My first reaction when I heard Joe Biden was calling Donald Trump supporters “garbage” is that he (Biden) wanted to sabotage, consciously or unconsciously, Kamala Harris’ campaign. I could be wrong, but, as the Zen Buddhists say, “First thought, best thought.” There are other possible explanations, such as he was desperate to stay relevant in the final hours of his presidency and just happened to make his dopey comment at the moment Ms. Harris was making her supposed “important closing argument,” such as it was. Or he is just so terminally gaga that he doesn’t know where he is or what he’s doing? But there’s nothing new in that.

The White House press office engaged in a “breach of protocol” when it altered the transcript of President Biden’s “garbage” remark about Donald Trump’s supporters Tuesday over the objection of the administration’s stenographer’s office, according to an internal email. Stenographers heard the 81-year-old president tell a Latino group — in response to a comedian’s comments about Puerto Rico being “a floating island of garbage” during Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden Sunday — that “the only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.” The White House press office, however, added an apostrophe to “supporter’s,” suggesting that Biden was only attacking the comedian.

Because wrong track voters are more apt to vote for the party out of power – i.e., the Trump campaign – than the party “in power.” Second, President Joe Biden’s average approval rating is still at a dismal 41% nationally, with a higher 56% of Americans saying they disapprove of his job performance. Bob Woodward, a past master at the art of marketing bestsellers by reflecting the Democrat zeitgeist, tries his best in his latest offering, War, to put a good face on Biden-Harris incompetence in the Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Israel conflicts. Although Donald Trump was not a government actor during these events, War inserts vignettes purporting, unsuccessfully, to contrast Trump’s unfitness with Biden’s putative steadiness. Woodward tries but fails to claim that it is Trump’s alleged instability that threatens our fragile world, and not the ineptitude of the senile, perpetually unintelligent Biden. But to his great credit, the dogged reporter in Woodward overcomes the mediocre polemicist.

If you’re a fan of inflation, vote for Kamala Harris because you’ll get plenty more of it if she takes power. As we all know, prices have shot through the roof under the Harris-Biden regime, and no amount of good economic news can take away the fact that virtually all of us feel poorer than we did four years ago. They can screech about Bidenomics all they want and tell voters we're too stupid to realize how great things are, but a trip to the grocery store brings reality home to all but the ultra-wealthy.

As the 2024 presidential election approaches, major tech leaders are making efforts to connect with former President Donald Trump, including Google CEO Sundar Pichai, who Trump called a “great guy, very smart.” The Hill reports that in a major shift from their often contentious relationship during his first term, the CEOs of some of the world’s most prominent technology companies are now reaching out to former President Donald Trump as the 2024 election draws near. Tech giants are seemingly looking to mend fences and potentially secure a more favorable position should he return to the White House.

An army of unelected bureaucrats stands athwart American progress and freedom, yelling “Stop” — which presidential candidate will beat the blob and unleash prosperity and dynamism again? It’s a no-brainer: Donald Trump. Just look at the utterly dismal regulatory record of the Biden-Harris years. Mountains of red tape. Metastasis of the HR mindset into every corner of the government. The asphyxiating climate has gotten so deadly that JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon just blasted it at a bankers’ conference in Manhattan: “It’s time to fight back.

The annual UN resolution disapproving of the Cuba embargo came up. And the entire world, or nearly all of it, took a firm stand in favor of mandatory trade with a brutal Communist tyranny. The UN General Assembly voted 187 – 2 in favor of its pro-Communist resolution urging the “necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States of America against Cuba,” The 2 were America and Israel. (Moldova, for some reason, abstained.) Every other country, our allies in Europe, even seemingly Ukraine, voted against America. It’s a truly disgraceful showing. Making it likely even more disgraceful is that the Marshall Islands and Micronesia voted against America

Things could, and did, get worse for America after January 6th. I served in the Trump administration but I withdrew my support from the president after that dark day. Four years later, I’m back. And here’s why. The Biden-Harris administration weakened our power, our pocketbooks and our values. After living under this reality for nearly four years, there is no choice: We need former President Donald J. Trump back in the White House.

Prompted by Rep. Bryan Steil to act, the feckless Wisconsin Elections Commission will meet on Friday to issue guidance clarifying the use of noncitizen IDs at the polls. Steil, chairman of the House Administration Committee, which oversees federal election law, sent a letter late last week demanding WEC clarify whether swing state Wisconsin’s Limited Term and Non-Domiciled driver’s licenses and ID cards may be used as proof of residency to register to vote. Spoiler Alert: The temporary visitor IDs generally issued to noncitizens can be used to vote, according to proposed guidance from members of the Elections Commission.

Los Angeles descended into chaos Wednesday night as belligerent baseball fans set a bus on fire while others clashed with cops and looters ran amok following the Dodgers’ World Series victory. The Los Angeles Police Department shared footage of a mob of looters running in and out of a boarded-up Nike store carrying merchandise and throwing it into cars parked outside the store about four miles from Dodger Stadium just after 11 p.m. The LAPD said it was “aware of the looting” and has made arrests but did not disclose how many suspects were taken into custody.

On Wednesday, The Gateway Pundit’s Patty McMurray published a shocking report from Michigan. Election integrity analysts claim they have proof of 208,075 ballot cases by 82,674 voters. This comes out to 125,428 extra votes that were case and counted in Michigan. This follows an incident in September 2024 in Michigan when we reported that data expert Tim Vetter, as well as Phani Mantravadi of Check My Vote, identified 6,126 duplicate votes on the August primary voter rolls. Later, 6,017 of these duplicate votes curiously disappeared from the voter rolls after our reporting, while 109 duplicate votes remained in the October vote history.

In my last column, I wrote about America after a second Trump administration, but now comes the horror show – America after a first Kamala Harris administration, which is actually a second Biden administration, which is really the third Obama administration, only dumber. It's unclear whether America can survive it. We're strong. We're resilient. But the infection is deep and when you get gangrene, the only answer is to start cutting. Don't underestimate the damage someone who is stupid, leftist, and fully convinced of her own greatness can do even to a country like the United States of America. President Harris will be in an unmitigated disaster.

And for her last act, Kamala Harris is posing as a champion of democracy. 'It is time to turn the page on the drama and the conflict, the fear and division,' the Vice President declared in her closing argument on Tuesday night, while standing at the site of Donald Trump's infamous January 6 speech. Well, fair enough. You'll get no argument from me that Trump has acted admirably. The former president may not have committed a crime or intentionally incited the Jan 6 mob, but his reckless 'stolen election' theories were dry kindling to the flaming passions that burned around the Capitol that day. Trump has no satisfactory excuse for that.

You probably knew it was coming. President Donald Trump -- the master of trolling -- would have a good response to Joe Biden calling Trump supporters "garbage." Indeed, he did, sitting in a garbage truck on Wednesday, calling out Biden for insulting millions of Americans and having a lot of fun in the process. He already showed he has a talent for this with his McDonald's success. That was about serving the people. This time it's about cleaning up Washington. What a great symbolic move it is. How great was it? CNN even had to cut away to cover it, rather than talking about Kamala Harris.
