Over 200 American outlets under USA Today parent company Gannett will not back candidates “in presidential or national races,” according to USA Today. “None of the USA TODAY Network publications are endorsing in presidential or national races,” a spokesperson for USA Today, Lark-Marie Antón, said in an email to The Hill on Monday.
On its website, Gannett describes the USA Today Network as “the largest local-to-national publishing and digital media organization in the country,” with “USA TODAY, our national flagship brand … at the center of the network, surrounded by hundreds of local media properties reporting on the stories and cultural moments happening in our communities.”

If Trump closes with another battleground state surge, 2024 will be a blowout.
Improbable? As of Oct. 20, Trump already held leads in all seven battleground states. And in 2020 and 2016, he closed with substantial surges in these seven states. If he only partially replicates his prior performances, it won’t matter what happens elsewhere. Seven battleground states (Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin) will decide 2024’s presidential outcome — just like they did in 2020 and 2016.

Soros-backed Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner sued Elon Musk for his $1 million giveaway.
Rather than tackling the soaring crime, violent carjackings and retail theft in Philadelphia, Krasner is using resources to go after Elon Musk.
As previously reported, Elon Musk promised to give away $1 million each day until the November election to those who sign his petition supporting the U.S. Constitution.
At a packed rally in Pennsylvania earlier this month, Elon Musk wasted no time in following through on that promise, awarding a $1 million check to John Dreher, one of the attendees.

Far-left USA Today announced on Monday that it will not endorse a presidential candidate in the 2024 election.
This makes USA Today one of the latest far-left major publications to steer clear of backing Vice President Kamala Harris and running mate Tim Walz, joining an unprecedented media shift that includes outlets like The Washington Post and Los Angeles Times.
A spokesperson for USA Today told The Daily Beast that rather than endorsing a candidate, the paper plans to “provide readers with the facts that matter and the trusted information they need to make informed decisions.”
But this sudden detour away from an endorsement speaks volumes about the lack of support Harris is facing.

As the presidential campaign between former President Donald Trump and incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris draws to a close, voters are finalizing their decisions. Here are 10 reasons not to vote for Kamala Harris.First, her administration’s reckless borrowing and spending brought us the worst inflation of the last 40 years, and added $7.9 trillion to the national debt. That inflation has wreaked havoc over everyday Americans and their attitudes toward the economy – so much so that a survey released earlier this summer reveals that two-thirds of Americans say they are “falling behind due to the high cost of living,”

America is at a crossroads. The radical left, led by Kamala Harris, is determined to push our nation into the depths of socialism and communism. If we don’t act now, our beloved country will never be the same. A Kamala presidency would be the final nail in the coffin for America. The fact that you’re reading this probably means that you and I share the same strong feelings about America. A profound love for our country – and a lot of concern that we’re headed in a dramatically bad direction.

Three score years ago this Sunday, one of the seminal moments in modern American politics occurred in the service of a presidential campaign that would suffer a resounding defeat. Ronald Reagan’s “A Time for Choosing” broadcast endorsing Barry Goldwater’s unsuccessful candidacy did far more than herald Reagan’s arrival on the national stage. Somewhat paradoxically given its title, Reagan’s speech holds a principled timelessness that makes it as relevant today as it was six decades ago.

This lawfare against Donald Trump has been their beginning argument, middle argument, and ending argument. It obviously has backfired completely. The whole goal was to make sure that Donald Trump would be imprisoned, bankrupted, so discouraged, so distracted by being off the campaign trail dealing with these various examples of lawfare from Democrat prosecutors at the federal and state and local level, that he wouldn't win.
Well, he's about to win, most likely, and it is a stunning rejection by the American people of that lawfare campaign.

For a candidate who has inexplicably changed her view on every major issue, perhaps it’s not surprising that Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign has also done a complete 180.
What began this summer with an explosion of “joy” and “good vibes” has suddenly morphed into something very different, now that we're closing in on the election. Democrats seized on Harris’ happy persona and her big smile, and for a while, that seemed to be enough to put her within striking distance of former President Donald Trump. It also helped that she wasn’t her boss, President Joe Biden, whose decline had become impossible to cover up.

