Trump's Biggest Accomplishment So Far?
Moving the Overton Window

Donald Trump hit the ground running in 2025 in a way that was impossible in 2017. There are two reasons he has been able to do that: the obvious one is that he has been preparing for this moment for four years and has an excellent team of his choosing at his side; the less obvious one is why he has that team in place and why his opponents are mostly failing to get traction. It's easy to say that Trump got a mandate in 2024 in a way that was more ambiguous in 2016 or that Democrats were blindsided by their election loss and need time

Let's not get two more important things. President Trump saved us from suffering through 4 years of Hillary, then saved us from losing our country by beating Kamala. I thank him for this every single day.

DAVOS - Social media owners should be held responsible for "poisoning society" and eroding democracy with their algorithms, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez told the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday. Sanchez also said he would propose at an EU Council meeting to end anonymity on social media, including by linking users' data to a common EU identity wallet, and by making algorithms more transparent. "The owner of a small restaurant is responsible if their food poisons customers; social media tycoons should be held responsible if their algorithms poison our society," he said. "Let's take back control. Let's make social media great again," he added, mimicking

resident Donald Trump on Wednesday threatened to impose “high levels” of sanctions on Russia and tariffs on imports from there if the country did not reach a settlement to end its nearly three-year-old war against Ukraine. Trump’s warning, made in a social media post on his third day as president, called out Russian President Vladimir Putin by name. “If we don’t make a ‘deal,’ and soon, I have no other choice but to put high levels of Taxes, Tariffs, and Sanctions on anything being sold by Russia to the United States, and various other participating countries,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Let’s get this war,

The federal government’s deportation agency has overturned a Biden-era ban on using words like “illegal” and “alien” when referring to immigrants, The Washington Times has learned. Caleb Vitello, acting director at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, announced the change in a memo to employees on Tuesday. “Moving forward, for all communications materials and for internal and external communications, ICE employees are directed to use the lexicon consistent with the Immigration and Nationality Act and the language historically used by the agency,” he wrote. That revokes a 2021 policy imposed on the orders of former Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas that banned “illegal,” “alien” and “assimilation” as demeaning terms

WASHINGTON — The Justice Department is directing its federal prosecutors to investigate for potential criminal charges any state or local officials who stand in the way of beefed-up enforcement of immigration laws under the Trump administration, according to a memo to the workforce obtained by The Associated Press on Wednesday. The memo, written by acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove, also instructs the Justice Department’s civil division to work with a newly formed Sanctuary Cities Enforcement Working Group to identify state and local laws and policies that “threaten to impede” the Trump administration’s immigration efforts and potentially challenge them in court.

President Trump has implemented a One Flag Policy for American outposts, meaning only the Stars and Stripes can be flown at the buildings. The order was issued by new Secretary of State Marco Rubio and stops American outposts in the states and abroad from flying flags associated with LGBTQ and Black Lives Matter, according to The Washington Free Beacon. “Starting immediately, only the United States of America flag is authorized to be flown or displayed at U.S. facilities, both domestic and abroad, and featured in U.S. government content,” the order says. “The flag of the United States of America united all Americans under the universal principles of justice, liberty and democracy.

The Trump administration took a sledgehammer to progressive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives Tuesday night with executive orders designed to root racialist ideology out of the federal government and American institutions at large. President Donald Trump signed an executive order overturning President Lyndon Johnson’s 1965 executive order creating race-based hiring requirements for federal contractors. Paired with that is a memo from the office of personnel management placing all DEI employees on leave and shutting down DEI programs and offices.

This morning was a good morning, especially for this country. Besides having someone in the White House who's all about this country, his team is rock solid and moving into place. The first one officially onboard is someone I've known for a long time and always thought was meant to do great things serving this nation. I couldn't be prouder or feel better about a cabinet officer. He'll be one helluva Secretary of State. Rubio didn't waste time shaking hands and introducing himself to staffers at the State Department headquarters while chitchatting about pronouns around the coffee machine in the breakroom, either. Ten years ago I never expected that I would become a fervent culture warrior. Sure, I cared about cultural issues, but as a libertarianish conservative, I cared more about taxes, spending, and regulation. I would, with exceptions, accept the idea that culture-war issues were best left to the extremists on both sides because the real ideological war was between socialists and free marketeers. Sometime over the past decade, I realized that without winning the culture war all else would be lost. The neo-Marxists were on a mission to destroy Western culture, and if we didn't save it the world would enter a new totalitarian age

All of Joe Biden's preemptive pardons for the worst political malefactors in recent years are an insult to the rule of law, but one in particular sticks in my craw: Mark Milley. Why? I expect bureaucrats like Anthony Fauci to be ass-covering snakes with a lust for power and disdain for accountability, and I am confident that he will burn in hell and be remembered as the mass murderer that he is. I expect politicians like Liz Cheney, Adam Schiff, and the sc*mbags of the January 6th Committee to be liars who would sacrifice their souls for an extra minute on TV and an additional campaign dollar.

The Trump administration has reportedly reassigned more than a dozen career Justice Department officials, including one who played a central role in pushing for the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago. The new assignments – given to at least 15 longtime officials – will see the federal employees remain within DOJ but in the roles where they are expected to wield less influence on the department’s major decision, the Washington Post reported on Tuesday. Some officials were notified they were being transferred just hours after President Trump was sworn-in on Monday, according to the outlet.

Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld apparently had enough of co-host Jessica Tarlov’s shenanigans about the second Trump presidency and the slew of executive orders that have virtually undone everything Joe Biden did over the past four years. In 36 hours, an entire presidency was revoked. Tarlov asked Gutfeld about birthright citizenship, which led to Gutfeld unleashing an epic tirade against liberal America being incapable of understanding this moment. First, on the immigration questions, Gutfeld aptly noted that you don’t need to like everything in a restaurant to like the establishment. That’s the typical authoritarian tendency of the Left—you must like or comply with everything they say, including candidates.

He said this call to action would be done in the spirit of King’s legacy as a civil rights activist. “Why do we have DEI? On the first full day of Trump's presidency Marianne Budde, the left-wing Episcopal Bishop of Washington, unleashed a wild lecture claiming trans kids were 'fearing for their lives' due to him being in the Oval Office. Trump sat stony-faced in the front row, next to First Lady Melania Trump, as the prelate told him illegal immigrants were not criminals and he shouldn't deport those with children.

The idea of the Prayer Service is to unify the attendees and remind them that we are all one nation under God. It was appalling in every way, no doubt coming from a leftist who speaks endlessly about love, compassion, and unity. Jesse J. Swann, Jr., chief of the Piscataway Conoy Tribe, gave the invocation. Rabbi Susan N. Shankman read from Deuteronomy 10:17-21, and cantor Susan Bortnick offered the Jewish call to prayer. All DEI offices in federal agencies are also being shuttered in the move, which comes after Trump signed an anti-DEI executive order in front of a cheering crowd at his inauguration on Monday.
