About 18 months ago, my colleague Fuzzy Slippers fisked The New York Times opinion piece for asserting there was a “time and place” for cannibalism. What new horrors do they have in store for us? Well, cannibalism, of course. What better way to feed the masses than to feed them the masses, presumably the “good” unwashed get to consume the “bad” ones.[Snip]Ethically, cannibalism poses fewer issues than you might imagine. If a body can be bequeathed with consent to medical science, why can’t it be left to feed the hungry? Our aversion has been explained in various ways.

Evil begets evil. Be ever mindful: “Look out for the dogs, look out for the evildoers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh.” (Philippians 3:2)

I suggested in an earlier thread that a bounty should placed upon the people who would do these things to their fellow humans.
I amend that proposal.
I want to serve these people to each other.
I want to watch as these evil creatures choose between starving or eating their fellow Men of Davos.
I want to see their eagerness to live knowing that they too will be devoured.
I want to make a fortune selling pay per view of the spectacle...

Soylent Green anyone? For the young readers, that's an old movie starring Charleton Heston - watch & learn. (I think of that old movie every time I see the commercials for AG1, that green "supplement" drink) It is as if dems took their playbook from old movies & books (1984).
And to #4: GREAT POST!!! HA!!!

fwiw my private opinion is that back when population growth was a huge concern among some (stupid) people, it became a thing to talk up bug eating or tiny spaces in order to make people feel the (imaginary) tradeoff between my prosperity and their babies. To motivate people to just Find Ways to discourage birth. Now the population is expected to crash, but ghoulishness is a fad, and they can't stop themselves nor stop their minions who think they have caught on. jmo. stupid immoral jackasses.

So, that's next! Let babies be born that had been targeted to be aborted. let them grow to 15 pounds or so and then kill and eat them. Just what I would have expected from these people.

Someone is pretty fed up with his friends.
They want us to eat bugs and eat each other. They want us to worship the weather and fear it. They want us in abject poverty when we were doing pretty well before. Why are they trying to turn us into Africans?

I've read that those who've eaten human flesh, say it has the consistency and taste of pork. I'll take their word for it. I'd rather starve.

I don't want any meat that is old and tough or died from cancer ,TB ,hepatitis, the list goes on and on, I expect my meat to come from healthy animals without disease. Healthy people do not die except in accidents, and there aren't enough accidents to make cannibalism worthwhile, Unless Government has a hand in the accidents.

I re-watched Soylent Green just a few weeks ago!
There are quite a few similarities with current society, which is prophetic since the movie was made in the earl 1970's. Charlton Heston gives a great performance, and Edward G, Robinson is terrific.
So sad to see how the concept of self-euthanasia is encouraged due to the loss of hope in humanity to fight the corporate/government fascists.

#24,#25~ Apologize in advance for being confused with the seeming criticism of two Legal Insurrection journalists. Neither the author of this article (Leslie Eastman) nor her colleague (Fuzzy Slippers) endorsed cannibalism. “Fuzzy Slippers fisked The New York Times opinion piece for asserting there was a ‘time and place’ for cannibalism.” Fuzzy Slippers “fisked” (criticized/refuted) the NYT opinion piece written in 2022 and interjected sarcasm for emphasis. Ms. Eastman writes about a New Scientist article published in February 2024 and makes clear she is not supportive of cannibalism: “I shudder to think what these recent headlines portend about our future.”
