Republicans Open Big Lead On Generic Ballot

Pollsters love to ask the generic ballot question: without naming names, “If the elections for Congress were held today, would you vote for the Democratic candidate or for the Republican candidate?” It is a basic measure of party strength as the next election approaches. The generic ballot question is also weirdly volatile. Preferences shift more often than one would expect. In any event, Rasmussen has good news for Republicans: Ten months ahead of the 2024 election, Republicans have a nine-point lead as they seek to maintain their narrow House majority. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that if the elections for Congress were held today, 49%

Biden War Room: Stopping the Slide Barack Obama: Okay, there’s time to turn this around, Joe. The Dem brand is eroding but we still have the Squad and most of the Muslims, the generation ship welfarers, dead urban Democrats, feminists, the Greens, the LGBTQIA crowd, academe and their spawn, our media familiars, the Mediscared, Jews who’ll stay with us no matter what, pro choicers, enfranchised illegals, Antifa, and drug cartel members with dual citizenship. David Axelrod: Not enough, sir. We need another bloc to put us over the top. President Biden: Hey, you forgot “sucker moms,” Barack! Obama: We’ve lost that demographic, Joe. Biden: Not ‘’Soccer Moms”: ‘’Sucker Moms.’’ Single women who thought the boyfriend would stay around soon’s he found out there was a bâtard in the oven. Millions of 'em in swing states. Obama: And you’re proposing? Biden: I declare marital law—or is it ‘’common-law’’? Whatever. The Joint Chiefs issue a directive defining ‘’deserter’’ as any civilian male AWOL from his family unit. MPs are dispatched to find them and return rhem, wearing ankle bracelets, to their women Obama: That’s good, Joe. Biden: Also, I'll direct Homeland Security to transfer to Washington personnel who are busy ignoring human trafficking on the border. They’d team with FBI agents to track down deadbeat dads and make them pay. Obama: You're cookin, my man. Biden: To top it off, I'll find language in ObamaCare guaranteeing 24/7 Supernanny coverage, contingent on my reelection. Jill Biden: I’d add no-cost tubal ligation. Insurance companies would be free to reject offering these benefits at their peril. Obama: Womens’ vote—check. Biden: Less than a year before the vote. Can we keep a lid until then on the Iranians' sinking the USS Eisenhower in the Strait of Hormel yesterday? KJP: You mean the Strait of Hormuz, Mr. President. Hormel is an American company that makes Spam. Biden: What are they doing in the Strait? Jill: Time for your nap, Joe.

FTA: "We will see how that leads holds up in future polling, and, of course–the only thing that counts–in actual 2024 voting." And, of course-the only thing that counts-who does the counting. The great elephant in the room is not the GOP mascot. It will be the internal war for the soul of the Republican Party as MAGA patriots fight the Uniparty traitors. We're going to need a party that will actually defend the integrity of the election, not just get voters to the polls. The great Uniparty bird is sick and dieing as the great Sagman has deftly illustrated. It should be easy pickings. Their "narrative" is falling apart as regularly as Bribem falls boarding Air Force One. MAGA RETRIBUTION - TRUMP 2024

I'll also go back to the format I used here fifteen years ago. Easier to read. And Timber Queen has nailed the essential issue: this election is really about wresting control of the GOP from the squishes. Oh, I missed it at the end of the War Room: should be "Women's vote."

Joe Biden seems to have great confusion about the Houthis. Earlier on Friday, as he was wandering around some Allentown, Pennsylvania, stores looking frighteningly confused, he was asked about Iran and the Houthis. He was asked whether we were in a proxy war with Iran. He said no, but it's beginning to look like it. We certainly have been in a bit of a cold war with them for a while. But he claimed that Iran didn't want war with us. Then he said he believed the Houthis were terrorists. That seemingly went against his policy of delisting them when he came into

Americans are divided on how the U.S. Supreme Court should handle former President Donald Trump’s ballot access, but a majority in a new ABC News/Ipsos poll say they would support the court either barring Trump from presidential ballots nationally or letting states take that step individually. The national poll finds a close division on state-level rulings barring Trump from the ballot in Colorado and Maine, 49-46%, support-oppose. On next steps, 56% are willing to see him disqualified in all or some states, including 30% who say the high court should bar him in all states and 26% who say it should let each state decide.

WASHINGTON — The U.S. military early Saturday struck another Houthi-controlled site in Yemen that it had determined was putting commercial vessels in the Red Sea at risk, two U.S. officials said, a day after the U.S. and Britain launched multiple airstrikes targeting Houthi rebels. Associated Press journalists in Sanaa, Yemen’s capital, heard one loud explosion. The first day of strikes Friday hit 28 locations and struck more than 60 targets. However, the U.S. determined the additional location, a radar site, still presented a threat to maritime traffic, one official said. The officials spoke anonymously to the AP to discuss an operation that hadn’t yet been publicly announced.

The CIA has been providing Israel information on senior Hamas leaders and the location of the remaining hostages the terrorist organization has kidnapped in Gaza, according to a Friday report by The New York Times citing US officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity. The US hasn't provided Israel with intel on "low or midlevel Hamas operatives," the report said. Additionally, the report cites some of the US officials' belief that targeting low-level Hamas members is "misguided" because "they can be easily replaced and because of the unwarranted risk to civilians." They have also said

While many American cities continue to struggle with proliferation of homeless camps in their parks and on their sidewalks, the U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case that could determine if enforcing bans on those camps is a violation of the Constitution. The Supreme Court on Friday agreed to review an appellate court ruling in Johnson v. Grants pass, one of two Ninth Circuit rulings that limited the ability of municipalities to enforce camping bans against involuntarily homeless people with nowhere else to go and when there is not enough shelter space for all of them. Critics say the rulings have supercharged the proliferation of homeless camps
