Undaunted and unafraid, Donald Trump came back to hold a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, twelve weeks after he was shot in the same spot. The former president praised American heroes past and present, slammed the failures of his Democrat opponents, and proposed his plan for restoring the American Dream.
“Twelve weeks ago, we all took a bullet for America — and all we are all asking in return is that everyone goes out and votes,” Trump told a crowd that reportedly comprised 60,000 people. From a beautiful tribute to Butler rally 1.0 shooting victim Corey Comperatore to a data-driven analysis of the border crisis to a common sense economic/energy plan

The ground is shifting in the 2024 presidential campaign. If Donald Trump and JD Vance win this November, that will be literally a true statement because Trump and Vance want to use federal land to create more housing and wealth for Americans.
Needless to say, green liberals hate the idea.
Most Americans are only vaguely aware that the federal government owns 28 percent of the land in the United States. There was never any particular reason for this federal land-grabbing. It just sort of happened in the 19th century, as nobody wanted to live on arid or remote swathes of territory.

CNN’s Elie Honig isn’t Scott Jennings, but he’s also not going to play along with these laughable political games being carried out by the Department of Justice. Vice President Harris is facing the wrath of Catholic voters after years public hostility towards them, insiders say.
“Kamala’s definitely been impacted negatively by a lack of support from Catholic voters,” said Ryan Girdusky, a GOP strategist and Catholic. “She’s polling worse than Joe Biden among a very important demographic. They are the largest single church in America, the Catholic vote will help decide the presidency.”
A survey from the Pew Research Center last month showed Harris underwater with Catholic voters, with 47% support to Trump’s 52%. The numbers were exactly flipped in 2020 when Biden, a Catholic, beat Trump, according to exit polling from the Washington Post.

One of them is believed to be Ismail Qaani, a Brigadier General in the IRGC and commander of its Quds Force.
A Lebanese security source told Sky News that the chances of anyone surviving the targeted strike were “almost zero.”

Hurricane Helene, which tore through the southeastern United States and took more than 185 lives, may also effect this year's presidential election.
The hurricane was the first catastrophe in US history to hit two crucial swing states - North Carolina and Georgia - within just six weeks of a presidential election, according to Politico.
It particularly devastated heavily Republican areas of the two states, giving Vice President Kamala Harris a potential edge over former President Donald Trump.

One of the excuses you always hear when there’s a massive failure by the Biden-Harris administration is that no one could have seen it coming. No one could have predicted that the Inflation Reduction Act would actually increase inflation. No one could have predicted that the Afghan government would collapse immediately after we pulled out our troops, leading to a security breakdown and the deaths of 13 U.S. military personnel. No one could have predicted that shipping pallets of cash to Iran would provide funding for a new campaign of terrorist attacks by Iran’s proxies, and so on.
The truth though is that all of these disasters were easily foreseeable.

Even the woefully incompetent Jimmy Carter received 41% of the popular vote in 1980 after four years of miserable failure. I guess some people like failure. But who are these people? Who in their right mind would vote for Kamala Harris for President? Well, again, millions will do it. Why? Let’s look at who these people are.
But before I do that, I want to mention the countless Americans who won’t vote for anybody.

Instead of being sent home at the end of their two-year visas, the 530,000 economic migrants are being invited to use the many loopholes, exemptions, and lawsuits in migration law to stay working in the United States.
When they do stay, they will continue to make Americans poorer by minimizing pressure on employers to hire Americans at decent wages or to invest in wage-boosting workplace technology — while also extending their separation from their at-home families.

A dead heat is getting even hotter for Kamala Harris. To see it, you can look at the slightly tightening polls; to appreciate you must look inside them. However, to fully understand it, you must look at what Harris did last week: she visited the southern border, she gave an economic speech and she held another softball interview. For a campaign centered on not saying anything, Harris’ playing to her weaknesses says a lot.
The polls say the race is tightening slightly. According to RealClearPolitics’ Sept. 29 average of national polling in a two-way race, Harris leads Trump 49.1 percent to 47.1 percent.

When describing the Biden-Harris administration’s policy of allowing millions of illegal border crossers to stay in the United States, it’s absolutely critical to use the word “unvetted.” What government official would let so many people who entered the country illegally remain in the U.S. without even knowing who they are? That would be crazy. And yet that is exactly what the Biden-Harris administration has done for nearly four years. According to London-based investor and environmentalist Adam Sweidan, a “black elephant” is a mix of two metaphors: “a black swan” — an unlikely, unexpected event with enormous ramifications — and the “elephant in the room” — a problem that is visible to everyone, yet no one still wants to address it.
The Democratic Party has a “Black Elephant” problem they don’t want to talk about, African Americans to comprehend and voters to respond to on election day.
That problem involves the growing support for former President Donald Trump from African Americans.
Recent reports reveal that black men in particular are supporting President Trump in record numbers.