Americans should prepare for “unrest’ if former President Donald Trump completes the greatest political comeback in modern American politics, Democrats told the Wall Street Journal on Monday.
The potential for Democrats to perpetrate political violence undermines their narrative that Republicans, and especially the America First movement, are a threat to democracy.
“I think there’ll be some violence. I think there’ll be workplace fights. There’ll be fights at kids’ birthday parties. I think they’ll be protests and will turn violent,” Mark Halperin recently told Tucker Carlson.
Resistance groups, according to the Journal’s Joshua Chaffin and Valerie Bauerlein, believe citizens should be “bracing for unrest” if Trump wins:

After the October 7 massacres, the obituaries of the long political career of Benjamin Netanyahu, published both in Israel and in the West, became orthodox. He was considered as politically inert as Donald Trump once was after January 6, 2021. The conventional wisdom speculated not if, but only when he would be forced out of office. Western leaders and the Israeli left, and indeed even the Israeli non-left, as well as American and European pundits, claimed that the laxity of the Netanyahu government was entirely to blame for the grotesque massacre of October 7.

When Donald Trump’s campaign announced plans for a rally at Madison Square Garden, Democrats and their media allies knew they had a problem. Trump was going to pack the house on their turf. So they wasted no time pushing the tired Hitler narrative and claimed that the choice of venue was an homage to a pro-Nazi rally held there in 1939. It wasn't just liberals in the media pushing this narrative, either. Hillary Clinton accused Trump of “actually re-enacting the Madison Square Garden rally in 1939.”

CBS’ 60 Minutes ran a lengthy outline earlier this evening consisting of questions to former Acting ICE Director Tom Homan about how President Trump will deport millions of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s illegal aliens. [Article with Video Here]
The sympathetic CBS framework is essentially what you would expect: (1) the illegal aliens are earnest people, part of a poor huddled mass; and (2) there’s no humanitarian way to deport millions of them. [Video Segment] Tom Homan does a great job dispatching the narrative engineers of CBS. There were an estimated 11 million illegal aliens in 2006.

There’s an old aphorism among leftists: if you’re not winning the argument, say it louder. If you’re getting killed in a factual debate, toss the logic and get emotional. Get angry. Throw anything you got, it doesn’t matter if it’s true, just keep screaming. Actually, I don’t know if that’s an old aphorism—I just made it up—but I see it time and time again, whether I’m arguing with a low-IQ progressive or reading what passes as the mainstream media these days. Although the New York Times has long lost its reputation as the paper of record—

Things quickly fall apart when your political positions are based on animus and emotions. You have no legitimate arguments for policy, or much of anything other than the other guy is evil. That’s where Democrats are right now, along with being exposed for having communications staffers who cannot relate or even speak to ordinary voters. They’re too extreme, left-wing, and all-around weird—you saw that with the ‘brat’ stuff this summer. If you don’t know what that is, you’re not alone; no one did. For all the talk about how Trump hates Muslims, he’s now winning Arab American voters. He got the endorsement of local Muslim leaders in Michigan

Bad Bunny threw his support behind Vice President Kamala Harris on Sunday by sharing a video of the Democratic presidential nominee shortly after a comedian at Donald Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally made crude jokes about Latinos and called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage,” angering artists and some Hispanic Republicans. Bad Bunny, whose official name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is one of the most famous artists of the moment. His backing could be a boost for the Harris campaign as it tries to bolster its support with Latino voters, among whom Trump has been working to gain ground.

