The remains of a new dad killed at the World Trade Center on 9/11 have finally been identified more than two decades later — thanks to groundbreaking new DNA technology.
John Ballantine Niven, 44, of Oyster Bay, Long Island, was on the 105th floor of the South Tower when he was killed on that fateful Tuesday — leaving behind his wife and 18-month-old son.
The new father was the senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions at Aon Risk Services.
His remains have been positively identified using breakthrough DNA sequencing technology, along with a mitochondrial DNA analysis and other procedures that have been refined since the 2001 terror attack,

Back in the good old days of Roe v. Wade (unless you were a fetus) we paid poor people to have abortions. Ok, we didn’t pay the money directly to them, but instead paid it through Medicaid to their abortionist.
Abortions that were not paid for by Medicaid were almost always paid for by private insurance or were done for free at abortion clinics as a “public service.” It’s safe to say that the killing of hardly any babies was paid for by the mother, except perhaps in a lifelong emotion way. That’s the way we set up the system. We didn’t want such women to have babies.

Campaign momentum for the former president was viewed as “pretty disheartening” for a crying congressman turned CNN benchwarmer in a Bible-citing lamentation. With only 20 of the 1,215 delegates needed to secure the GOP presidential nomination awarded thus far, corporate media has appeared all-too willing to skip ahead to the general election with all the legal trouble that entails for former President Donald Trump. Even acknowledging the primary contest was not yet over came with sorrowful analysis from former Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R).

Several U.S. personnel were injured in a missile attack Saturday night by Iranian-backed rebels on Al-Asad Airbase in Iraq, the Pentagon said.
At about 6:30 p.m. local time, multiple ballistic missiles and rockets were fired by Iranian-backed militants from western Iraq, U.S. Central Command said in a statement posted on social media.
The base's air defense systems intercepted "most of the missiles," but "others impacted the base," CENTCOM reported. Multiple U.S. personnel were being evaluated for traumatic brain injuries, CENTCOM said, and at least one Iraqi soldier was also wounded. No further details were immediately provided. This marks the 144th attack on U.S. troops

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley on Saturday questioned Donald Trump’s mental fitness after he appeared to confuse her with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi when talking about the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol.

I wasn’t even in DC on January 6. I wasn’t in office then,” Haley said. “They’re saying he got confused. That he was talking about something else. That he was talking about Nancy Pelosi. Rep. Elise Stefanik: Every election, we say, is the most important election of our lifetime. But this one, this Election, this NoVember, we know the fate of our great nation is at stake. The Biden administration has done all they can to go after anyone having anything to do with Jan. 6. Indeed, it's more than three years later and they still seem to be going after people, even for just being around the Capitol at the time. They're tracked down all kinds of people across the country. So it seems a bit odd that with video evidence of the culprit who allegedly planted the bombs at the DNC and the RNC on Jan. 5 that they haven't been able to hunt down that person.

Ever since October 7, the antisemitism that’s long been festering beneath the surface at Harvard University has been on plain view. Whether it was the anti-Jewish genocidal chants from pro-Hamas protestors or Claudine Gay’s insistence that the “context” behind those chants was insufficient to trigger Harvard’s speech codes, Harvard was exposed as a hotbed of virulent antisemitism. In the latest news out of Harvard, it turns out that an appointee to Harvard’s antisemitism task force is…yes, an antisemite. Just yesterday, Harvard’s interim president proudly announced the formation of a “Presidential Task Force on Combating Antisemitism.” Just to keep things equitable, though,

Previously, Senator Scott endorsed Lisa Murkowski despite President Trump campaigning for her removal.
As noted, Senator Scott is a DeceptiCon, so his endorsement of President Trump over the naturally aligned DeceptiCon candidate Nikki Haley is somewhat of a surprise.
However, against a backdrop where President Trump is being viewed as almost impossible to beat in the primary and the general election, the club insiders need to position accordingly.

The nation’s ruling class holds deeply authoritarian opinions widely divorced from the rest of the American electorate, finds a survey out this week. It found nearly 60 percent of American “elites” think there is too much individual freedom in America. Meanwhile, nearly 60 percent of registered voters have the exact opposite opinion, reporting the United States has too much top-down control, limiting liberty.
The study from the Committee to Unleash Prosperity found ruling class opinions on climate policies were particularly harsh and despotic. More than two-thirds of the 1 percent support rationing vital energy and food sources in an attempt to control the globe’s weather.

