Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) celebrated Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) with the reveal of the new immigration plan, adding that the two have “never worked more closely.”
“I have never worked more closely with Leader McConnell on any piece of legislation as we did on this,” Schumer told reporters on Sunday, according to Andrew Desiderio of Punchbowl News. (X) As Breitbart News reported on Sunday, the newly revealed bill had some concessions made on border security along with other glaring red flags:
The establishment authors of the bill have largely hidden its contents — along with many possible loopholes, exceptions, modifications, and caveats

President Joe Biden unleashed on Donald Trump during a fundraiser in Nevada on Sunday, indicating he's considered punching his Republican rival and noting he has to 'hold his Irish temper' around him.
The fighting words came as Biden talked about Trump's reported comments that fallen American soldiers were 'suckers' and 'losers,' growing angry as he brought up his late son Beau, who served in the Delaware National Guard in Iraq, before he died in 2015.
'I have to hold my Irish temper. I'm glad I wasn't with him. I'm not sure what I would've done. He said they're all suckers and losers,' Biden said of Trump.

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) on Sunday railed against the Senate “border” bill, saying that she would never vote to “make illegal immigration legal.”
The Senate released its long-awaited border bill, which as Breitbart News editor Neil Munro described, would only increase the flow of immigrants into America.Blackburn, a staunch conservative, said that America should not tolerate one migrant crossing the border illegally. She said in a written statement:
It is against the law for an individual to illegally cross into our country — it’s incredible that still needs to be said. We are a nation of law and order, yet the Biden administration has allowed over 8.8 million

President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is praising a Senate bill from Sens. James Lankford (R-OK), Chris Murphy (D-CT), and Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) mostly for preserving the administration’s massive parole pipeline that has freed hundreds of thousands of border crossers into American communities.
Late Sunday evening, the senators released their highly-anticipated bill that seeks to explode immigration to the United States even as Biden has welcomed a record number of foreign nationals via the southern border.
The bill, among other things, preserves Biden’s parole pipeline for Cubans, Nicaraguans, Haitians, and Venezuelans arriving at the border

House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) on Sunday said that the establishment “border” bill is an “absolute non-starter.”
The Senate released its emergency supplemental spending bill that contains, among other things, an establishment border bill, which as Breitbart News reported, would do little to stymy the migrant crisis at the southern border. (Photo) Stefanik wrote:
This Joe Biden/Chuck Schumer Open Border Bill is an absolute non-starter and will further incentivize thousands of illegals to pour in across our borders daily. House Republicans have already passed HR2 – the Secure Our Border Act, which would actually secure the border and return to

Donald Trump's attempt to be reinstated on the ballot in Colorado could hinge on interpretations of the Constitution made in the immediate aftermath of the Civil War, legal experts believe.
Trump was declared ineligible to appear on the Colorado ballot on December 19.
The decision marked the first time in history that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment has been used to disqualify a presidential candidate, and the U.S. Supreme Court on January 5 agreed to hear Trump's appeal against the Colorado Supreme Court's decision.

An Indiana border city is undergoing a makeover following six decades of decline which earned it the moniker 'Scary Gary'.
The now crime-ravaged metropolis was named after lawyer Elbert Henry Gary, who founded US Steel and built what is still the conglomerate's biggest plant there in the summer of 1908.
Gary grew into a prosperous industrial powerhouse which provided the raw materials for many of America's bridges, tunnels and skyscrapers over the first half of the 20th century.

A Senate bill would provide a measly $650 million to continue building a border wall at the United States-Mexico border while Ukraine would be sent $48 billion in American taxpayer money.
The bill, negotiated by Sens. James Lankford (R-OK), Chris Murphy (D-CT), and Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), would give Ukraine nearly $50 billion in U.S. tax dollars to defend its borders from Russian invasion. At the same time, the bill spends just $650 million “to build and reinforce miles and miles of new border wall,” according to Lankford’s office. That funding is likely to build only a couple dozen miles of border wall.

The Senate has released its long-awaited “border” bill that reportedly increases the inflow of legalized immigrants into Americans’ communities, workplaces, and schools.
Titled ‘‘Emergency National Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024’,” the 370-page bill was released at 6:40 p.m. on Sunday.
It is accompanied by a multi-billion dollar appropriations bill intended to fund the resources needed to register, release, transport, and house migrants in Americans’ coastal cities and inland communities.

Joe Biden’s team is ‘concerned’ Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report, which is expected to be released soon, will include ’embarrassing’ photos of stolen classified documents stored in Biden’s Delaware garage.
Robert Hur is not expected to charge Joe Biden even though he stole classified documents and improperly stored them in his Delaware garage and other unsecured locations.
Rather, the special counsel will release a report on his investigation.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott continued his long-running feud with New York City Mayor Eric Adams over the disaster at the border, calling his plan to give migrants in the city pre-paid credit cards 'insanity.'
It was revealed yesterday that migrants housed in one of the city's hotels will receive pre-paid cards with which to buy food and baby supplies, instead of the city providing meals the migrants often did not want.
Adams estimated the $53 million scheme will save the city $600,000 a month, or $7.2 million annually, drawing outrage from many across the country, including native New Yorkers like rapper 50 Cent.
