Four Canadian ministers publicly unveiled on Tuesday a border security plan they had privately presented to U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's incoming administration, with an emphasis on surveillance, intelligence and technology. Canadian ministers had an "encouraging" meeting with Trump's border czar Tom Homan, Public Safety, Finance and Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc told reporters. (snip) LeBlanc and his colleagues announced Tuesday a plan to beef up the U.S.-Canada border with helicopters, drones, surveillance towers and sniffer dogs, as well as a "joint strike force" to target transnational organized crime.

Comments:

Amusing that Canada is now claiming to be worried about the illegals swarming north from the US. All while they send reminders to their Pakistani and Mexican aliens that winters down south are so much warmer.

Maybe DHS could assist by putting up a fence or two in Vermont. Illegals crossing there don't even have to climb anything or get their feet wet.

How liberal media of them to call this ‘appeasing Trump’ instead of ‘decided to do their job protecting the border but only after being threatened with a 25% tariff’. Lol

What Canada really needs to do is end their %100 tariff against US products. Talking about the border is just a distraction.

So canada is gonna use drones and helicopters to patrol the northern border...perhaps they can use some of ours terrorizing the people of New Jersey....just as a friendly gesture...one country to another...it's all a political play...and Trudeau is finished with his people...he stepped on too many people with his rulings...and Canadians are not happy with him...he thought he was Castro and could intimidate the people...and they would comply...surprise!!

It is not native born Canadians in any numbers who are illegally entering the USA by unlawfully crossing the border. What the Government of Canada really needs to do to stop the raising number of people unlawfully crossing the border is to stop allowing huge numbers of Third World origin people to enter Canada in the first place, who have been using Canada as essentially a waypoint to then sneak into the USA by way of the undefended border.

A top-ranking US Air Force officer has revealed that the upcoming deployment of the new F-15EX aircraft at Kadena Air Base, Japan, will be aimed at countering China’s “essentially bully” behavior towards its neighbors. Brig. Gen. Nicholas Evans, Commander of the 18th Wing at Kadena Air Base, discussed the upcoming deployment in a recent interview and highlighted the evolving security challenges posed by Beijing. The F-15EX Eagle II, an upgraded version of the iconic F-15, is expected to boost the US’s regional air capabilities. The aircraft’s sophisticated radar, weapons systems, and upgraded performance make it a powerful asset in countering China’s growing military presence.

Biden's team hired a vocal coach, put other officials into roles usually occupied by the president, scrapped meetings on his 'bad days,' and avoided calls with other politicians, according to an explosive report in The Wall Street Journal. It exposed an extensive, deliberate and years-long cover-up that also saw the administration gaslighting those who dared to claim Biden's abilities had deteriorated since he was Barack Obama's vice president.

The NYPD’s highest-paid employee — who shoveled in more than $400,000 last year — filed for retirement this week and then was suspended amid an internal affairs probe into her astronomical overtime, The Post has learned. Lt. Quathisha Epps will retire just shy of 20 years with the department, sources said — an early exit that will impact her pension and cost her a $12,000-a-year supplement for cops who reach the two-decade mark. Leaving money on the table is seemingly uncharacteristic for Epps, who raised eyebrows by pulling in roughly $204,000 in overtime last year for her administrative job in NYPD Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey’s office, payroll records show.

The emissions, clocked by GQ Electronics' Geiger Counter World Map, were detected near the Bronx and Upper West Side Wednesday. The application shows a radiation reading of 1048 counts-per-minute (CPM), i.e. how many particles were detected, in the Bronx: higher than normal background radiation. The average person is typically exposed to background radiation that measures around five to 60 CPM, though CPM varies with sensor devices, according to NASA. And, on the the Upper West Side, the app's reading measured a still high 175 CPM.
