NBC News chief Washington correspondent Andrea Mitchell said Sunday on “Meet the Press” that Vice President Kamala Harris has to “double down” on doing serious interviews because she is not polling well with male voters.
Mitchell said, “They have to double down on doing more interviews and serious interviews because what I’m hearing from Democratic and Republican business people and a lot of men. She has such a big problem with men. I think there’s an undercount of the Trump vote. I think there’s misogyny in all of this, black and white men, big problem.”

In the wake of Hurricane Helene’s wrath, residents of the tiny town of Bat Cave, North Carolina, are facing a devastating reality — they’ve been left to fend for themselves.
FEMA, the federal agency tasked with disaster relief, has all but abandoned the community, citing a “road closed” sign as the reason for their absence.
As the town continues to pick up the pieces, it’s clear that this is yet another example of Biden’s government failure, and local residents are none too pleased.
Chelsea Atkins, 38, a health researcher originally from Buffalo, NY, shared her frustration with FEMA’s incompetence in an interview with the New York Post.

What does Hurricane Helene have to do with abortion?
Absolutely nothing unless you’re Young Turks Founder and CEO Cenk Uygur.
While Helene should unite Americans to rise above partisanship and all of its usual squabbles, Uygur took to X on Friday to make sure everyone stays in the muck by suggesting Helene is punishment from God against states where abortion is outlawed. [Tweet]
Uygur’s comments are pretty horrendous when we consider the death toll from Helene is over 200 and will probably be higher as emergency services continue their work in the areas affected, but his misquoting of scripture is an issue in itself as blasphemy.

CNN commentator Dana Bash barely pretends to be objective anymore; she doesn't bother to hide that she is a shamelessly partisan hack pretending to be a journalist. Republican National Committee co-chair and Trump daughter-in-law Lara Trump wasn’t having it Sunday, however, pushing back strongly as Bash tried to shill for the Harris-Biden regime by arguing that they’d done a great job on their Hurricane Helene response.
Except, of course, nobody is actually impressed with their lame efforts.

Everyone that watches election cycles long enough knows that the only moment that counts in a campaign is Election Day when the ballots have been counted.
Sadly in 2020 it took some states with far fewer ballots than Florida two to three times longer than Florida to count the ballots.
Ironically it took until the exact amount of lead by Trump was established, then a miraculous dump of ballots being delivered around 2-3am that would then be weighted 100 to 1 against Trump(or some similar proximity) and by sunrise, in a state were counting had been stopped, Trump’s lead would have evaporated and he somehow lost.

We should be used to the idea by now that the Biden administration does not exist in the same time frame of the universe as the rest of us. You might recall the $7.5 billion set aside in the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to build 500,000 EV charging stations across the country. As of June, exactly eight charging stations had been built.
Amazingly, in that same Act, Congress authorized the Commerce Department to create an "Internet For All" scheme, which was supposed to bring broadband internet to everyone in America at an affordable price by 2030.

Both at his second Butler rally and in his visits to Hurricane Helene victims, Donald Trump has gone out of his way to offer help and compassion to those who need it most. This stands in stark contrast to how Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, and their administration have utterly failed the hurricane victims.
FEMA officials have been accused of never showing up and/or actively interfering with and blocking private relief efforts after the hurricane. Biden and Harris took days to go do photo ops in hurricane-affected areas, perhaps because Joe was vacationing and Kamala was campaigning. In contrast, Trump rushed to visit the hurricane victims.

Although the Federal Emergency Management Agency told Congress last month that it had $4 billion in its Disaster Relief Fund, officials also warned that the Fund could have a shortfall of $6 billion by year’s end, a situation FEMA says could deteriorate in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
While FEMA is expected to ask Congress for new money, budget experts note a surprising fact: FEMA is currently sitting on untapped reserves appropriated for past disasters stretching back decades.
An August report from the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General noted that in 2022, FEMA “estimated that 847 disaster declarations with approximately $73 billion in unliquidated funds remained open.”

That is not a shock to many who believe her to be behind the “Russia Collusion” surprise unleashed on Donald Trump in summer 2016. Right now, an untold number of Americans throughout several southeastern states are still struggling to acquire basic necessities after Hurricane Helene ripped through the region a week ago — and our government is largely indifferent.
The devastation is nothing short of horrific. As of this article’s publication, officials reported that at least 202 people have died in the disaster, with many more still missing and awaiting rescue.
Among the areas hardest hit are Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina, the latter jurisdiction of which has racked up more deaths than any other state.