Henry Agard Wallace, the 33rd vice president of the United States, was a peculiar fellow.
He didn’t drink, smoke or swear.
He didn’t like telling jokes, reading fiction or playing golf. In fact, he hated any pursuit in which he could discern no scope for self-improvement.
While highly intelligent, Wallace struggled in social situations, as author Benn Steil explains in “The World That Wasn’t: Henry Wallace and the Fate of The American Century” (Avid Reader Press).
Steil believes Wallace actually had Asperger’s syndrome, a form of autism spectrum disorder first highlighted by Austrian physician Hans Asperger in 1944 — Wallace’s final year as vice president.

In retrospect, perhaps Fani Willis should have kept her mouth shut. Yesterday, the embattled Fulton County DA filed a motion in the Wade v Wade divorce action asking to quash a subpoena for her testimony. Rather than just argue that her testimony would be irrelevant in a case where both spouses agree that the marriage was “irretrievably broken” — certainly an arguable position — Willis accused Jocelyn Wade of “obstruction” of her prosecution of Donald Trump et al. And then Willis went one step further in accusing Mrs. Wade of infidelity as the cause of the divorce.
Big mistake. Big, big mistake. And when I say “big,” I mean monumental:

After discovering details of the relationship between Nathan Wade and Fani Willis, lawyers representing Mrs. Joycelyn Wade wanted a deposition of Fani Willis. At issue are the finances in the marriage and Mrs. Wade’s discovery that her husband, Nathan Wade,

CNN commentator Adam Kinzinger said Friday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360°” that it was “pretty disheartening” that former President Donald Trump is showing momentum in the 2024 Republican presidential nomination race.
Discussing the news that former Republican candidate Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) will endorse Trump ahead of the New Hampshire primary, Kinzinger said, “I never expected this from Tim. I know him as a decent man, somebody concerned about character. He chose to put himself and his political career above others.”
He continued, “Nikki Haley appointed Tim Scott to the Senate. She made him a U.S. Senator where he could then become a national figure

Jill Biden is sponsoring a White House “Youth Art” Easter egg decorating contest for children of National Guard servicemembers that bans religious themed eggs, even though Easter is a religious holiday that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ–and the contest announcement states the eggs will be displayed during the Christian and Jewish observances of Easter and Passover.
The youth artists are encouraged to submit designs that reflect their daily lives as children of servicemembers but may not feature “religious symbols, overtly religious themes.” The contest rules state entries “must be consistent with the image and values of Sponsor”, Jill Biden.

Joe Biden on Friday welcomed mayors attending the US Conference of Mayors Winter Meeting to the East Room at the White House.
Biden incoherently slurred his way through a speech to the mayors. He also started shouting out of nowhere.
WATCH: [video]
At one point Biden threatened millions of Trump supporters, but he bungled that too.
(snip)
Biden also gave some creepy marriage advice.
“I tell every young man that’s telling me, ‘I’m thinking of getting married. You have any advice?’ I said, ‘Yeah, pick a family with five sisters or more,'” Biden said slurring his words. “That way one of them always loves you!”

It was a routine meeting of the Western Hemisphere Subcommittee. [SNIP] Chairwoman Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-Fla.) was conducting a hearing on U.S. relations with Cuba when Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) interrupted the hearing to speak about her desire for the U.S. to reestablish relations with the island nation. Salazar was having none of it. Lee is not a member of the Committee, and according to long-standing House rules, there would have to be a unanimous vote of Committee members to allow her to speak. “Today, I exercised my authority as Subcommittee Chairwoman to not allow an off-Committee Member to spread communist propaganda during my Cuba hearing."

