House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) popularity is soaring among the wrong party as he prepares to face a historic vote next week led by Republicans to remove his gavel and strip him of the Speakership. According to a RealClearPolitics poll average, Johnson has a 3.5 approval rating-- with 31.4 percent disapproving of his job as House Speaker and 27.6 percent approving.
His approval rating continues to plummet among Republican voters as he gains favorability with Democrats— mostly due to his support

Reps. Andy Ogles (R-TN), Tom Tiffany (R-WI), and Scott Perry (R-PA), as well as dozens of Senate Republicans, are moving to prevent President Joe Biden from resettling Palestinians in American communities.
In a letter to House Appropriators, Ogles, Tiffany, and Perry ask that a provision be included in the Fiscal Year 2025 spending bill that prohibits expenditures “of any funds to issue a visa or grant parole to any alien holding a passport issued by the Palestinian Authority.” The House Republicans write:
Whatever fanciful leftist notion to the contrary, the United States of America cannot be expected to absorb the rest of the world’s problems.

On Wednesday morning, The Gateway Pundit reported on the heroic University of North Carolina fraternity brothers who protected a fallen American flag from a pro-Hamas mob despite a violent onslaught from the radicals.
The melee started after police confirmed approximately 30 anti-Israel demonstrators were detained for refusing to leave an encampment erected on campus, and Students for Justice in Palestine organized a walkout in protest.
According to KVIA News, during the walkout, protesters tore down barricades and took down the American flag situated on the quad, and a Palestinian flag was raised in its place.

After a strong run in 2023 and early 2024, stock markets have been selling off lately. I cannot predict whether this market sell-off will continue, but I can state what has happened so far and speculate as to why it has happened and whether it will continue. In my opinion, anyone who says he can do more than speculate is deceived or lying.
After closing at an all-time high of 5,254 on March 28, the S&P 500, a broad measure of the U.S. stock market, fell to 4,967 (as of April 21). The 5.5% correction corresponds with some troubling inflationary news, and it may

Stormy Daniels' lawyer Keith Davidson sent a text to National Enquirer editor Dylan Howard saying 'what have we done' as it dawned on them Donald Trump would be elected president in 2016.
'Oh my God', Howard replied in the early hours of November 9 as the polls showed Trump was ahead.
The bombshell messages shown in the hush money trial reveal the attorney and the tabloid executive feel they somehow helped the Republican get into the White House. They had been in close contact when Stormy Daniels first came forward with her affair allegations and during negotiations with Michael Cohen for the $130,000 payment to keep her quiet.

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough said Thursday on his show “Morning Joe” that viewers should change the channel if they were too stupid to realize that the protests on college campuses are hurting President Joe Biden’s chances of winning in November.
Discussing the Vietnam War protests, Scarborough said, “I was young and remember my parents asking, what in the world is going on in this country? And, of course, you know, they were raised in the Great Depression and rural Georgia. It was kind of hard for them to hear rich kids on the campus of Harvard are taking over or taking over campuses at Columbia.”

Police officers behaved admirably by arresting many “radical left,” anti-Israel “lunatics” on the campuses of Columbia University and the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), former President Donald Trump said Thursday.
Police arrested hundreds of protestors in recent days. Early Tuesday morning, Columbia University students seized a university building, smashing windows and lowering an “Intifada” banner. Police forcibly reclaimed the buildings later in the day. President Joe Biden broke his virtual silence Thursday on the nationwide Gaza campus protests, saying the United States was not authoritarian but insisting “order must prevail.”
In a televised address from the White House, Biden added that there was “no place” for anti-Semitism on university campuses, which have been roiled by pro-Palestinian demonstrations amid Israel’s war on Hamas in Gaza. The 81-year-old Democrat — whose reelection bid in November faces a challenge from voters opposed to the war — said there had to be a balance between the right to peaceful protest and the need to prevent violence.

Donald Trump faces more contempt fines for violating the gag order in his hush money trial when he returns to court on Thursday.
Prosecutors are seeking a $1,000 fines each for four comments from the ex-president that attacked witnesses, jurors and others closely connected to the case.
The 77-year-old will also listen to more testimony from Keith Davidson, the lawyer who represented both Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal. He is one of multiple key players expected to be called to the stand in advance of prosecutors’ star witness, Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer and personal fixer.

Washington— Former President Donald Trump has secured an additional $1.6 billion worth of shares in Trump Media, according to a regulatory filing this week.
Based on the company’s stock hitting certain price benchmarks, Trump was awarded an additional 36 million shares in the company that owns his social media platform Truth Social. That brings his total ownership to more than 114 million shares, which based on Wednesday’s closing stock price, are worth about $5.2 billion. For now, the value of those shares is considered “paper wealth.” Trump is prohibited from selling any shares for six months after Trump Media went public without securing a waiver from the company’s board.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg did not say Wednesday whether he would prosecute protestors who broke into and occupied Hamilton Hall at Columbia University.
Bragg, who is currently prosecuting the case against former President Donald Trump, did not respond to multiple requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation asking whether pro-Palestinian protestors arrested on Tuesday would be charged. The New York Police Department (NYPD) arrested 119 protestors at Columbia on Tuesday night, along with 173 protestors at the separate City University of New York (CUNY) protest, where students occupied an administration building.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) sounds the alarm that the roughly 300 pro-Hamas protestors arrested by NYPD Tuesday night at Columbia University and City College of New York may not be students— but rather part of radical terrorist organizations. Adams said that when he became aware that the majority of the pro-terrorism protestors weren’t students but professional agitators, he promised to fight for the American “way of life” as the demonstrators continued to harass Jewish communities.
“Once I became aware of the outside agitators who were part of this operation, as Columbia mentioned in their letter