Federal agencies tasked with protecting U.S. borders have allowed illegal border crossers to enter the United States without adequate vetting and board domestic flights, a new Department of Homeland Security inspector general report found.
The 37-page document published on September 30 may be heavily redacted, but it paints a clear picture of the “potential risk” posed to Americans thanks to the willingness of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Transportation Security Agency to admit noncitizens without ID into the country.
“Under current processes, CBP and ICE cannot ensure they are keeping high-risk noncitizens without identification from entering the country.

Arizona’s Democrat elections chief is illegally withholding the identities of approximately 218,000 registered voters on the state’s voter rolls who lack documentary proof of citizenship (DPOC), a lawsuit filed Wednesday alleges.
Brought by the Strong Communities Foundation of Arizona (SCFA) against Democrat Secretary of State Adrian Fontes and the Arizona Department of State, the legal challenge “seeks to restore public trust in [Arionza’s] electoral system by ensuring transparency about the Defendants’ failures to ensure that registered voters have provided DPOC, as required by law.” The group is represented by America First Legal and a law firm spearheaded by former Arizona Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Wright.

For months, many countries have warned of an escalation in the war in the Middle East. These concerns are now magnified in the wake of Iran's latest attack on Israel.
Iran is one of the regional powers in the Middle East. Another is Turkey, and Ankara has been on the side of the Palestinian people since Israel's offensive on the Gaza Strip in response to the October 7, 2023 attack by the terrorist organization Hamas. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has repeatedly accused Israel of committing "genocide." He has also repeatedly emphasized that he does not see Hamas as a terrorist organization and often speaks of his "Palestinian brothers."

According to London-based investor and environmentalist Adam Sweidan, a “black elephant” is a mix of two metaphors: “a black swan” — an unlikely, unexpected event with enormous ramifications — and the “elephant in the room” — a problem that is visible to everyone, yet no one still wants to address it.
The Democratic Party has a “Black Elephant” problem they don’t want to talk about, African Americans to comprehend and voters to respond to on election day.
That problem involves the growing support for former President Donald Trump from African Americans. Recent reports reveal that black men in particular are supporting President Trump in record numbers.

“The most stupendous and atrocious fraud.” Those words from federal prosecutors could have been ripped from the filing this week of Special Counsel Jack Smith defending his prosecution of former President Donald Trump.
Yet they were actually from a Justice Department filing 184 years ago, just days from the 1840 presidential election. Democratic President Martin Van Buren was struggling for reelection against Whig William Henry Harrison, and his Justice Department waited until just before voters went to the polls to allege that Whig Party officials had paid Pennsylvanians to travel to New York to vote for Whig candidates two years earlier.

Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.), the Democratic vice presidential nominee, will join Fox News Sunday for his first solo interview on Oct. 6 at 2:00 p.m. according to a Saturday announcement.
The outlet said Shannon Bream will ask him about the state of the race, the September vice presidential debate and other news of the day. Walz has come under attention recently from some in the media for not doing more appearances.
“I’m bewildered a little bit by the absence of both the presidential candidate and the vice presidential candidate on television since they became the nominees,” CNN’s Jake Tapper said o ahead of the vice presidential debate earlier this week.

The hatred of extreme left-wing agitators and parts of the left-liberal elite in politics and the media against our Jewish compatriots and the State of Israel since the barbaric massacre of innocent civilians on October 7, 2023, has directly fueled anti-Semitism and hatred of Jews.
It started immediately after October 7 with inflammatory demonstrations of millions of people with false flags and slogans in many European capitals, including many non-Western immigrants, who thereby demonstrated that they do not share any of our values and do not belong here.

Columbia University saw donations at its annual fundraiser drop nearly 29% after the spate of anti-Israel protests on campus earlier this year.
The annual “Giving Day” event brought in $21.4 million in 2024, compared to $30 million in 2022, the last time the event was held, according to campus newspaper Columbia Spectator. Giving Day was postponed in 2023 due to the Oct. 7 Hamas attack and the ensuing protests.
The Ivy League university also saw a nearly 28% drop in the number of gifts, falling from 19,229 in 2022 to 13,870, the lowest since 2015, the paper said.

