Democratic Congressman Tells GOP to Pass
a Bill Removing the Statue of Liberty

Original Article

I predict that freshman Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) will have a long, illustrious career in politics. He certainly has a flair for the dramatic and is very big on "gestures." This is a prerequisite to be a Democrat in Washington. After all, how else can you show that you really, really, really care about an issue without making some absolutely ludicrously, useless melodramatic gesture? Mr. Fox shows promise in this regard. He's demanding that Republicans introduce a bill to take down the Statue of Liberty. Say what? Apparently, the GOP-passed H.R. 2 that would severely limit asylum claims and restart construction on the border wall is "anti-immigrant"...or something.

Comments:

Here is a question for Captain Hyperbole: Where on the Statue of Liberty does it say, "Bring me hostile free-loading criminals waving their own flags??!!"

I have a suggestion, dismantle Lady Liberty, ship her to Eagle Pass, Texas and reassemble her. Don't forget to translate the welcome message to Espanol and the other fifty languages that the illegal immigrants use.

I googled him, and suspcion confirmed. You'll see. He's also 27 years old, apparently thinks generation Z is something to be proud of. To me, 27 means highly likely there is mush for brains. He claims to be an activist..... uh oh, run the other way. Son of immigrants apparently and an America-hater. Community-college type education.

Ignorant fools. The Statue of Liberty has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with immigration. The immigrant connection was added much later during a PR campaign to fund building the base. It celebrates liberty and freedom - and has no legitimate connection to immigration.

actually, shiff-for brains, mr. frost, the statue was given to the US of A by the French people to commemorate the US of A becoming a free country from Britian. The statue was given on the 100th anniversary of the US obtaining freedom. The statue has nothing to do with illegals so called "right" to invade our borders.

Henry Agard Wallace, the 33rd vice president of the United States, was a peculiar fellow. He didn’t drink, smoke or swear. He didn’t like telling jokes, reading fiction or playing golf. In fact, he hated any pursuit in which he could discern no scope for self-improvement. While highly intelligent, Wallace struggled in social situations, as author Benn Steil explains in “The World That Wasn’t: Henry Wallace and the Fate of The American Century” (Avid Reader Press). Steil believes Wallace actually had Asperger’s syndrome, a form of autism spectrum disorder first highlighted by Austrian physician Hans Asperger in 1944 — Wallace’s final year as vice president.

An American Airlines flight attendant was arrested Thursday after he allegedly recorded multiple young girls with a hidden camera as they used bathrooms aboard flights he was working. Estes Carter Thompson III, 36, was caught redhanded in September by a 14-year-old girl he attempted to secretly film in a plane restroom — which set off a federal probe that revealed videos of four prior victims. Thompson allegedly possessed recordings of four minor female passengers — as young as 7 — using the bathroom aboard aircraft he had worked on previously, the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts announced on Thursday.

American travelers are outraged by signs appearing at US airports appearing to allow migrants onto flights without showing proper identification. US citizens traveling domestically have to show a valid identification card or a passport to board a plane, but signs at certain airports say there are different rules for some newly arrived migrants. The signs claim the Transport Security Administration is working with Customs and Border Protection to “validate adult non-US citizen travel documentation when the traveler does not otherwise have an acceptable form of identification.”

They're not sending their best. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested an illegal alien accused of committing child sex crimes in northern Virginia. This latest arrest adds to the growing number of recent ICE apprehensions in the residential DMV area. Deportation officers with Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Washington, D.C.'s Mobile Criminal Apprehension Team apprehended a 27-year-old Guatemalan national charged with crimes related to soliciting a young child and indecent exposure. Federal authorities arrested the illegal on Jan. 3 at his residence in Falls Church, Virginia, after he was presumably let out on bail. "This undocumented Guatemalan national posed a significant threat to minors in our Virginia communities,"

It’s a brazen act that can only be explained due to changing attitudes about crime and public safety. A woman is caught intentionally running over a NYPD officer. On January 17, Sahara Dula is seen plowing over a cop reportedly trying to stop her from driving in the wrong direction. Based on court documents, Dula admitted to hitting the officer, channeling the usual ‘f**k the police’ vibe. She hoped her assault would make the officer, who is black, rethink his employment with the NYPD. She also said she smoked marijuana before getting behind the wheel (via NBC New York): [Tweet, video] The incident occurred near East 71st Street on Park Avenue

He also declared at the community center event he was speaking at that he'd created "440 new jobs in North Carolina alone just since I came into office!"

The nation’s ruling class holds deeply authoritarian opinions widely divorced from the rest of the American electorate, finds a survey out this week. It found nearly 60 percent of American “elites” think there is too much individual freedom in America. Meanwhile, nearly 60 percent of registered voters have the exact opposite opinion, reporting the United States has too much top-down control, limiting liberty. The study from the Committee to Unleash Prosperity found ruling class opinions on climate policies were particularly harsh and despotic. More than two-thirds of the 1 percent support rationing vital energy and food sources in an attempt to control the globe’s weather.
