Democratic strategist James Carville said Monday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that he and host Ari Melber will be arrested if former President Donald Trump wins the election.
Carville said, “Trump goes out, and he says I’m going to use the military to arrest my political enemies, and then Mike Johnson’s and Lindsey Graham, and the Wall Street Journal editorial pages say oh no, that’s not what he meant and then he comes back and says yeah, that’s exactly what I meant. You know what’ll happen? You pointed it out; if he wins, he will say, I told people I was going to do this. I have the legitimacy of an election

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) confirmed on Sunday that the U.S. government is now investigating the unauthorized release of these documents, which are believed to have originated from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency.
Now, a senior Pentagon official has been identified as the primary suspect in a classified leak involving the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) plan to strike Iran.
The American official under suspicion has been named as Ariane Tabatabai, an Iranian-American scholar of political science who currently serves as a senior policy advisor at the Pentagon.

Bill Gates is joining Elon Musk in spending tens of millions of dollars to back his preferred presidential candidate.
They’re not the same candidate.
According to a report Tuesday in the New York Times, the founder of Microsoft has donated about $50 million to a “dark money” group backing the candidacy of Vice President Kamala Harris. Citing “three people briefed on the matter,” the Times reported that Mr. Gates sent the money to the pro-Harris fundraising group Future Forward.
“Mr. Gates has talked about his pro-Harris donation with his peers, including Mike Bloomberg, the former New York City mayor and a major supporter of Future Forward

Vice President Kamala Harris warned Americans about her “increasingly unhinged and unstable” opponent Donald Trump in a rare address from her residence on Wednesday, after Trump’s former chief of staff cautioned that the president would rule as a “fascist.”
John Kelly, Trump’s longest-serving chief of staff, has publicly criticized Trump many times, but escalated his attacks this week, saying that if the definition of fascism is “a far-right movement with a dictatorial leader and forcible suppression of opposition,” then his former boss “falls into the definition of a fascist.” In an interview with The Atlantic, Kelly said that Trump had praised Adolf Hitler

Two impeachments, 88 felony counts (with guilty verdicts on 34 of them), a massive fine, two assassination attempts, unrelentingly hostile media coverage, a last-minute candidate switcheroo, and Donald Trump is still showing signs that he will win the election in two weeks.
So, what do Democrats still have up their sleeve to stop Trump? They must have something.
Back in May, we asked what the Democrats’ Plan B was if their lawfare campaign against Trump failed, and offered five options – four of which have come to pass. Here is what we said then.

McDonald's has finally revealed why it does not have records to verify Vice President Kamala Harris' claim that she worked at one of its restaurants in the 1980s.
In a memo emailed to McDonald's USA franchisees the corporation confirmed that while Harris had 'fond memories' of working at a location in Alameda County, 'we and our franchisees don't have records for all positions dating back to the early '80s.'
A copy of the internal letter was posted by an anonymous McDonald's franchise on social media and confirmed by the Wall Street Journal.

WASHINGTON — Russia and Iran may try to encourage violent protests in the U.S. after next month’s election, senior intelligence officials warned Tuesday, citing two recent examples of foreign intelligence agencies seeking to sow discord ahead of the vote. The officials, with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, said both countries could support violent protests either by covertly organizing events themselves or by encouraging participation in those planned by domestic groups. The aim, the officials said, would be to increase division, cast doubt on election results and complicate the transfer of presidential power.
In January, Russian military intelligence tried to recruit an American to organize protests in the U.S.

The ladies of The View discussed a report that claims former President Donald Trump praised Hitler, predictably losing their minds. The topic of discussion was the released audio recordings of General John Kelly, Trump’s former chief of staff, who claimed the former president would make positive remarks about Hitler including saying he “did some good things.”
It started with Alyssa Farah Griffin, Trump’s former director of strategic communications, who can’t believe people would not believe General Kelly because he’s “a four-star general” who was “so highly regarded by everyone in Trump’s West Wing.”
“I mean, I just can’t believe that for four years people have been warning about this.

In today's "unexpected" news, the chief executive officer of youth clothing retailer Abercrombie & Fitch was arrested for sex trafficking.
Surprise, surprise.
According to ABC News:
Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries and two others were arrested Tuesday as part of a criminal sex trafficking investigation by the FBI and federal prosecutors in Brooklyn.
Jeffries, his partner Matt Smith and a third man, Jim Jacobson, are accused of operating an international sex trafficking and prostitution business that recruited young men for parties in the U.S. and abroad, according to an indictment.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and 11 Democrats are urging President Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Attorney General Merrick Garland to open a formal investigation into an Israeli air strike that injured American journalists over a year ago.
“The evidence clearly indicates that this was an unlawful direct attack on civilians in which a U.S. citizen was injured and was lucky to survive. Several journalists were severely injured, and one was killed,” lawmakers wrote in a letter on Tuesday.