The week began with what is absurdly called a “debate” and ended with a clear example of the grit, decency, and inventiveness of ordinary people and the sloth, idiocy, and incompetence of our government in the face of a devastating hurricane in Appalachia.
I didn’t watch the debate and like the great Iowahawk (David Burge) I consider this one of the worst lies told concerning them, “here is our panel of undecided voters.” If you are undecided at this stage, you are a moron and shouldn’t vote, or a liar.

A protester who works in the media lit himself on fire outside of the White House during an anti-Israel protest on Saturday evening, disturbing video shows.
The man, identified as photojournalist Samuel Mena Jr, can be seen screaming in pain after he set his left arm ablaze in the middle of the street as shocked police officers and bystanders rush over to help, according to one clip.
Mena holds his left arm — engulfed in flames — high in the air to show others as several people quickly douse him with water and beat out the flames with pieces of clothing.

The city is bracing for widespread anti-Israel protests planned for the one-year anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack.
Protests are already expected on Saturday, in the lead up to the anniversary of the devastating terror attack, with events organized for Times Square, outside Google’s Manhattan headquarters and at Court Square Park in Queens.
Many anti-Israel groups are planning demonstrations for Monday, in particular, the National Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP), which is orchestrating a nationwide “Week of Rage” on college campuses beginning on Oct. 7.
Meanwhile, one of the most outspoken anti-Israel organizations “Within Our Lifetime” (WOL) called on protestors to “flood New York City for Palestine” to mark the anniversary

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) announced on Friday that she has introduced legislation aimed at terminating the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Shelter and Services Program (SSP).
Mace blasted the program as a colossal misuse of taxpayer dollars that prioritizes illegal immigrants over American disaster victims, and her bill proposes redirecting all unspent SSP funds to aid Americans struggling to recover from natural disasters like Hurricane Helene.
“It’s unacceptable for Americans to grapple with the catastrophic aftermath of Hurricane Helene while the federal government remains fixated on spending hundreds of millions on a program sheltering illegal immigrants instead of helping our own citizens,” said Representative Nancy Mace.

Former President Donald Trump rallied his supporters on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, the site of an assassination attempt on his life.
Trump, speaking about his public service, suggested he is honored to run for president once again to protect the nation from the Biden-Harris administration. Under its leadership, costs increased by about 20 percent across the board, Russia invaded Ukraine, Hamas and Iran attacked Israel, the illegal migrants invaded the southern border, and the nation suffered the deadly Afghan withdrawal.

The combination of economic hardship brought on by the Biden/Harris administration and the hard work of conservative activists like Scott Presler has flipped a majority of Pennsylvania counties to Republican.

Americans in nearly every state face looming deadlines to ensure they’re eligible to cast their votes.
At a recent Trump rally, tech billionaire Elon Musk delivered a stark warning to Americans: this could be the last election if voters don’t take action now.
Musk said during the rally:
“I think this election is the most important election of our lifetime. This is no ordinary election. The other side wants to take away your freedom of speech. They want to take away your right to bear arms. They want to take away your right to vote effectively.
This one request is very important: register to vote. Get everyone you know—and everyone you don’t know—

Tim Walz is going to appear on FOX News Sunday tomorrow to be interviewed by host Shannon Bream.
This is notable for a couple of reasons. First, it’s a sharp change from the Harris/Walz campaign’s ‘hide from the press’ strategy. They must know that isn’t working anymore. Second, FOX News??? Democrats, particularly their base voters, hate the FOX News channel with the heat of a thousand suns.
Who exactly does Walz think he is going to appeal to by doing this interview? Who is the target audience?

On Thursday October 3rd, Vice President Kamala Harris held a campaign event with former Congresswoman Liz Cheney. Liz Cheney officially endorsed Harris in the beginning of September, and soon after her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney followed suit. Harris said she was honored to have their endorsements, and many fellow liberals are celebrating the Cheney endorsements. When asked about the former congresswoman’s campaign event with Harris, President Joe Biden said that Liz Cheney and her father “have character.” MSNBC contributor Tim Miller notably said Dick Cheney’s endorsement should be a wake-up call to everybody, his implication being that Trump is so bad even “conservative” Dick Cheney is backing Harris.

