NEW ORLEANS - Authorities held a press conference Thursday morning (Jan. 2), providing updates on the Bourbon Street terror attack that claimed the lives of 14 victims and injured 35 others early New Year’s Day. FBI Deputy Director Christopher Raia confirmed that 14 victims died in the attack, along with the suspect, Shamsud Din Jabbar, bringing the total to 15 fatalities. “This was a premeditated, evil act,” Raia told reporters. Officials revealed that Jabbar posted five videos between 1:20 a.m. and 3:02 a.m. on New Year’s Day, proclaiming support for ISIS. In the first video, Raia says Jabbar expressed a desire to kill his friends and family, but ultimately desired

#3 could very well be correct; but.....the corrupt actions of the FBI during the past few years not to mention Wray's chosen tendency to obfuscate when before any committee where he's questioned makes it extremely difficult to believe ANYTHING that the FBI may report. If they are bothered by that, they should remember that they brought it on themselves. Right now I'm following advice from #1 except I would cut that grain in half.

The loose-knit semi-autonomy of sleeper cells makes them appear to act alone, although they are more together on outlook and overall strategy than a lot of armies are. Kind of like a flash mob military. I'm not convinced that we can rule out collaboration and coordination, yet.

The speaker was unable to stave off no-votes from multiple members, including Representatives Thomas Massie (R., Ky.), Keith Self (R., Tex.) and Ralph Norman (R., S.C). A half-dozen members who were undecided about Johnson leading up to the first round of counting ended up not responding to the roll-call until the end, when the clerk called on them again and every single one of them voted for Johnson.

An estimated 16.4% of total breast cancer cases are linked to drinking alcohol. There are about 100,000 alcohol-related cancer cases and about 20,000 alcohol-related cancer deaths in the U.S. each year, the report found. Alcohol is the third-leading cause of cancer in the U.S., after tobacco and obesity.