They're not sending their best.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested an illegal alien accused of committing child sex crimes in northern Virginia. This latest arrest adds to the growing number of recent ICE apprehensions in the residential DMV area.
Deportation officers with Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Washington, D.C.'s Mobile Criminal Apprehension Team apprehended a 27-year-old Guatemalan national charged with crimes related to soliciting a young child and indecent exposure.
Federal authorities arrested the illegal on Jan. 3 at his residence in Falls Church, Virginia, after he was presumably let out on bail.
"This undocumented Guatemalan national posed a significant threat to minors in our Virginia communities,"

It’s a brazen act that can only be explained due to changing attitudes about crime and public safety. A woman is caught intentionally running over a NYPD officer. On January 17, Sahara Dula is seen plowing over a cop reportedly trying to stop her from driving in the wrong direction. Based on court documents, Dula admitted to hitting the officer, channeling the usual ‘f**k the police’ vibe. She hoped her assault would make the officer, who is black, rethink his employment with the NYPD. She also said she smoked marijuana before getting behind the wheel (via NBC New York): [Tweet, video]
The incident occurred near East 71st Street on Park Avenue

As RedState previously reported, Joe Biden was in North Carolina on Thursday to tout millions of dollars in high-speed Internet investments that he claimed will "connect 16,000 additional homes and businesses, bringing high-speed Internet all across the state of North Carolina."

As we also reported, Biden's penchant for confusion showed no signs of letting up, as evidenced when he called out for a Democratic Congresswoman whom he said he'd taken a photo with earlier but who in reality was actually in Washington, D.C. He also declared at the community center event he was speaking at that he'd created "440 new jobs in North Carolina alone just since I came into office!"

Maine’s Democrat secretary of state, Shenna Bellows, is so determined to promote “trust in our free, safe and secure elections” that she wants to make sure voters in the state aren’t allowed to vote for the leading GOP contender, former President Donald Trump.
After Trump appealed Bellows' unilateral decision to keep his name off the Republican primary ballot, Superior Court Judge Michaela Murphy called for a hold on her decision while the nation waits for the Supreme Court to weigh in on a similar situation in Colorado.
Waiting for the nation’s top court to render judgment was just too inconvenient for Bellows,

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) eviscerated Senate Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) on Thursday after Durbin accused Cruz of "prejudicial treatment" and “bigotry” for opposing the nomination of Adeel Mangi, Joe Biden’s judicial nominee for a U.S. Circuit Judge position in the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in New Jersey, and hiding behind a statement for the left-leaning Anti-Defamation League while doing so.
“You have just impugned my character by making a false accusation, and I will say it is disgraceful!” Cruz told Durbin on Thursday. “Did you respond to any of the substance of what I said? No! You just attacked me and called me a bigot,

Andrew Crapuchettes, CEO of RedBalloon, a company that links non-woke job seekers with prospective employers, told Breitbart News that it is more advantageous to tell companies that you are an alumni of Turning Point USA rather than Harvard University in today’s America.
“It is more important to say, ‘I’m a TPUSA alumni’ than ‘I went to Harvard University’ for many of these small businesses, which is crazy to think about, that we’re in an America where that’s true,” Crapuchettes told Breitbart News at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest conference in Phoenix, Arizona, last month.

I reported part of Joe Biden at the Mayors' Meeting at the White House on Friday, how his weirdness is getting worse, including messing up Pete Buttigieg's name, telling a strange story about how you should marry someone with five sisters, and saying a questionable word when describing what his wife would do. But it turns out that was just a teaser for far more weirdness and incoherence in the afternoon. I don't know how they can trot this guy out before a bipartisan group of mayors. Even if the Democrats accept this, you're going to have Republican mayors

Dailymail.com was asked to leave Nikki Haley's meet-and-greet with voters in New Hampshire on Friday morning and was told it is banned from covering her future campaign events.
The ban came after DailyMail.com published a story Friday morning exclusively reporting that Haley falsely denied cheating on her husband when she was accused of engaging in two extramarital affairs during her 2010 South Carolina gubernatorial campaign.
The Haley campaign didn't respond to requests for comment on the story even though DailyMail.com gave them 24 hours to do so.

As you may recall, during the 2020 election, left wing groups used millions in ‘Zuckbucks’ to take control of local polling offices. Everyone concedes that this made a difference in the election, including people on the left. They admitted it in a Time Magazine article about how they ‘fortified’ the 2020 election.
Even though many states have taken steps to address this issue in order to keep these folks away from the 2024 election, they are now trying to do it again by going at it on the federal level by working with FEMA.
These people have access to tons of data and demographics. If they are allowed to do so,