Midway through former President Donald Trump's Friday town hall event in Fayetteville, North Carolina, he was given an extraordinary gift by an extraordinary man.
A decorated Vietnam War veteran, identified only as Dwight, appeared on stage halfway through the event to present the Republican presidential nominee with a “small token.”
That "small token" was the Marine's Purple Heart.
Before the presentation, Florida Republican Rep. Anna Paulina, the moderator of the town hall, read a letter the decorated Marine had penned to Trump shortly after the assassination attempt in Butler, Pa., on July 13.

If you're running a political campaign, the one person you never want to be compared to is Hillary Clinton. The twice-failed presidential candidate went down in history after losing to Donald Trump in 2016, and plenty of speculation has revolved around whether her defeat was preventable. Most infamously, she never set foot in Wisconsin because she was confident the so-called "blue wall" states would hold.
Ultimately, they didn't, and Trump walked away with Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and the entire election. Now, Democrats are beginning to panic, and the comparisons to Clinton are getting scarier by the minute. [Tweet]

Is Bibi Netanyahu making decisions regarding Israel's response to Iran's recent missile attacks in an effort to interfere in the US presidential election? That seems to be Joe BIden's read on the situation, at least based on comments he made this week in the White House press briefing room. Biden clearly appeared to be implying that Netanyahu is less interested in negotiating any sort of peace deal because of the pressure he's under to deliver a strong message to Iran. A peace deal would potentially undermine that message, possibly opening the door to additional aggression by Iran. Why Biden would weigh in on this discussion in such a fashion remains

FLINT, Michigan — Democrats across the country are fretting about Pennsylvania, a blue wall state that could crumble Vice President Kamala Harris’ most straightforward path to victory. But Michigan Democrats are also warning that their state hangs on a knife’s edge.
Party leaders are anxious about the Great Lakes state slipping away as polls continue to show a close race with former President Donald Trump, even with the party’s renewed enthusiasm surrounding Harris’ candidacy. They worry that Trump and his running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, are increasing their presence in Michigan and appealing to a swath of voters Harris is working hard to win over:

I’m not sure there was anyone who ever spoke from the podium in the press briefing room at the White House during the Trump administration who didn’t have someone complain about them violating the Hatch Act – the prohibition on federal employees engaging in political activity while on the job or using federal resources to do so. Even the press complained about administration officials “getting political” while answering questions back when we had an administration that would answer questions. Now we have an entire White House being mobilized for the electoral benefit of the sitting Vice President, and no one cares.

Standing on the very stage where his running mate narrowly avoided death, Republican vice presidential hopeful JD Vance admonished former President Donald Trump’s critics for stoking animosity against him.
Vance, 40, called out Vice President Kamala Harris by name as well as the media for trafficking in “inflammatory rhetoric” against Trump that he contended has culminated in political violence.
“With all the hatred they have spewed against President Trump, it was only a matter of time before somebody tried to kill him,” Vance bellowed out to a packed venue at the Butler Farm Show grounds Saturday.

Butler, Pa. — Former president Donald Trump delivered a speech that began more solemnly than most on Saturday, when he returned to the site of his attempted assassination for the first time to celebrate the unity and resiliency of his movement and the life of the man who was killed at his July rally.
It’s been nearly three months since 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks fired on Trump during a rally at the Butler Farm Show grounds. Crooks shot at Trump from the top of a nearby building, grazing the former president in the ear, killing firefighter Corey Comperatore, and injuring two others.

There is no way the vice president’s team posted this on social media. They cannot be this stupid, can they? Well, it appears that you learn something new every day from this circus. Hurricane Helene dumped more than 40 trillion gallons of rain as she made landfall, creating a swath of destruction across the southern United States. It’s one of the deadliest storms to ever hit the country, claiming at least 200 lives with hundreds more still missing.
The response has been slow. Countless hurricane victims are without electricity or water access, an issue expected to last weeks. Kamala announced that $750 checks

It is now, or should be, common knowledge that electric vehicles—cars, trucks, buses, bikes, scooters—under conditions of even low humidity or water damage, are prone to catching fire, owing to the unstable nature of the lithium-ion battery. As Chris Morrison writes at The Daily Skeptic, EVs are known to explode “with the force of a bomb blasting super-heated jets of flame, melting and decomposing nearby structural materials including metal and concrete, and sending vast amounts of toxic fumes into any enclosed atmosphere.” [Tweet]
Jammed into underground parking garages or packed in ferries, EVs are harbingers of almost unimaginable disaster—ecological and safety menaces
