Furious Harlem residents forced New York Mayor Eric Adams into a humiliating u-turn on plans to house migrants in an empty luxury apartment building after they spotted bunk-beds being discreetly delivered.
The WA condominium off 130th Street promised buyers an indoor swimming pool, marble bathrooms and a rooftop running track, before the project was put on ice in a neighborhood with a chronic housing shortage.
Schools, nursing homes and a string of landmark hotels have been requisitioned to house many of the 170,000 migrants who have arrived in the city since the spring of 2022.

A coalition of Democrats in the U.S. House, led by self-proclaimed atheist Rep. Jared Huffman, has written to Speaker Mike Johnson to express members’ rage over a Christian pastor’s recent House invocation, and to express their intolerance for his views. It was Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel in Chino Hills who had been invited to deliver the invocation and, as a Christian, spoke of a “coming day of judgment.”Democrats responded by claiming Hibbs is “radical Christian Nationalist who helped fuel the January 6th insurrection and [who] has a long record of hateful vitriol toward non-Christians, immigrants, and members of the LGBTQ community.”

Former Attorney General William Barr has not been kind to Donald Trump since he left his post at the Justice Department. He opposed the former president’s actions after the 2020 election and has said that Trump's returning to the White House would be a chaotic “horror show.” He’s also called for the former president to be replaced as the leader of the Republican Party, warning he would burn the house down if he remains as the face of the GOP. But a lot can change in a year or two. According to Axios'

The latest demographic data from Canada showed the male population increasing by 3.4 percent, while females grew by only 2.9 percent, the widest disparity between the sexes in almost half a century.
Analysts pointed to heavy immigration from military-age males as a driving force in the demographic shift.
Bloomberg BNN noted on Thursday that almost all of Canada’s net population growth is due to immigration, “especially among foreign students and temporary workers.”
“From the late 1970s to around the early 2010s, Canada’s population increasingly skewed female, but the trend has been reversing

Finally, after 378 days, Joe Biden got around to visiting East Palestine, Ohio.
The town had been subjected to all sorts of concerns about environmental toxins since a train derailment on Feb. 2, 2023. Many of the residents there still have medical concerns. But Biden couldn't be bothered to go to the town -- despite saying he would -- until now, until the 2024 election is underway, and he realizes he needs Ohio. That's despite going on all kinds of vacations since then, and even visiting Ukraine. He has shown where his priorities are. (X Video) People in the area were not happy and they sounded off

Democrats disapprove of the U.S. government’s handling of migrant crossings at the southern border more now than at any other recorded point during Joe Biden’s presidency, according to a new report from the Pew Research Center.
Seventy-three percent of surveyed Democrats rate the government’s handling of the influx of migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border as “somewhat bad” or “very bad,” according to the report — only 11 percentage points lower than Democrats’ disapproval ratings in 2019 during Donald Trump’s presidency.
The numbers from the report released Thursday mark a grim trend for Biden.

More black veterans need to file for — and receive — mental health disability checks, because, according to President Biden’s Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), being black and declared mentally disabled is a more “equitable” way to treat our nation’s warriors.
According to the VA’s released on Wednesday, “while Black Veterans receive VA benefits at higher rates than other Veterans – their grant rates for disability compensation are lower for mental health conditions, including post-traumatic stress disorder.” “A higher percentage of Black Veterans currently receive disability compensation benefits than white Veterans for mental health conditions (21.7% vs. 12.7%).

President Biden will again be the Democratic nominee for president of the United States of America. Even after a special prosecutor in his own Department of Justice described the 46th president as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” the only path to a replacement is Mr. Biden himself stepping down. That’s not going to happen.
Sure, it’s fun to speculate. For months, pundits on social media have been promoting the theory that California Gov. Gavin Newsom would sweep in at the last minute and save his party. Those rumors seemed to die down after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Fox News host Sean Hannity provided Mr. Newsom

On Feb. 3, 2022, just before 9 p.m. Eastern, a Norfolk Southern train derailed near East Palestine, Ohio, a small Midwestern town of about 4,800 people near the Ohio border with Pennsylvania.
At least 11 of the train cars that derailed contained hazardous materials. Several cars were carrying vinyl chloride, a cancer-causing substance.