Election Day is almost here, and Donald Trump is rewriting the book on campaigning.
He is peaking at just the right time, along with the beautiful autumn leaves.
Fortunately, he remains the Republican candidate despite deep-state efforts to remove him from the ballot through lawfare and at least two failed assassination attempts.
A few weeks ago, Trump served French fries at a Pennsylvania McDonald's, a crucial battleground state.
It was a popular move, showing that he relates to the working class far better than his opponent, the elite Kamala Harris, who made specious claims about having worked at McDonald's during college. Despite her claims, McDonald’s has no record of her previous employment,

MAGA comedian Tony Hinchcliffe sparked fierce outrage after hurling insults against Latinos in a series of purported jokes during his opener at the Trump rally in Madison Square Garden Sunday.
“I welcome migrants to the United States with open arms and by open arms, I mean like this,” the “Kill Tony” podcast host told the crowd — with hand gestures signally “no.”
He added: “It’s wild and these Latinos love making babies too, just know that — they don’t do that. They come inside, just like they did to our country. Republicans are the party with a good sense of Hinchcliffe, 40, cackled after taking the swipe,

Kamala Harris worked to inject the themes of “equity” into every aspect of her work as vice president — from COVID-19 to hurricane relief, a new report says.
And she started with intelligence briefings, according to The New York Times.
Soon after taking office, Harris reportedly had a problem with how two female world leaders were allegedly being described in intelligence reports, which she groused “used adjectives … rarely used to describe male leaders.” (Photo)
The newly sworn-in veep sprang into action, ordering officials to scour years of intelligence agencies’ briefing reports for evidence of bias.

Former first lady Melania Trump spoke about how “New York City and America” need to get their “magic back,” adding that rising crime is leading families to relocate.
During former President Donald Trump’s rally in Madison Square Garden, his wife, Melania Trump, praised New York City for being the place where “architectural symbols of strength, courage, and unity” made a “canvas for the world’s undisputed capital of industry.” Melania encouraged voters to “envision a wonderful America where the seats of security, prosperity, and health” would be sewn.

During his Madison Square Garden rally in New York City on Sunday, former President Donald Trump said he was running against “something far bigger” than Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump, who has a slight edge over Harris in national and top battleground state polls with just over a week until Election Day, talked about looking past the candidate and taking on what he described as the “radical Left machine” and the policy agency it wants to impress upon the U.S. (X Video)

The Madison Square Garden rally was bringing the Trump power right into the heart of deep blue New York City. Even there, President Donald Trump, a son of the city, proved that the MAGA power would shine through. The fun and joy were present, as a panoply of folks came out to support the GOP nominee; among them was a surprise -- Hulk Hogan -- a long-time supporter, who came in with his classic entrance and music. Next week, we face a choice. It is a huge choice. A yuge choice, if you will. The ramifications are enormous. Historic. It's easy to forget that we are watching history happen. When you read about the past, you read about about when LBJ quit or when JFK was shot. Those are historic moments written in the history books. And we are living through history now. We had both of those things happen again in just the last few months, a dropout and an assassination attempt, except they tried to kill Trump twice and they failed. For those of us who love history, it is remarkable that we

A Nazi rally it was not.
Madison Square Garden, the greatest arena in the world, where America’s most celebrated icons have taken the stage, was packed to the rafters with patriotic Americans cheering on the formidable ensemble of Donald “Captain America” Trump and the Avengers, as some of his surrogates call themselves.
Trump’s hometown, deep blue New York — whose unpopular Democrat leaders have tried to lock him up — welcomed the former president back as a conquering hero, filling the stadium to bursting, with thousands more New Yorkers lining the route from Trump Tower to cheer his motorcade.
But in his third and most consequential bid for the presidency,

Former President Donald Trump announced Sunday his support for a tax credit for family members who care for an ill parent or loved one.
Trump unveiled his policy proposal at his historic rally at a sold-out Madison Square Garden. “I’m announcing a new policy today that I will support a tax credit for family caregivers who take care of a parent or a loved one. It’s about time that they were recognized, right?” Trump said, drawing a roar of cheers from the crowd.
“They add so much to our country and are never spoken of — ever, ever, ever — but they’re going to be spoken of now.

The Madison Square Garden rally for President Donald Trump has been rocking.
We reported earlier about the massive crowds trying to get in, some of whom had been there since Saturday morning and had stayed overnight. The Democrats, including vice presidential nominee Tim Walz, equated it to a Nazi rally held in MSG in 1939. We also reported how that was belied by the very people there, with many Jewish people--including a Holocaust survivor who had decried the despicable Hitler references that Kamala Harris had been tossing around. Then the whole narrative about the comparisons is stupid because MSG had four different venues; it's not even the same
