An investigation conducted by the Buckeye Reporter has uncovered a troubling conflict of interest involving Rob Rue, the mayor of Springfield, Ohio.
The report alledges that Mayor Rue has been profiting directly from the ongoing Haitian crisis by renting out properties he owns to Haitian immigrants. This practice raises serious concerns among citizens who fear that the mayor is favoring low-wage, government-subsidized foreign residents over the local population.
According to the Buckeye Reporter, a 37-year-old man who identified himself as “Works,” has confirmed that he and other imported Haitians are living in buildings owned by Rue.

Sex offenders are under rising pressure all over the world, and criminals convicted of rape and pedophilia may be facing increasingly tougher penalties as many countries move towards chemical castration sentences for these crimes.
Italy, for one, has started working on a proposed new law legalizing chemical castration for rapists and pedophiles.
Daily Mail reported:
“The parliament in Rome gave its approval on Wednesday to the creation of a committee that could draft laws on treating violent sex offenders with androgen-blocking drugs.
The treatment would be consensual and reversible with the aim of preventing reoffending, Politico has reported.”

In this episode of "Try to Control Your Shock and Amazement"...
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Thursday said that federal investigators have refused to cooperate with state officials conducting their own investigation into the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, which occurred Sunday at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.
During an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham — after signing an executive order earlier this week authorizing Florida's attorney general to open a criminal investigation into the incident — DeSantis said the feds have rebuffed state officials several times.
The answer is "no," they’re not being cooperative. I am concerned. For example, we were rebuffed,

As RedState's Bob Hoge reported earlier Friday, Israeli airstrikes in Beirut and Lebanon have taken out several senior Hezbollah leaders, including Ibrahim Aqeel, in yet another blow this week to the terrorist outfit. Aqeel was one of the masterminds behind the bombing of the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut back in 1983, and his demise comes on the 40th anniversary of one of his other attacks on the U.S. — the 1984 bombing that took place outside of the American embassy in Beirut. X was all atwitter on Friday with the question of what Jill Biden was doing at a cabinet meeting.
Joe Biden hasn't held one in 11 months, as he's abdicated his responsibilities. At the start of his meeting on Friday he introduced Jill, and then she did all of the talking about the White House Women's Health initiative. She didn't speak for very long, but she walked through some of the initiatives that they are taking -- (Snip) There's another reason I ask that question, which was also going viral on X. People were asking why her signature was embossed on honorary legislation folders:

It got buried because Donald Trump was the victim of another attempted assassination on the same day. Still, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) took CNN’s Dana Bash to the cleaners about the situation in Springfield, Ohio. He took the liberal narrative about the town and ran it over with a tank. He knows the game—and executed another masterclass in outmaneuvering the establishment press. Bash was clearly irritated that she couldn’t land any punches, and it was becoming clear that Vance might be entering an area where his invitation to this network might be cut down significantly or outright rejected if he kept embarrassing the network’s hosts in this manner.

Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy hosted a town hall on Thursday in Springfield, Ohio, where over 15,000 Haitian immigrants have invaded the small town with a population of just 56,000.
During the town hall, hundreds of people gathered to express concerns for their safety despite left-leaning networks dismissing claims that Haitian immigrants are overrunning the Ohio town. Reports also say the immigrants are reportedly also eating and sacrificing animals.
One woman told Ramaswamy that an illegal immigrant chased her and her daughter down the street with a machete, adding that police failed to respond to her calls or check in on the crime.

Gee, what a bummer. I missed Kamala Harris's star turn with Oprah because I was busy looking for pipe stretchers at Home Depot, but the show found me, so here I am writing about it when I should be downing the first Bombay Sapphire martini of the last weekend of summer. Yes, a gin martini; deal with it.
Summer is fleeting, so let's just get this out of the way now so I can go find the shaker. More and more people have less and less certainty that Kamala Harris owns the gun she's claimed to own only three times in her decades of public life.

According to the FBI, this was to sow chaos, rather than the obvious motive of helping the Democrats win.
The Biden-Harris campaign did not respond to the Iranian emails by going to the FBI. It did not contact law enforcement at all.
The media coverage is using all sorts of weasel words to explain the actions of the Biden-Harris campaign people. There are claims that they did not open the emails. The Biden-Harrs campaign claims that its people were the real victims of Iran.

Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and their foreign-policy team spent the last eleven months of handcuffing Israel in its war after Hamas' October 7 massacre and atrocities. For the past nine months, the Biden-Harris administration and other Western nations have demanded more and more concessions from Benjamin Netanyahu for a cease-fire and a hostage deal, painting him as the main obstacle to peace.
Now, according to the Wall Street Journal, it's slowly dawning on the Biden-Harris team that terrorists lie and have no real interest in a "two-state solution." First, however, we have to get through some it's-Israel's-fault excuses:

The Teamsters withholding an endorsement from Harris this week — after internal polling showed most respondents backing Trump — is sparking fresh concerns that the GOP nominee could have higher-than-expected support among union members

Again, this is why Kamala Harris doesn’t do interviews: she’s braindead. The woman did a livestream event with Oprah Winfrey, which should have been a cakewalk. It ended up being a word salad extravaganza and a painful one. Winfrey exhibited body language that didn’t display confidence in the vice president. I don’t think the cultural icon knew what Harris was talking about half the time. Harris’ interview with the National Association of Black Journalists this week caught all three journalists giving expressions that weren't positive.

