The Democratic National Committee (DNC) will launch eight billboards in Milwaukee during the Republican National Convention next week, making the case that reproductive rights and democracy are on the ballot in November.
On the billboards, first shared exclusively with The Hill, Milwaukee will see “Democracy is on the ballot, folks” and “Restore Roe? Vote for Joe!! “Joe Biden will: restore Roe, fight for freedoms, defend democracy,” another billboard reads.
The billboards will be in English and Spanish and aims to remind “Milwaukee that Biden is the only candidate defending democracy and freedoms,” according to the DNC.

Let me tell you about far leftists. They are different from you and me. If ordinary people publicly threatened to assassinate the president or a presidential candidate or wished that someone else would do so, those people would have to answer to the law. But leftists? Even when they show the world how low they really are, they still think that they are better than we are, and with good reason: no matter how criminal their deeds or words are, they suffer no consequences. They are different.

By removing Hezbollah from its terror list, the Arab League has sent a message to Iran and its terror proxies that they have a green light to pursue their terrorist attackers not only against Israel, but also against some of the Arab countries, especially the Gulf states.
Many Lebanese citizens and politicians are convinced that Hezbollah, together with the mullahs in Iran, are determined to destroy Lebanon by dragging it into war with Israel

Last week’s British elections — or, rather the results — ought to be food for thought for all the Americans who’ve griped about “undemocratic” features of the US system, especially the Electoral College.
The Labor Party won a huge majority — 412 out of 650 seats, 63% of Parliament — by carrying just 34% of the popular vote, its worst showing in the last several full elections.
This gives new Prime Minister Keir Starmer total control of both the executive and legislative branches of Britain’s government, and thus the ability to remake the judicial branch should he so choose.

Former President Donald Trump blasted a prospective policy agenda put forward by the conservative Heritage Foundation Friday, calling their plans “abysmal” and saying he has “nothing to do with them.”
Project 2025, a collaboration of dozens of right-wing groups organized by Heritage, says it is meant to “get into the business of restoring this country through the combination of the right policies and well-trained people.”
The project’s output includes a “180-day playbook” for the first six months of a new presidential administration — with proposed policies that have caused an uproar among liberals, including restrictions on immigration and abortion as well as shrinking the federal bureaucracy.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Iran held a runoff presidential election Friday pitting a hard-line former nuclear negotiator against a reformist lawmaker, though both men earlier struggled to convince a skeptical public to cast ballots in the first round that saw the lowest turnout in the Islamic Republic’s history.
Government officials up to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei predicted a higher participation rate as voting took place, with state television airing images of modest lines at some polling centers across the country.

It really is remarkable to watch the similarities between left-wing politics in the USA and left-wing politics in France. Historically, and in actual practice, we see this similarity as history rhymes and repeats. In both instances, you will note how the “mainstream” Democrats align with the communists to stop the majority of commonsense patriots. In the USA, Democrats enjoy the activity of their foot soldiers in Antifa (Occupy Wall Street, Black Lives Matter, or RevCom etc.) In France, the Democrats (NPF), within Macron’s camp, enjoy the activity of Black Bloc (the EU Antifa socialists and communists).

Fresh polling reveals Democratic partisans seem to think their presidential candidate is a bit stale.
The Economist/YouGov Poll conducted June 23-25 reveals that among many subgroups, there is a marked difference between those who say they’re sure things when it comes to watching Thursday night’s CNN debate between President Biden and former President Donald Trump in Atlanta and those who aren’t.
While there will be no audience at the event itself, the numbers suggest Democrats are more likely to tune out the event, leaving an opportunity for the presumptive Republican nominee to make inroads with the most important audience of all:

The U.S. Supreme Court just showed us why our VIP membership program is more crucial than ever before.
For years, the Biden administration pressured Big Tech companies to take down information on the internet that threatened its false narratives and administrative power — the ability to control Americans through force. It's well documented, and the administration was sued by the state of Missouri for doing it.
Townhall was a target of the Biden administration on a wide range of issues: climate change, COVID-19 and much more. Hundreds of stories written by our journalists were censored — taken off of social media sites and buried in search engines as "dangerous."

On Thursday, investigative journalist James O'Keefe released an explosive undercover investigation into Disney's discriminatory hiring practices, which exclude white males from roles. The O'Keefe Media Group (OMG) investigation is based on undercover footage of meetings with Disney's Vice President of Business Affairs, Michale Giordano.
"Nobody else is going to tell you this, but they're not considering any white males for the job," Giordano said to the OMG undercover journalist. "There's no way we're hiring a white male."

For as long as I can remember, the Left has been sneering at anyone who points out that the United States is a republic, not a democracy. They find the notion almost as unsophisticated and fascistic as flying a revolutionary-era flag. Others dismiss the democracy/republic debate as pedantic or a semantic distraction. They shouldn't.The other day, CNN's Donie O'Sullivan tried to make Trump fans who repeat this factual contention look like a bunch of dumb, lock stepping authoritarians. To explain the problem, CNN even recruited "democracy" expert Anne Applebaum, who noted that,
