President Joe Biden declared during his farewell address that an “oligarchy” of the “ultra-wealthy” and powerful is forming that “threatens our entire democracy.” Joe Biden issued his warning while speaking to the American public from the Oval Office for the final time. (X Video) “…I want to warn the country of some things that give me great concern … and that’s a dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a very few ultra-wealthy people,” Biden said. “Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power, and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedoms, and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead,”

Of course Joe had no problem with ultra-rich George Soros spending billions to influence elections and disrupt society. Joe even gave George a medal last week. Joe only has problems with rich people who support Republicans.

I doubt too many people watched his long awaited goodbye anyway, most of us can't wait till the corrupt moron is gone! Good riddance to the worst president in the history of our country.

It's such a great thing listening to all the final remarks and ceremonies of the Biden team. It's the countdown of a really bad time in the life of the country with a bright light on the other end coming on January 20. One of my favorite things so far is how despondent Jill Biden appears, now that they will be out of power. It's so humorous that Biden's Department of Defense even gave him and Jill "Distinguished Public Service" medals so they could feel like they did something. Nothing says Soviet Union-like but awarding yourself a medal.

Sometimes, the jokes write themselves. On Thursday, Politico congressional reporter Nicholas Wu posted a letter to social media platform X dated to the same day from the Congressional Progressive Staff Association — which is 1,500 members strong. In it, the association asks both House and Senate leaders to implement a shorter workday at 32 hours a week. Seriously: (X} The entire letter is roughly two and a half pages and reads like something written by a child trying to convince his mother that, on the contrary, its actually very beneficial to have ice cream before dinner.

It all seems as if it’s almost timed to coincide with the return of Donald Trump’s return to power. The failure of progressive leadership has been exposed in a way that it has never been before as disastrous wildfires wipe out entire neighborhoods in deep-blue Los Angeles, a result not only of natural forces like unusually high winds and dry conditions but by the epic breakdown of any real leadership in the Golden State and the misplaced priorities of elected officials like LA Mayor Karen Bass and camera-addicted Gov. Gavin Newsom.

In his final remarks to the American people on Wednesday night, President Joe Biden launched a parting shot at the tech “oligarchy” that he says is taking over the country. Such arrogant and hypocritical remarks should be met with scorn by all those who languished under the program of social media censorship for the previous four years — a program largely forced on tech companies by the Biden White House, as an example of the very kind of merging of government and corporate power Biden now claims to oppose. “Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights