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has reportedly confirmed the location of the new headquarters for X, formerly known as Twitter, in Central Texas after announcing the move from sunny California to temperamental Texas earlier this year. Company executives quietly filed paperwork to secure a space for X in Bastrop, just about 34 miles east of Austin, according to court filings obtained by Forbes. Bastrop is also the home of other Musk ventures, including SpaceX, the Boring Company, the Boring Bodega and a new X safety support center.
Forbes reports that the company has been updating incorporation documents to show the new Bastrop address, and lawyers for Musk on Monday, September 16, requested

At least 20 Trump supporters may have been attacked covertly by chemicals or a high-power laser at a Trump rally in Tucson on September 12. Some victims suffered severe burns. Many were temporarily blinded, with symptoms lasting until today. Others may have been affected but have yet to be identified. The fact that all those known to have been affected were sitting on the stage immediately adjacent to President Trump is important in understanding the significance of what happened.
The victims were all part of a “Latinos for Trump” group on the stage. President Trump shook hands with them as he walked to the podium. But what they believed was

It’s four years now, nearing five, since the whole world went mad.
It’s nearly five years since people in the western world were told that they couldn’t hold weddings and funerals. (Snip) It’s nearly five years since Bill Gates ruled the world.
In the course of researching my book on him (Gates of Hell: Why Bill Gates is the Most Dangerous Man in the World) which I hope those of you who haven’t purchased already will seek out, I came to appreciate just how powerful Bill Gates is. I came to see him as more influential and harmful than any other single individual on the planet,

On Thursday’s broadcast of CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg stated that building eight electric vehicle charging stations so far under the Inflation Reduction Act’s $7.5 billion investment in electric vehicle charging stations is “on track.” Because most construction will occur in the second half of the decade.
Co-host Joe Kernen asked, “[O]ur designs on electrification of the auto industry, have we recalibrated there? And I’ll just give you one item and you can — maybe you can explain why, but under the Inflation Reduction Act, 7.5 billion for building these charging stations. The latest information, eight have been built with the 7.5 billion that had been allocated.

Cynically running out the clock has been the overarching principle of the entire abbreviated 105-day presidential campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris -- ever since President Joe Biden, at the 11th hour, dropped out in July.
Harris seems unwilling or unable to answer any impromptu question that she has not been previously prepped for. Her answers at the debate were memorized and canned. They never addressed the questions asked.
Her single, 11-minute post-debate Philadelphia interview was a shipwreck of dodging

Lindsay Graham Travels To Nebraska To Convince Lawmakers To Revert To Winner-Take-All Electoral System by: Sterling Mosley 09.19.2024 On Wednesday, Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC) traveled to Nebraska to convince Republican legislators that the state should revert to a winner-take-all system rather than the current system that allocates electors via the popular vote and congressional districts. Graham's visit to the state is the latest attempt by Republicans to give Trump a slight advantage in the 2024 race by giving him one more electoral college vote that could win him the White House.

The Palestinian cause is a top priority for Saudi Arabia, and we reiterate the kingdom’s rejection and strong condemnation of the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian people, in disregard of international and humanitarian law in a new and bitter chapter of suffering,” he said. We extend our thanks to the countries that recognised the Palestinian state in embodiment of international legitimacy, and we urge the rest of the countries to take similar steps,” he said.
The crown prince, known by his initials MBS, made his remarks in his annual address to the Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia, more commonly called the Shura Council.

When I was a young man fresh into my teens, I was still in the thrall of the various left-wing philosophies, including the pro-choice movement. I even marched through the streets of my city in a pro-choice protest, shouting, "Women have died because of Hyde!" This, of course, was in reference to the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits federal funding for abortions except in cases of rape or incest or if the abortion is needed to save the life of the mother. I was young, indoctrinated, and confident that I stood on the moral high ground. I firmly believed that I was supporting women's rights and reproductive freedom.

It would be helpful to voters to know that a “whistleblower” says ABC rigged last week’s debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. But outside of conservative media, it’s being largely ignored, because the legacy press covers its own and as zealously as it does the Democratic Party. Whether the claims are true or not – the existence of the whistleblower remains unconfirmed – the mainstream media’s loyalty to Democrats is uncomfortably similar to the relationship Pravda had with the Central Committee of the Soviet Union’s Communist Party.

A tidal wave of cheap Chinese imports floods the national market.
Industries reel, companies crumble and factories close their doors for good.
The livelihoods of countless families disintegrate.
This could be a description of the original “China Shock,” the long-term result of the United States’ policy of “free trade” with China, which cost America 2.4 million jobs between 1999 and 2011.
But it also describes what countries across the globe are facing right now: a massive glut of vital industrial inputs and high-value goods, courtesy of Chinese overproduction.

