President Trump: The First Commander-in-Chief
of Space

Original Article

Posted By: ladydawgfan, 11/18/2024 12:24:16 AM

Space has become a critical domain for national security and is now seen as a potential “warfighting domain.” Once considered a benign and cooperative environment, it has evolved into a battleground for global power dynamics. In response, during his first term, President Trump revitalized the National Space Council, inaugurated Space Force, and championed initiatives like the Artemis Accords and NASA’s Lunar ambitions. Additionally, through his relationship with Elon Musk and SpaceX, Trump aims to accelerate the development of U.S. space capabilities, ensuring the nation stays ahead of rivals like Russia and China.

Comments:

Informative article. However, I'm truly surprised that Dementia Joe didn't try to cancel the Space Force or the space program altogether simply because President Trump worked on it.

I heard the Space Force theme song being sung by an Iowa high school chorus, their young strong voices were accompanied by only a piano. It was worthy of a John Philip Sousa march.

Senator-elect Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that he did not overstate President-elect Donald Trump’s collusion with Russia during the 2016 campaign. Host Jake Tapper said, “I’m looking at these nominees, Tulsi Gabbard to be director of National Intelligence possibly Kash Patel to be head of the FBI. Gaetz at DOJ, RFK Jr. at HHS and others and obviously he is bringing a group of people to disrupt. I mean, that is what Speaker Johnson said. I’m wondering about how much anybody in Washington is is being introspective at all about why there is this kind of opening for disruptors, if not necessarily these individuals.

Two of the best pieces of advice I've ever received in my life came from my brother, who gifted me with these gems: "Never pass up a free meal or a free beer," and "Always be careful where you stick your finger next." I have passed those tidbits on myself from time to time, and I'm going to have to add "Never pay any serious attention to modern art" to the list. Why? At Sotheby's in New York, the latest iteration of a work of art consisting of a banana duct-taped to a wall is expected to fetch a million dollars at auction. Yes, really. The yellow banana fixed to the white wall

If you don’t live in a deep blue area, you might not understand just how hostile most of the population in some of those places has been to Trump—even the idea of Trump—since the moment he came down the golden escalator in 2015. Wear a MAGA hat in a place like Los Angeles, and you might lose friends, your family, your job, and you’d face constant confrontation. Put a Trump sticker on your car, and start saving up for all the repairs you’ll soon be facing because it will be vandalized as soon as you walk away. But that could be changing since President-elect Donald Trump cruised to a landslide victory

Everywhere you look, Democrats are highly distressed by Donald Trump's magnificent victory and the GOP’s trifecta sweep. With honest reporting, however, missing from mainstream media for more than two decades, Democrats might have avoided their current pain and gnashing of teeth. Gaslighting as the Norm An honest press would have reported that Kamala Harris was ducking key questions, botching interviews, and offering word salad responses. Worse, she learned nothing from one interview to the next, and she was unprepared to address fundamental issues while her handlers ignored these deficiencies.

Does truth mean anything anymore? Facts? Actual points of evidence that say precisely what something is? Is there zero responsibility by those who have platforms, readers, viewers, listeners to represent what they discuss as true? I only ask because, and I’m not sure many have noticed, but as the left continues to reel from its loss in the presidential race, and as they continue to try to steal the U. S. Senate seat in Pennsylvania, they are also getting very loose with their tongues. Last week a former congressman, turned failed Presidential candidate, turned failed talk show host,

No one can claim that there isn't an obesity epidemic in America. It's been the topic of countless news stories and has spawned all kinds of futile movements to get Americans healthier. Now that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is going to be in a position to do something about it, and I mean really do something about the root causes, the mainstream is doing everything they can to downplay the crisis in favor of undermining the movement to make America healthy again. This past week, the New York Times lamented how "Boxes of brightly colored breakfast cereals, vivid orange Doritos and dazzling blue M&Ms

A bizarre attack on the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence in Washington DC earlier this year was like “an emotional buzzsaw,” as she pushed for the perpetrators to get the “maximum possible sentence,” according to America’s archivist. Colleen Shogan, who also serves as the head of the National Archives and Records Administration, spoke in court Tuesday before a federal judge at the sentencing of a career climate protestor who, along with a partner, helped smear red paint on display cases holding the historic documents. The Valentine’s Day incident was a willful assault on “our shared past and the beliefs which unite us as Americans,”

It’s high time to shatter the myth of Nancy Pelosi as a master strategist. Nobody deserves more blame than the ridiculously self-titled “speaker emerita” for the Democrats’ $1 billion electoral collapse. Under her ruthless leadership, her party lost the White House, the House, the Senate and the popular vote. You can’t say that enough. Voters rejected the Dems coast to coast, even in Pelosi’s deepest-blue home city of San Francisco, which saw a 7-point swing to Donald Trump. She’s the only speaker in history to have lost control of the House twice. She’s finished.

PITTSBURGH and BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Democratic county officials admit they are breaking the law to overturn Pennsylvania’s Senate election for losing Sen. Bob Casey. “I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country,” said Bucks County Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia, who voted Thursday to count deficient provisional ballots a Pennsylvania Supreme Court order barred, in which voters did not sign in one of two necessary boxes. “People violate laws any time they want,” Ellis-Marseglia said. “So for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention. There’s nothing more important than counting votes.”

President Biden has given the OK to lift restrictions that will allow Ukraine to use U.S.-provided long-range weapons to strike deep into Russian territory, a U.S. official confirmed to CBS News on Sunday. The move is a significant change to U.S. policy in the ongoing Ukraine-Russia conflict. The easing of restrictions would allow Kyiv to use the Army Tactical Missile System, or ATACMS, to hit targets inside Russia. The move also comes as some 10,000 North Korean troops were sent to Kursk near Ukraine's northern border to help Russian forces retake territory. The White House National Security Council declined to

President Biden has reportedly given Ukraine permission to deploy US-supplied longe-range missiles to attack targets in Russian territory just weeks before President-elect Donald Trump takes office. Ukraine said it plans to take advantage of the policy change within days. The dramatic shift in policy comes as Ukraine has faced setbacks on the battlefield and after months of requests by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to allow Ukraine’s military to use US weapons to hit Russian military targets far from its border. Trump had pledged that he will end the war once he takes office in January. “As President Trump has said on the campaign trail, he is the only person who
