Kamala Harris Drinks Drunkenly from the

Okay, yes — Kamala Harris was totally bombed (on something, whether it be drink or pills) when she delivered her Thanksgiving valediction yesterday, right? We can all admit that? You “have the same power [intoxicated pause] that you did before November 5” to recognize that, right? Yes, it’s embarrassing — the only thing harder to conceive from a professional messaging operation than the video is the DNC staffer who said, “That’s gold, let’s roll with it.” (Imagine the outtakes.) But the hour before vacation is late, and I prefer mercy.

Grew up among alcoholics. I know drunk, even if it is just a little bit drunk, when I see it. So who posted this video? Someone who wants to cut her off at the knees before CA gov race or POTUS 2028? Inquiring minds want to know. It was not a good look. Either alcohol or pills. What a mess.

Apple Releases Shocking Pro-Family Christmas Ad 2 replies

Apple released a pro-family ad reflecting on the joys of fatherhood to kick off the Christmas season after Jaguar’s recent ad was accused of peddling wokeness: The ad is shot mainly through the eyes of a loving father who struggles with hearing loss. It traces back over memories of his young daughter throughout her childhood, but they are muffled in sound because of his handicap. In present day while the family is exchanging gifts around the Christmas tree, his daughter, whom he watched grow up, receives a guitar and begins to sing and play “Our House” by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.

“Our leader forever” was a slogan one often saw in Syria during the era of President Hafez al-Assad, father of today’s Syrian president. The prospect that the dour, stern Syrian leader would live forever was a source of dark humor for many of my Syrian friends when I lived and worked in Aleppo in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Hafez al-Assad died in June 2000. He wasn’t immortal after all. His regime, however, lives on under the leadership of his son Bashar al-Assad. There were moments when the Bashar regime’s survival looked in doubt. When the so-called Arab Spring rolled

BEIRUT — Thousands of Syrian insurgents took over most of Aleppo on Saturday, establishing positions in the country’s largest city and controlling its airport before expanding their shock offensive to a nearby province. They faced little to no resistance from government troops, according to fighters and activists. A war monitor, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said the insurgents led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham seized control of Aleppo International airport, the first international airport to be controlled by insurgents. The fighters claimed they seized the airport and postefd pictures from there. Thousands of fighters also moved on, facing almost no defense from government forces,
British Prime Minister Admits Mass Migration

British prime minister Keir Starmer accused his predecessors of intentionally designing a “one-nation experiment in open borders” after the latest statistics revealed that more than 900,000 migrants entered the U.K. last year. The Labour Party leader laid the blame on the Conservative Party for the record-high numbers, claiming the opposition failed Brexit voters on its vow to curtail illegal immigration. Brexit, which authorized the U.K.’s exit from the European Union, narrowly passed in June 2016 and formally took effect in January 2020. “Time and again the Conservative Party promised they would get the numbers down. Time and again they failed, and now the chorus of excuses has begun,”

The Washington Examiner quotes Della Volpe, polling director at Harvard’s Kennedy School Institute of Politics and a loyal Democrat, on what the Democrats need to do to try to regain power. Much of what Volpe says is sensible, but I want to focus on just one point: his identification of the Democratic Party with democracy. You see it all the time. Loss of faith in the Democratic Party equals loss of faith in democracy, attacks on the Democratic Party equal attacks on democracy, and so on. Volpe writes: Millions of Americans aren’t shifting right — they’re walking away.

Officially, Donald Trump will not be inaugurated until January 20, but his impact to-date and his actions are already demonstrating early governance and how he will proceed as President. He makes no apologies for his plans, and he’s essentially started his term. How can anyone dispute his selection of Tom Homan as Border Czar? Homan has made it clear that he will begin to protect our national security by removing criminals and the cartels. And he’s warned anyone who wants to stop him and protect these illegal migrants will be committing a felony:

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau flew to Florida on Friday to have dinner with President-elect Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago club after Trump threatened to impose sweeping tariffs on Canadian products. Trump threatened to impose tariffs on products from Canada and Mexico if they don’t stop what he called the flow of drugs and migrants across their borders. He said he would impose a 25% tax on all products entering the U.S. from Canada and Mexico as one of his first executive orders. A person familiar with the details called it a “positive wide-ranging dinner that lasted three hours.”

I'll believe it when I see it. Not that the situation doesn't call for a rational change of tactics and strategy for a proxy army that has wrought utter destruction upon itself and now has no allies worth relying on any longer. That's precisely the situation in which Hamas and what's left of its leadership finds itself. After Iran cut bait in Lebanon, this makes all sorts of sense, but Hamas has rarely acted rationally except in pursuit of total genocide of the Jews: One proposal discussed by some Hamas leaders would permit Israel to maintain a presence — at least temporarily — in the border region between Egypt and Gaza,

In January 2020, Virginia ratified the Equal Rights Amendment, becoming the final state needed to add about 170 million women and girls to our Constitution. All constitutional requirements have been met, according to the American Bar Association. And yet. For the past four years, America has been in a constitutional crisis. In 2020, for the first time in our nation’s history, publication of a fully ratified amendment was stopped by the executive branch. Why is the ratified ERA still not added to the Constitution?

The proposed bill would allow people over 18 with less than six months to live to request and be provided with help to end their lives, subject to safeguards and protections. The vote came after hours of emotional debate that saw personal stories of loss and suffering shared.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta issued a list of suggestions Nov. 26 for shoppers to avoid scams during the holiday season and requested consumers file reports about department stores that lack gender-neutral children’s sections. State law, established by the passage of Assembly Bill 1084 in 2021, which took effect at the beginning of 2024, requires department stores with at least 500 employees across California locations to offer children’s sections that do not separate items based on gender. “By requiring large retailers to maintain a gender-neutral section, AB 1084 makes it more difficult for these retailers to engage in gender-based pricing discrimination and reduces the imposition of gender stereotypes on children,”

State Sen. In September, Kreuger spoke with City and State New York.com about a four-state secession from the union if Trump won, where New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Connecticut would join Canada:

Bill Clinton already wrote and sold his memoir, the imaginatively named, My Life, written and published back in 2005, but like his wife, one memoir is never enough and so Bill has another one, Citizen, that chronicles all the exciting stuff he’s been up to for the last two decades. Hillary Clinton is on her fourth memoir (believe it or not) and Bill needs to pull his weight here. The trouble is that while Bill’s memoir 1.0 was at least justified because he was the president of the United States, he hasn’t done anything since then, unlike Hillary, who really didn’t do much, but at least is out there

So much so that a list of presidential contenders for 2028 includes the name Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). If nothing else, The Hill column ranking potential Democrat contenders for 2028 shows that the resistance party has little to offer on the bench when it comes to knocking off the Republicans. The staff, however, has apparently reached a new low in terms of morale, launching into unhappy groupchats about not getting their goodbye pictures.
