Federal authorities have arrested a leftist Democratic city councilwoman in Boston after being accused of defrauding the city and giving kickbacks to a family member on her staff. Tania Fernandes Anderson, who immigrated to the U.S. illegally from Cape Verde, was charged by the Justice Department with five counts of wire fraud and one count of stealing federal funds, including a charge for providing a $13,000 bonus to an unnamed relative she employed at city hall. The two allegedly shared the money. “The charges stem from an alleged kickback scheme she orchestrated to obtain several thousand dollars in taxpayer money

During Friday’s broadcast of FNC’s “Hannity,” Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz predicted the New York City jury hearing the Daniel Penny case would remain deadlocked, possibly resulting in a loss for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Dershowitz said such a loss, coupled with a loss in his prosecution against President-elect Donald Trump, would likely result in a lost reelection bid. According to Dershowitz, Bragg was the “worst district attorney” in modern New York history.“Professor Dershowitz, in this kind of a dynamic, when you’ve got even at one point, he told the jury that it would have to be another jury, if they couldn’t

President-elect Donald Trump met with Prince William after the ceremonial reopening of the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris on Saturday, calling the Prince of Wales a “great man.” The two shook hands and spoke briefly at the ceremony, and met after the event for about 40 minutes at the residence of the British ambassador in Paris, where the 42-year-old Prince of Wales, still sporting a beard he grew during summer vacation, met Trump at the door, and said “Great to see you.” As both men stood in the foyer and posed for photos, Trump praised the British throne’s heir apparent, saying, “Great man this one. He’s going to do a fantastic job.”

We are so back. President Trump on Saturday arrived to France to attend the reopening of Notre Dame after the cathedral was damaged by a fire in 2019. Trump proudly announced he would be attending the reopening of Notre Dame. “It is an honor to announce that I will be traveling to Paris, France, on Saturday to attend the re-opening of the Magnificent and Historic Notre Dame Cathedral, which has been fully restored after a devastating fire five years ago. President Emmanuel Macron has done a wonderful job ensuring that Notre Dame has been restored to its full level of glory, and even more so.

Before he even assumed office, President-elect Donald Trump met with world leaders to establish early lines of communication. He set the tone for the successive four years of his administration. The meetings came before the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral, five years after it was set on fire. Trump showcased his unorthodox approach to foreign relations, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties, asserting America's interests, and laying the groundwork for his America First agenda. Trump and world leaders discussed various topics, including defense and global security. His blunt style indeed left an unmistakable impression on the worldwide stage.

The re-opening of the Notre Dame Cathedral, which suffered extensive fire damage in 2019, occurred on Saturday, and dozens of world leaders were on hand for the festivities. There was one notable absence, though. President Joe Biden was nowhere to be found.Instead, Jill Biden showed up with her daughter. That alone spurred questions given the president has long claimed to be a "devout Catholic." Yet, he couldn't be bothered to show up for a once-in-a-lifetime event that other world leaders flocked to? Of course, while the White House will likely claim a scheduling conflict (there was nothing on the president's schedule for Saturday), we all know the real reason.

Biden waited until Obama and Pelosi forced him off the ticket in July and swapped him out for Kamala Harris shortly before the DNC Convention. Kamala Harris blew through $1.5 billion in donor money in 3 months and still lost in a landslide against President Trump.

We may as well drop "President-elect" Donald Trump, which I'm still not tired of writing, and start using "Acting President Donald Trump," because while doddering old Joe Biden is falling asleep in his chair in Africa, Donald Trump is out meeting with world leaders - and they are anxiously awaiting their turn to meet with him. That's what presidents do. In the latest example, Acting President Trump attended the re-opening of Notre Dame cathedral in Paris on Saturday, and did so alongside France's President Emmanuel Macron, where the two exchanged friendly remarks. No one seems sure who first said it, maybe Joseph Goebbels, but in any case, it’s a tried-and-tested Alinskyite tactic: accuse your enemy of what you’re doing. Barack Obama is a practiced expert at this, and he gave a master class in it on Thursday at his Obama Foundation’s Orwellian-named Democracy Forum. With some notable and revealing difficulty in getting the words out, Obama accused the Republicans of doing everything that the Democrats have been doing for the past few years: rigging elections, weaponizing the justice system, and trying to ensure that they would remain in power on an indefinite basis. Whatever can be said of Barack Obama, the man

It is abundantly clear today we have not lived up to that idea, but we have not fully walked away from it either,” Biden said. Biden said slavery was “cruel, brutal, dehumanizing,” an “original sin” that “haunted America and cast a long shadow ever since.”
