, through their vote-stealing, to see them more clearly. And they still don’t know why. Pure serendipity

American-Israeli Keith Siegel was released by Hamas Saturday morning in the latest hostage-for-prisoner swaps — making him the first US citizen freed by the terror group under the ongoing cease-fire deal. Siegel was released just before 10:30 a.m. local time when the Red Cross organized his release with Hamas after he spent the last 484 days in captivity. Siegel, 65, an occupational therapist from Chapel Hill, N.C., was kidnapped along with his wife, Aviva, when Hamas raided their home on Kibbutz Kfar Aza on Oct. 7, 2023.

What kind of people are Democrats in terms of human decency? I blogged yesterday about about their execrable behavior to Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. at his Senate confirmation hearings for the Health and Human Services portfolio in the new Trump administration. They bellowed. They bloviated. They interrupted, while Kennedy remained the perfect gentleman in a setting no gentleman should ever have to endur. But they only got worse after I signed off on that piece. Here's what kind of creature Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse is as he preens on the Senate floor, piously intoning "You frighten me":

The piece is purportedly based on National Security Agency (NSA) surveillance of a pair of anonymous terrorists. Two people familiar with the matter told The Federalist the Times will accuse Gabbard, a former Democrat congresswoman from Hawaii, of meeting with then-Lebanese Hezbollah Supreme Leader Hassan Nasrallah on a Middle East trip in 2017. An interesting interview between Maria Bartiromo and recently confirmed CIA Director John Ratcliffe. Within the interview Director Ratcliffe outlines the big picture instructions and direction he has received from President Trump during the second term in office. In essence, the request from President Trump is for all of the IC silo heads to begin completely removing the elements of political manipulation from within the operations they are now going to lead. To accomplish the goal, the ultimate goal, President Trump has instinctively told the incoming IC administrators to regain trust through transparency.

America is headed for a depopulation crisis. That, at least, is the major takeaway of a new report released this month by the Congressional Budget Office. According to the CBO, if current trends continue, American deaths will outnumber American births in a mere eight years. With a united Republican government, we have an opportunity to address this upcoming crisis by building on the economic success of President Trump’s first term and making it easier for Americans to start or expand their families.

Donald Trump’s first week in office was a whirlwind: executive orders on everything from closing the border to ending federal Diversity, Equity and Inclusion mandates. Heads were spinning among the business and political elites, both back home and here at the World Economic Forum, the annual confab of the globalist crowd where I’ve been hanging for the past few days. That’s because the decidedly non-globalist Trump, people here truly believe, could be on the verge of solving maybe the most intractable problem the world faces:

Aviation experts reviewed Wednesday night’s radio transmissions, obtained by The Washington Post, and said that a soldier on the Black Hawk requested “visual separation” so that the helicopter crew could maintain a safe distance from the plane, which it could see. Both times, the request was approved by air traffic control. At 8:48 p.m., about 12 seconds after the second air traffic control tower alert, the helicopter and passenger plane collided.
