Rehoboth Beach, Del.— Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Sunday delivered some of the Biden administration’s strongest public criticism yet of Israel’s conduct of the war in Gaza, saying Israeli tactics have meant “a horrible loss of life of innocent civilians” but failed to neutralize Hamas leaders and fighters and could drive a lasting insurgency.
In a pair of TV interviews, Blinken underscored that the United States believes Israeli forces should “get out of Gaza,” but also is waiting to see credible plans from Israel for security and governance in the territory after the war.
Hamas has reemerged in parts of Gaza, Blinken said, and “heavy action” by Israeli forces
Comedian Bill Maher trashed adult film actress Stormy Daniels’ testimony against former President Donald Trump last week due to blatant contradictions from a past interview she gave with him.
Maher addressed Stormy’s testimony during a panel discussion on his HBO show last Friday night wherein he played a former clip of an interview with Stormy that blatantly contradicts many of the claims she made on the witness stand in the criminal trial against Trump.
“She’s a bad witness!” Maher flatly stated.
In the clip from the interview that Maher aired, Stormy said she had a consensual affair with former President Trump and that she never viewed herself as a #MeToo victim.
President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign dropped a nasty Mother’s Day video attacking former President Donald Trump.
The video focused on insulting Trump’s past policies regarding women such as abortion and separating illegal immigrant families. The attacks begin when the screen flashes “Happy Mother's Day" written on the bottom.
But then the screen goes blank with the words, "But not from Donald Trump” across it.
The campaign urged Americans to “stop Trump,” by doing the moms in their lives a favor.
“On Mother’s Day, a reminder: Donald Trump stands only for himself and not mothers across America and their families,” the video says.
Climate change has brought the world to the “breaking point,” Pope Francis asserted in his introduction to a 3-day climate summit to be held in the Vatican in May. (snip)
Curiously, Pope Francis has singled out the United States as particularly responsible for the climate “emergency” because of the “irresponsible lifestyle” of its citizens.

The Republican Party is enjoying an 11-point swing their way against the Democrat Party as the number of Americans expressing affiliation with their party has increased.
A Gallup poll conducted between April 1 and 22 showed that the Republican Party was enjoying a net average of 11 points in voters expressing affiliation with their party over the Democrats, compared to results in 2016.
The poll found that 47 percent of independent American voters said they leaned more toward the Republican Party, an increase from 42 percent in 2016. Meanwhile, 40 percent of voters said they leaned more toward the Democrat Party, a decrease from 46 percent

President Joe Biden is not only negotiating with terrorists but has gone so far as to negotiate for them, according to Republican Gov. Doug Burgum of North Dakota, who slammed the 81-year-old Democrat for withholding crucial munitions from the U.S.’s “top ally” Israel in order to “get votes in November from the pro-Hamas part of the Democrat party.”

A sheriff in Palm Beach County, Florida, is pointing fingers at the Biden administration for its failure to address the border crisis following an alleged sexual assault on an 11-year-old girl by a 20-year-old illegal immigrant. Marvin Dionel Perez Lopez, a Guatemalan national, is accused of the crime. He was reportedly released by Border Patrol agents into the United States despite entering the country illegally from Mexico.
Sheriff Ric Bradshaw slammed the Biden administration’s lax border policies, intimating that they led to the crime. Perez Lopez was arrested for assaulting the girl after her mother caught him in the act.

Biden's planning team is looking wistfully at the 2020 COVID convention when most events were virtual and the chances for disruption were greatly reduced. They are looking for ways to duplicate some of those events, like the pre-recorded roll call vote where individuals representing state delegations got creative and made their video vote an advertisement for their state. I always thought “ironclad” meant binding, but to President Biden it apparently means a pledge that’s good until it becomes politically inconvenient to stick to it.