Politico is framing the “lack of vetting” as the reason Kamala Harris is now stuck with Tim Walz as a liability dragging down her campaign. The VP nominee is essentially outlined as a lying liar who lies, although they use the word “misspeak” frequently.
Strangely, or not, Politico never outlines that Tim Walz was specifically vetted by Eric Holder. As a consequence, if the political left is going to run with the excuse of failed vetting of Walz to explain Harris losing, they are essentially saying Eric Holder sunk Harris.

Ohio Sen. JD Vance, as anticipated, easily won the vice-presidential debate Tuesday, October 1, on demeanor, facts, and analysis. But in fairness to a sometimes herky-jerky and nervous Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, he had the harder task of defending the temporary pseudo-conservative make-over of Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris. His additional burdens were her co-culpability for the last three-and-a-half-years of the Biden disaster, and her unwillingness to implement her supposedly "change" agenda in the last months of her vice-presidential tenure.
The CBS News moderators, Nora O’Donnell, and, especially, Margaret Brennan, also as expected, ganged up on Vance.

Democratic strategist James Carville griped Friday that the Democratic Party is continuously reported in a “negative light” as he clashed with CNN’s host Jake Tapper over Vice President Kamala Harris’ polls in a key swing state.
Polls between Harris and former President Donald Trump have tightened in key swing states, with Michigan becoming a concern for Democrats. While on “The Lead with Jake Tapper,” Carville called out Tapper and CNN’s senior data reporter Harry Enten, who had previously warned about Harris trailing in Michigan polls.

President Joe Biden again undermined Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign on Friday by tying her to their administration’s policy failures.
Biden’s comments are damaging to Harris because she has been trying to run away from a catch-22: She cannot campaign on policies to fix crime, inflation, and border security without undermining the Biden-Harris administration’s policies, but she must tout the administration’s policies to validate her record and candidacy.

If it's Friday, then it stands to reason that there's going to be a Friday news dump. And the Biden administration didn't disappoint with its quiet announcement in the work week's waning hours, stating that it will end plans to provide a path to citizenship for the over 500,000 illegal aliens from four nations that it flew into the United States. Readers might remember the temporary pause in the program in August, after major fraudulent activities were exposed in the program's management, in part thanks to Elon Musk's bringing attention to the Daily Mail's story back in the spring.

As the 2024 presidential election continues to get closer, new data showing how many illegal aliens have been purposely dumped into crucial swing states by the Biden-Harris administration is raising red flags. (X) Keen political observers note how the tactic will benefit Democrats. (X's) The numbers come after Democrats on Capitol Hill refused to vote for legislation that would make it against the law for non-citizens to vote in federal elections. (X Video) In Arizona alone, 78,000 non-citizens are registered to vote.

The United States announced that it would be providing $157 million in humanitarian aid to address the “crisis in Lebanon” and those who have been affected by it.

“The United States will provide nearly $157 million in new U.S. humanitarian assistance to support populations affected by conflict in Lebanon and the region,” Blinken said

Joe Biden made history for himself on Friday and created chaos when he appeared in the White House briefing room for the first time since assuming power nearly four years ago. By doing so, he also undercut his sidekick Kamala Harris as she desperately tries to pander to voters.
A jovial Biden utilized his appearance to boast about the latest fake job numbers from the Labor Department along with the temporary agreement last night between International Longshoremen’s Association and the United States Maritime Alliance to reopen the ports.

I have long thought that one of the hallmarks of an advanced economy is built-in resilience to shocks to the system.
As with so many things these days, that resilience has eroded to the point that, except in certain areas of the country like Florida, it hardly exists.
You have probably seen many of the same videos I have, in which North Carolina residents are begging for help and wondering where FEMA is. Aside from funding migrants, that is. It seems to be doing a fine job at that, exhausting the funds that should be going to help Helene's victims. Why is FEMA so awful?

Minneapolis — One state audit found that bonus checks intended for frontline workers during the pandemic were handed out to undeserving recipients. Another criticized a Minnesota state agency for failing to ensure there were no conflicts of interest in taxpayer-funded mental health and addiction programs. A third detailed lax oversight of a program to feed needy kids which federal prosecutors say resulted in the nation’s largest Covid-era fraud scheme. But when confronted with these and other troubling examples of waste, fraud and abuse, some state agencies working under the administration of Democratic Gov. Tim Walz repeatedly minimized or dismissed the allegations, the state’s nonpartisan auditor, Judy Randall, told CNN.