A New York judge ordered that the former president pay more than $350 million — and limit his doing business in the state where he made his name — after finding Friday that he inflated his net worth by billions to dupe banks and insurers over the course of a decade. The ruling from Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron, if it withstands an inevitable appeal, could cause Trump, 77, to be stripped of control over Midtown’s Trump Tower and his other iconic New York properties.

Joe Biden made some remarks on the death of Alexi Navalny on Friday.
Biden blamed Russian leader Vladimir Putin for his death, emphasizing, "Putin is responsible." While he made a brief tribute to Navalny, he turned it back to his constant complaint, saying that we had to provide more money to Ukraine because of this. He claimed, as he has in the past, that the "failure to support Ukraine will never be forgotten."
Then you could see him squinting and reading off the teleprompter as he attacked former President Donald Trump, but his brain seemed to break in mid-point as he just stopped and looked so old

Mawhinney died at his home in Baker City, Oregon, on Feb. 12, the Baker City Herald reported.
He was 75.
Born in Lakeview, Oregon, Mawhinney began his legendary career in 1967 after he graduated from high school and enlisted in the Marine Corps that year to fight in Vietnam.

From the moment that Democrat Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis abruptly hurled herself into the court hearing on Thursday, it was obvious what she was there to do. And it’s hard to even blame her because it’s the only option she has left.
Before she was even asked to appear — before it was even clear she would be required to testify in the hearing about her relationship with Nathan Wade that could zero out her criminal case against Donald Trump — Willis entered the scene in a painfully bright pink dress and told the court she was ready for her close up. Her eyebrows frozen in a defiant arch,

Jack Smith wants to put Donald Trump in jail because Trump aggressively interpreted aspects of the Electoral Count Act. However, other people (not connected to Trump) were far more aggressive. They decided to completely ignore a constitutional requirement that had been firmly settled by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Who were those lawbreakers? They were revered justices of the Supreme Court of Hawaii. Will Jack Smith or Merrick Garland put those justices in jail? Will the Hawaii bar association suspend their licenses? Will anyone even comment on their defiance? Don’t hold your breath.

The deadly shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory parade that killed one and injured nearly two dozen was the result of a personal dispute that exploded into violence — and cops have detained three people who may be at fault, authorities said Thursday. Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves emphasized that the Wednesday afternoon attack on the west side of the city’s landmark Union Station had nothing to do with homegrown terrorism or violent extremism. Instead, the shooting “appeared to be a dispute between several people that ended in gunfire,” Graves told reporters at a Thursday press conference.

In his press conference following the report on his retention of classified documents, Joe Biden lashed out at special counsel Robert Hur for saying the president has such “diminished faculties,” it would be difficult to criminally charge him. One of the key and scripted moments was Biden angrily denouncing Hur for raising his son’s death. Many in the media eagerly replayed the clip the next day, calling Hur’s question outrageous, callous and unprofessional. But NBC reports it was not Hur but Biden himself who raised Beau Biden’s death.

The judge overseeing former President Donald Trump's Georgia election interference case is set to hear arguments over motions to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, primarily over accusations from Trump co-defendant Michael Roman that she benefited financially from a "personal, romantic relationship" with prosecutor Nathan Wade, who she hired for the case. Willis and Wade, in a court filing, admitted to the relationship but said it "does not amount to a disqualifying conflict of interest" and that the relationship "has never involved direct or indirect financial benefit to District Attorney Willis."

The evidence of President Joe Biden’s criminal activity continues to grow. As has often been said, the wheels of justice grind slowly, but we’d like to see them get in gear in time for voters to know that their president is a crook.
During testimony earlier this week before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, former Hunter Biden associate Tony Bobulinski said “it is clear to me that Joe Biden was ‘the Brand’ being sold by the Biden family.”
“The Biden family business was Joe Biden, period.”
Simply put, Bobulinski said Joe has been the recognizable name that the Bidens sold to amass wealth that few Americans can conceive of.

A new survey found that two-thirds of full-time American workers say their income has not kept up with the rate of inflation.
Rasmussen Reports released new survey results on Feb. 15 showing that 66% of American adults with full-time jobs have incomes outpaced by the rate of inflation, which continues to increase (though allegedly at a slower rate). Less than a third, or 29%, responded that their incomes did keep pace with the inflation rate. These numbers have worsened since October, according to Rasmussen, when 55% of full-time U.S. workers reported not having the income to keep pace with inflation.
