Election officials in one of the largest counties in Arizona, which ultimately decides the election in the critical swing state, are already warning Americans that voting tabulation could take weeks to conclude.
Maricopa County officials are asking people for “patience” as they tally up the final votes, which they say could take between 10 and 14 days. Deputy Elections Director Jennifer Liewer blames longer-than-usual ballots and the high interest in the 2024 election.
This year’s ballot in the state will be two pages long and have an average of 79 races per ballot. More than 400,000 people in Maricopa County have already cast their ballots,

— Friends in Low Places
My familiarity with being the odd man out dates back to my earliest memories of school, when I was the odd boy out. When it comes to my professional modus operandi, there's always been a distinct "salmon swimming upstream" vibe to it. So here we are again.
In the past couple of weeks, I've noticed the word "panicking" popping up a lot when I'm gathering material for the Morning Briefing.

Political tensions are high as America heads to the polls to decide the next president, but some people are taking their disagreements too far.
Jennifer Lund, 38, and Timothy Parks, 45, are each facing charges including assault, battery, and stalking after an incident with three men that resulted in one of them firing a gun. Court documents claim that Lund and Parks were traveling together in a vehicle when they spotted a residence with a sign indicating support for former President Donald Trump. [Tweet]
“Parks parked his Tesla in front of the residence with Lund in the passenger seat… [playing] the song ‘[Expletive] Donald Trump,'” the court documents explain.

Michigan Arabs and Muslims still don’t seem to have warmed to the Democratic Party ticket and could be turning out to vote for former President Donald Trump.
Though they have traditionally voted Democrat, the key Michigan voting bloc may be seeing a shift as Arab leaders like Dearborn Heights Mayor Bill Bazzi are encouraging the exodus to the GOP nominee.
“Just look where we’re at right now and look where we were before,” Bazzi told reporters during a call joined by Hamtramck, Michigan, Mayor Amer Ghalib, Fox News reported.

A Muslim-American Democrat was removed from Vice President Kamala Harris’s rally in Michigan without being given a reason, amid increased tensions between the Democrat Party and Muslim Americans.
Ahmed Ghanim, a former Congressional candidate, claimed in a video on X that he was “kicked out of Harris’s rally in Royal Oak, Michigan, on Monday, noting that Harris staffers did not “want to provide any reason” for why he was being kicked out.
In his video, Ghanim compared how in 2016, Muslims were “kicked out of” former President Donald Trump’s rallies, and now they were being kicked out of Harris’s rallies. Ghanim added that while he was kicked out of Harris’s rally,

The Trump campaign embraces followers of Jesus, former President Donald Trump made clear this week after Vice President Kamala Harris seemingly mocked a man at a Wisconsin rally for shouting, “Jesus is Lord!”
“While Kamala said that people who believe in Jesus don’t belong to her rallies, in our Movement — We love Christians, we welcome believers, and we embrace followers of Jesus,” Trump wrote on Instagram, sharing a video showcasing this contrast.
The video first shows Harris at a Wisconsin rally reacting to someone who shouted, “Christ is King!” and “Jesus is Lord!” while she spoke about making abortion available nationwide.
“Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally,” Harris says,

Former President Donald Trump has been consistent on his America First messaging for decades, a Trump campaign ad reveals, showcasing the former president’s unmatched commitment to putting America and the American people first.
The ad, first obtained by Breitbart News on Tuesday, puts Trump’s past commitment to America on full display. It begins with a throwback of Trump, stating during an interview more than 40 years ago, in 1983, that he would “dedicate my life to this country.”
The video shows various clips from the past, displaying Trump’s consistency on putting America first and championing the Make America Great Again movement before it was even a thing.

Kamala Harris continues to claim, without any evidence, that she worked at McDonald’s. Meanwhile, 11 pieces of evidence say she is lying.
The fake media love to use the term “without evidence” when it comes to defending the Democrat Party. The latest round of “without evidence” nonsense coming from the media is to dismiss credible allegations Kamala Harris lied about working at a McDonald’s 40-plus years ago.
Fact One: There is a ton of evidence Kamala is lying about this.
Fact Two: There is zero credible evidence Harris is telling the truth.
So, the only one running around “without evidence” here is Kamala Harris

Former Chief of Staff John Kelly has once again surfaced with baseless claims aimed at smearing President Donald Trump, just as left-wing operatives, including Kamala Harris, scramble to weaponize Kelly’s latest accusations.
With only days before the election, Kelly’s allegations are clearly designed to harm Trump’s campaign, but it’s nothing more than a last-ditch effort from a disgruntled employee who has long held a vendetta against the former President.
Kelly, who was fired by Trump, is now spreading an outlandish and debunked narrative about Trump allegedly praising Adolf Hitler during his time in office. These accusations are eerily reminiscent of the infamous “suckers and losers” smear propagated by The Atlantic in 2020

I'm not sure the Central Park Five really want a civil trial on what happened the night of April 19, 1989, but by suing Donald Trump for defamation, that's what they're going to get.
The alleged defamation was Trump's typically garbled response to Kamala Harris' lie at ABC's presidential debate last month, about something that happened 35 years ago. She claimed that Trump had called for "the execution of five young Black and Latino boys who were innocent."
Actually, Trump's much-maligned ad in The New York Times never mentioned the Five, who weren't remotely eligible for the death penalty, anyway. If everyone involved here weren't a public figure, Harris' accusation,

Tuberculosis used to be a global plague. Many contracted TB, and many died from it, from Britain's Henry VII to America's John Henry "Doc" Holliday. It's also a fairly simple disease, caused by an agile little bug, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which has the unfortunate propensity to develop into antibiotic-resistant strains. And what's more, it's a bug that's contagious, can be spread by aerosol, and is a prime subject for use as a biological agent.
On Wednesday, a report surfaced that Lousiana's Governor, Jeff Landry, and the state's attorney general, are suing Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over the case of an illegal immigrant, from China,

Arguments about the rarity of men and boys stealing opportunities from women and girls crumbled as a United Nations report quantified the growing number of medals lost.
Too often, leftist claims of troubling matters being rare and of little consequence have proven to be neither. Now, according to the findings of U.N. special rapporteur Reem Alsalem, such was the case for gender ideology’s impact on sports as nearly 900 medals that would have been awarded to females had gone to males as of March 2024.
In the report initially published in August, Alsalem indicated, “The replacement of the female sports category with a mixed-sex category
