A “frustrated” Michelle Obama attacked Donald Trump during her first campaign trail appearance for Kamala Harris, worrying that the US “will blow this opportunity to finally turn the page on the ugliness” by re-electing the former president.
The former first lady did not shy away from slamming the 45th president and his supporters alike during an impassioned speech at Harris’ rally in Kalamazoo, Mich. — her first time stumping for the vice president since the Democratic National Convention in August.
Trump supporters and undecided voters hold Harris to a high and unfair double standard while letting the ex-commander in chief coast with little criticism, Obama claimed.

Israel launched airstrikes at military targets in Iran early Saturday in retaliation for Tehran’s ballistic barrage of 200 rockets targeting the Jewish state earlier this month, the Israeli military confirmed.
Multiple explosions were reported near Tehran, Iran’s capital, and the nearby city of Karaj as Israel’s initial strikes appeared to have targeted a weapons depot, along with a barracks or office, senior Arab officials told NBC News.
“It was so loud and the sky became red,” said an Iranian resident in Tehran, who asked not to be named.

Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos reportedly put the kibosh on the paper endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming election — leading to one editorial board member to quit and backlash from its left-leaning staff.
The Beltway broadsheet said Friday that it will not endorse either candidate, breaking 36 years of tradition, following a “tense” newsroom, according to NPR.
The newspaper then published an article written by two reporters saying that editorial page staffers had drafted an endorsement for the Democratic nominee Harris over former President Donald Trump.

Iran's Islamist regime has never made a secret of its ambitions. Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, who seized power following the overthrow of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and established the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1979, said: "We shall export our revolution to the whole world. Until the cry 'There is no god but Allah' resounds over the whole world, there will be struggle."
Ignoring the warning signs will only make the price Europe pays even higher.
The question is, how much more aggression will Europe tolerate before it recognizes the full extent of the threat?

Former President Donald Trump spoke about how being a politician is a “very dangerous business” during an interview with Joe Rogan on the Joe Rogan Experience.
During the interview, Rogan told Trump that “one of the beautiful things” about him is that he holds “huge events” and just talks, adding that Trump had “comedic instincts.” Trump added that in the business of politics, you need to have the “attitude of a comedian,” adding that it is a “dangerous” and “tough” business. One of the beautiful things about you is that you freeball,” Rogan said. “You get out and you do these huge events, and you’re just talking.

As Israel engages in targeted military action against Iran, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are facing backlash for prioritizing personal engagements — Biden’s weekend trip to Delaware and Harris’s Texas rally featuring Beyoncé — amid growing concerns that a lack of U.S. leadership at such a crucial moment could further destabilize the Middle East. Israel’s current offensive actions against Iranian military sites have triggered high alert across the region, yet President Biden and Vice President Harris have remained engaged with personal and campaign-related activities, raising concerns about the administration’s handling of an escalating crisis

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson called for The Wall Street Journal’s recent report on “secret” conversations between tech billionaire Elon Musk and Russian President Vladimir Putin to be investigated.
Nelson first emphasized that NASA is “non-partisan political” and praised SpaceX for its recent work in developing spacecraft, before saying that the Journal’s Thursday report should be looked into. “I don’t know that that story is true,” Nelson said at a conference hosted by news outlet Semafor. “I think it should be investigated.”

This is an actual headline that appeared in a “journalism” newsletter 13 days before the election: “How much coverage of Donald Trump is too much?”
The column is from Tom Jones, senior media writer at the Poynter Institute and, you’ll not be surprised to learn, a man consumed by Trump Derangement Syndrome. I’ve said in the past that Jones’ daily “Poynter Report” column would be more accurately titled, “Why I Hate Donald Trump and Fox News.” (For what it’s worth, Jones would dispute this. In 2020,

Former President Donald Trump is a “fascist,” Vice President Kamala Harris claimed for the first time during a Wednesday CNN town hall Under the Biden-Harris administration, costs soared on average 20 percent across the board, Russia invaded Ukraine, Hamas and Iran attacked Israel, illegal migrants invaded the southern border, and the nation suffered the deadly Afghan withdrawal.

“Yes, I do. Yes, I do,” she replied, “and I also believe that the people who know him best on this subject should be trusted again.”

Former Clinton pollster Doug Schoen said Tuesday on a podcast that Vice President Kamala Harris’ “inauthenticity” is her major problem as Election Day approaches.
Polls between former president Donald Trump and Harris have tightened, with Trump slightly ahead across several battleground states, according to RealClearPolitics polling averages. On “The Megyn Kelly Show,” SiriusXM’s Megyn Kelly criticized Harris’ record as “not impressive,” to which Schoen agreed, noting that voters appear to also share a similar view.

CNN host Jake Tapper said Wednesday that during his network’s coverage of a town hall with Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris, the Vice President talked about her opponent, former President Donald Trump, more than her own policies.
Tapper said, “You’ve been watching CNN’s town hall with Vice President Kamala Harris and undecided voters less than two weeks from the election. A lot of tough questions for the vice president there. It seemed as though the voters were divided into three basic groups, liberals who had not heard enough from her,