New York magazine’s Washington correspondent Olivia Nuzzi was placed on leave after she had an alleged romantic relationship with former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr while covering his campaign.
Nuzzi, without naming the 70-year-old Kennedy scion, admitted in a Thursday night statement that earlier this year “the nature of some communications between myself and a former reporting subject turned personal.”
The 31-year-old star political reporter insisted the relationship was not physical in nature.

The Iranian war of extermination against Israel continues to be a clarifying moment for the supposedly civilised world. As this crisis continues, it is remorselessly spotlighting those who stand against such evil and those who are shamefully siding with it.
Israel’s astounding feat this week in killing or disabling thousands of senior Hezbollah operatives by causing their pagers and walkie-talkie radios to explode has sent its western enemies into a frenzy. (Snip)
In fact, never in the history of warfare has there been a more precisely targeted attack against enemy combatants. The explosive devices had only been distributed to senior Hezbollah operatives. The small amount of explosive inside was

Kamala Harris on Thursday night attended a star-studded campaign event hosted by Oprah Winfrey, who was forced to nudge the vice president to get to the point during a rambling response to a policy question posed by the audience.
The two-hour “Unite for America” livestream event from Michigan was meant to highlight the grassroots organizers that are backing Harris and give voters an opportunity to ask her about her platform — but the Democratic presidential nominee didn’t offer any new policy proposals.
At one point in the evening, Harris was questioned about what she would do to secure the southern border.

After holding a massive rally on Long Island, New York, yesterday, former President Donald Trump, who is now a professional assassination survivor, dodging two attempts on his life in 65 days, was stopped by Fox News’ Gutfeld. There were some good clips from the show, but the one that had me rolling was this story about the only time Trump spoke with Tim Walz, Kamala Harris’ running mate. “He’s a strange guy,” Trump said. But he did recollect this hilarious story about when he spoke with Walz. It was during the 2020 election, around the time Gov. Walz was allowing leftist lunatics to burn down his state post-George Floyd.

Did you catch Donald Trump’s appearance on the Greg Gutfeld show last night? If you missed it, you can watch a bunch of clips here.
Greg Gutfeld has always gotten great ratings, but last night broke a record for the show and topped all of cable news and even network shows.
Reactions to the broadcast from viewers has been very positive. People feel it gave Trump a chance to show a side of him that voters rarely get to see. His humorous side.
The numbers are truly impressive.

Establishment media coverage of former President Donald Trump was found to be 95 percent negative following the second attempt on his life, according to a Media Research Center (MRC) analysis.
ABC, CBS, and NBC News all broadcasted overwhelmingly negative commentary on the Republican presidential candidate after Sunday’s thwarted shooting at the Trump International Golf Course in Florida, MRC found. “A look at the first 72 hours of coverage on the ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts — Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights — finds that while the attempted assassination dominated campaign coverage, t

It was September 1995, and Tim Walz’s Nebraska National Guard unit, the 1-168th Field Artillery, upgraded to the M109A5 self-propelled howitzer. One of its capabilities was firing nuclear artillery shells. (snip) Alpha News has learned from a former National Guard colleague of Walz that, during that time, a classified document allegedly went missing—the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual detailing the howitzer’s nuclear capabilities.(snip) Walz was one of the few with access to the building where the top-secret manual was stored and was “often the only one there.” The former battalion member said he believes Walz stole the nuclear SOP manual and later returned it.

In response, Tony Dungy said on X, “Dear VP Harris: I hear you make this statement all the time. Exactly what ‘faith’ are you talking about

Artist Scott LoBaido wowed the crowd of approximately 18,000 people at a Donald Trump campaign rally in Long Island Wednesday night, generating a compelling portrait of the former president in just over three minutes as thunderous music played.
Wait till the end: [Tweet, video]
Now, it looked to me like the black and white part depicting Trump himself had been painted earlier, and LoBaido unveiled it by pulling off some sort of plastic. That didn't ruin it for me, though, because it took planning and execution and was a nice reveal, almost like a magic show.

We've been doing a lot of coverage of the 2024 race, but even though Joe Biden was shoved off the campaign, he's still occupying the office of the president, which is concerning given the condition he's in.
He seems to have largely disappeared from view except for occasional outings since he withdrew. Maybe they're hoping to do what they can to hide him through the election. But on Thursday, someone made a mistake and let him out to speak at The Economic Club in Washington, D.C.
Letting Biden out to talk about the economy is never a smart idea. You never know what he might say. In this case,

Kamala Harris finally did an interview with the National Association of Black Journalists on Tuesday. As my colleague Jennifer Oliver O'Connell explained, it was far different from how they treated former President Donald Trump when they interviewed him; they treated her with kid gloves.
That being said, she still had trouble, and she couldn't even give straight answers to obvious questions like are Americans better off under Biden-Harris than they were four years ago. Of course she couldn't give an honest straight answer to that question, because we all know what the honest answer would be. No.
