Former Maryland GOP Governor Larry Hogan endorsed former South Carolina Governor and United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley for president on the eve of the Iowa caucuses, calling her the “best possible candidate” for the Republican Party in November. Hogan told CNN on Sunday that he thinks “it’s pretty clear” that former President Donald Trump will win Iowa — as polling leading up to the first-in-the-nation caucuses has indicated — but he noted that for the past 24 years the GOP winner of the Hawkeye State has not become the nominee.

Hogan is a Never-Trumper, another guy like Chris Christie who tosses away any further political chances he may have had in politics, believe me that's a good thing. No one cares who hogan endorses. If this were the national ballot he would probably endorse the Mooch instead of Trump.

As I wrote about a couple of weeks ago, Michiganian Congressman John James is seeking the Republican nomination to run for governor in November of 2026. He announced this decision a couple of weeks back and has been lining up endorsements and touring the state.James sat down with the Detroit News to answer some questions about what he would like to do as governor, and also what Donald Trump will announce this Tuesday when he is in Michigan. Of course, the question that was asked was something I mentioned could happen in an article a couple of weeks ago, when James first announced he was running.

The Bank has been advising developing countries to get a deal done quickly with the United States, and to then focus attention on cutting trade barriers and boosting regional flows of goods, Banga said.

President Donald Trump on Thursday publicly acknowledged for the first time his deteriorating relationship with Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur who once held a high-level advisory role in his Administration, saying he was “very disappointed” in Musk’s recent turn against the President’s flagship tax-and-spending bill. “Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will anymore,” Trump told reporters during an Oval Office meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. “I’m very disappointed in Elon. A third Biden autopen was discovered on Thursday amid a federal investigation into “who ran the United States while Biden was in office.” House Oversight Chairman James Comer is also spearheading a congressional investigation into Biden’s health coverup. On Wednesday President Trump directed his White House Counsel, David Warrington, in consultation with Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate “whether certain individuals conspired to deceive the public about Biden’s mental state and unconstitutionally exercise the authorities and responsibilities of the President.”

Facing a federal investigation into his use of an autopen to sign executive actions, former President Joe Biden insists he was in control of the White House for the past four years. “I made the decisions about the pardons, executive orders, legislation, and proclamations. Any suggestion that I didn’t is ridiculous and false,” Biden said in a statement on Wednesday. President Donald Trump declared his predecessor’s last-minute pardons void early this year after the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project discovered the pardons were signed by a mechanical autopen rather than by the president’s own hand.

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk on Thursday ordered his aerospace company to immediately decommission its Dragon capsule, which NASA uses to service the International Space Station, amid a public feud with President Donald Trump. The cancellation is retaliation for Trump's proposal to end government contracts and subsidies it has with Musk's companies in order to balance the federal budget. The feud between the former allies escalated in the past 48 hours after Musk publicly slammed the president's "big, beautiful bill" as a "disgusting abomination" for its failure to address deficit spending. Musk first started the fight last week when leaving public service.
