t didn’t take long for the NFL to come out and condemn recent remarks from Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, saying his views, given during a commencement speech at Benedictine College over the weekend, “are not those of the NFL as an organization. The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger.”
What horrible, non-inclusive things did the 28-year-old Butker say? He committed the crime of giving public witness to his faith, espousing views every faithful Catholic holds — along with a great many non-Catholic Christians.

Answer this. Why are you even watching the "kneelers?" Why are you watching at all?

Well this will make we want to watch the NFL again... Not!

#1, are you asking me, or is that a rhetorical question? Because I clearly stated that I have not watched them for years.

If anyone can stomach it watch Netflix roast of Tom Brady.
You will see the true NFL. It is the crudest, filthiest "humor" i've ever seen.
former players and others using GD every where, F this, slut that.
That is who the NFL want to align themselves with.
I'll watch High School football to get my football fix.

#4, it's everywhere, which is why the NFL and the world in general cannot stand hearing anything that is good, right, and wholesome, from any source.
John Daniel Davidson, who I believe is Catholic, was on one of my favorite Lutheran podcasts recently to discuss the rise of paganism in America. It's ugliness is everywhere, which is why it is more important than ever to speak the truth and live a life of truth and distinction from the world.

It's long (and available on different podcast platforms, of course - though be careful, because there's another with the same name, but not the same values, I don't think LOL), but it's time well-invested.

After being Cowboys fans for over 50 years, my husband and I turned off the TV when the whole team (including Jerry Jones and the coaches) went out to the 50-yard line and knelt together.
We didn't watch a down of the NFL again until this past season when they NFL started to actually punish the few remaining anti-American kneelers. We quickly determined that we weren't really missing the NFL at all. The thrill was most certainly gone. But it was something to do on a Sunday afternoon.
But now we are permanently done with the NFL!!! There is nothing they can do that will ever make us watch another second of this America-hating league. Celebrate the sodomites and other LGBTQXYZ freaks, but condemn traditional American and Christian values. I guess that shows just how far this once-great republic has fallen!!!

NFL, NBA, MLB are dead to me. They will never get a plugged nickel of my money - - or a moment of my precious time.

Such a shame the NFL brainiacs and some players are ruining the sport.
NHL hockey is the way to go. Always been the best professional team sport in my opinion. Requires the most skill and a good amount of toughness.

For labeling themselves 'inclusive', the NFL is not very inclusive.

The NFL knows that enough people are addicted to watching football and will watch no matter what. As such, they can double and triple down on stupid.

I quit the NFL after having been a Redskins season ticket holder, when the NFL took a knee during the National Anthem in Wembley Stadium.
G-d Damn them all!

I have always liked football. When I was a teen, neighborhood games were a major event.
The NFL didn't used to be this way. Decent men dominated. Even today, one can see prayer circles (sometimes of opposing teams) on the field, if the video truck is not quick enough.
Money and immorality have ruined the product. Promos in between change of possession encourage gambling. Will I boycott this fall? Well, we don't have cable, so it's not like we're subsidizing them.
Do I care who wins the Super Bowl? Not really. I used to be regional in my loyalty (Steelers) and traditional (Packers).
Now I pull for the team with the most Christians.

I parted ways with the NFL with the "take a knee" nonsense and haven't looked back. Just one more reason to avoid them. That said, I hope Butker stands his ground and refuses to back down. God bless him.
