NPR Editor-in-Chief Edith Chapin hit back at the scathing op-ed from a veteran NPR editor who wrote about how the outlet “lost America’s trust” and has said his colleagues “secretly agree.”
In response to The Free Press article from NPR Senior Business Editor Uri Berliner, titled “I’ve Been at NPR for 25 Years. Here’s How We Lost America’s Trust,” Chapin wrote in a memo to employees, “I and my colleagues on the leadership team strongly disagree with Uri’s assessment of the quality of our journalism and the integrity of our newsroom processes.”

25-year NPR veteran Uri Berliner recently came forward to call out his employer and colleagues for being liberally biased in a way that was harming the credibility of their reporting. And in an appearance on NewsNation’s Cuomo, host Chris Cuomo shared his concern that NPR would target him and “kick [him] to the curb.” But Berliner said he was getting a lot of support from colleagues, including from surprising sources.
“On that issue of media trust, there was a bombshell today, a whistleblower in effect on bias in the media,” Cuomo announced at the top of the show. “Among his claims: NPR was stacked with like-minded people who appealed to

President Joe Biden's reelection campaign on Wednesday unleashed a new organizing weapon in their arsenal, in an effort to rally LGBTQ+ support for their campaign.
Campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez described LGBTQ+ voters as a secret weapon for the upcoming election.
'LGBTQ+ voters are a force to be reckoned with,' she said in a statement to the Advocate. 'They were critical to our victory in 2020, and they will be critical to winning again this November.' The campaign drafted new messaging to appeal to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer voters, urging them to unite behind the 'Out for Biden-Harris' program.

Freshman Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) suggested that black Americans should be exempt from paying taxes as a form of reparations but then said it might not work because of the black people who are “not paying taxes in the first place.”
Crockett, who recently made headlines for perpetuating the debunked myth that U.S. border patrol officers “whipped” Haitian migrants, was giving an interview on “The Black Lawyers Podcast” when she brought up the idea.“I don’t remember which celebrity, but it was actually a celebrity,” the progressive congresswoman recalled to host Jehan “J” Carter of the proposal she saw — apparently from an unnamed famous person.

Joe Biden sat down for a one-on-one softball interview with Democrat-friendly Univision.
Biden attacked the Second Amendment during his interview and told Univision host Enrique Acevedo that he used to teach law school.
“I used to teach the Second Amendment in law school … From the very beginning, there were limitations. You couldn’t own a cannon!” Biden said.
Of course, the Univision host did not push back on Joe Biden’s lies.

On Tuesday, a 25-year veteran of NPR who still serves as an editor at the outlet thoroughly exposed the left-wing network's bias and its attempt to quash stories inconvenient to the Democratic Party. In a self-written article, Uri Berliner laid out multiple examples of how NPR has heavily skewed its news coverage while allowing essentially no viewpoint diversity in the newsroom. Some examples Berliner gave included the "news" organization's coverage of the COVID-19 origins, the Russian collusion hoax involving Donald Trump, and the Hunter Biden laptop story.
The lab leak theory came in for rough treatment almost immediately, dismissed as racist or a right-wing conspiracy theory.

Donald Trump launched a scathing attack on President Biden's handling of inflation just hours before buying Chick-Fil-A for an entire Atlanta restaurant.
The former President took to his social media platform Truth Social to pounce on the news that the rate of annual inflation rose again to 3.5 percent in March.
Later in the day, he was filmed in a jovial mood as he visited a Chick-Fil-A where he picked up the tab for the entire restaurant. The latest inflation data had already caused stocks to tumble amid fears it will deter the Federal Reserve from slashing interest rates which are already at a 23-year-high.

FOX News reporter Jacqui Heinrich exposed the Biden Administration’s complete absence of moral clarity at the latest White House press briefing.
Jacqui Heinrich asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre to explain why they were not condemning the anti-American chants by Dearborn Islamists but instead were calling Republicans “murderers” for opposing the failures and climbing costs of Obamacare.
Curtis Houck, the Managing Editor of Newsbusters, posted the transcript of this questioning in a thread on Twitter-X.

With a few short-lived exceptions during the Reagan/Bush era and after 9/11, more registered voters have identified as Democrats than Republicans. In fact, since about 2003 — more than 20 years already — Democrats have consistently outnumbered Republicans, sometimes by as much as ten points.
What a difference four years of His Fraudulency Joe Biden makes.Per the far-left New York Times:
In the run-up to the 2020 election, more voters across the country identified as Democrats than Republicans. But four years into Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s presidency, that gap has shrunk, and the United States now sits almost evenly divided between Democrats and Republicans.

During an interview with Univision that took place last Wednesday and aired on Tuesday, President Joe Biden said that the White House is “examining” if he has the power to unilaterally shut down the border and that while “some have suggested I should just go ahead and try it, and if I get shut down by the court, I get shut down by the court,” “we’re trying to work through that right now.”
Interviewer Enrique Acevedo asked, “Have you made a final decision on taking executive [action], in terms of what you want to do at the border, that includes the power to shut down the border, as it was suggested?”

During an interview with Univision that took place last Wednesday and aired on Tuesday, President Joe Biden stated that he would consider taking further executive action on guns and criticized 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump because Trump “famously told the NRA that, don’t worry, no one’s going to touch your guns” if Trump won.
Interviewer Enrique Acevedo asked, “[G]un violence remains the number one cause of death for children in America. Latinos have made it a top priority across the country, especially in places like El Paso and Uvalde in Texas. Your administration called on Congress to pass common-sense gun laws, but that’s unlikely to happen
