Wikipedia Editors Downplay Controversies
Surrounding Harvard President Claudine Gay

Original Article

Posted By: Imright, 12/16/2023 12:33:25 AM

Wikipedia editors have been actively trying to minimize mention of plagiarism allegations raised against embattled Harvard President Claudine Gay. This has included removing mention of the allegations from the intro of her article and removing detailed descriptions of the alleged plagiarism. Some editors have also tried to minimize mention of Gay’s handling of campus antisemitism in the wake of the Hamas terror attacks against Israel. Wikipedia editors have also removed all mention of the campus antisemitism controversy from the online encyclopedia’s article on Harvard University itself.

It's all part of the Left's censorship. Since anyone can be okayed to edit at Wikipedia liberals/Democrats often slant things in their favor there. Liberals/Marxist are trying to monopolize all types of media sources and restrict information they don't like.

Wikipedia is EXTREMELY leftist, and you can depend on ALL biographical info for modern figures to be extremely biased, and much of that info about older leaders to be twisted if there is any leftist political 'axe to grind' with them.

You can always see their bias when the subject is a republican. When the weird 2020 election is part of the discussion they use the word 'debunked' often when referring to claims of a stolen election, or fraudulent ballots.

Never, ever trust what you read on Wikipedia. You might use it as a starting point to see what the Democrat/Marxists want you to believe about a particular topic. Maybe it's true (if they don't think it will impact their precious narrative) or, very possibly, it's a lie.

Elon Has Some Fun With Just How Messed

Democrats think their problem is a messaging problem, that people just aren't getting it. Now, the second part of that axiomatically implies that the American people are stupid, that they just don't understand how good the Democrats would be for them, so voters reject them. The first part is also ridiculous. Because it isn't just the messaging; it's the radical ideas and the policies that the Democrats embrace that the American people are rejecting. But I guess someone decided somewhere that they all needed to be on the same message. We reported on a communique that five Senators put out

Throughout the presidential campaign -- even dating back to before President Biden was forced out of the race, and the primary elections were nullified -- Democrats possessed exactly one talking point on the border crisis. In the face of ten million illegal border crossings over the span of four years, entirely due to policy choices by the ruling party, the incumbents endlessly blamed the failure of a Senate bill as the scapegoat for the unprecedented crisis of their creation. We addressed that legislation on the merits at the time.

The left — including the Democrat Party, of course — has seemingly forever lived and breathed via code words and buzz phrases. From "glass ceiling" to the "Me Too Movement" to "systemic racism" to referring to illegal aliens (which is a term used in existing U.S. immigration law) as "undocumented migrants," Democrats have relied on emotional responses of their base, rather than facts, history, logic, and common sense."For years," wrote author and political commentator Jonathan Turley in his column Tuesday, "the mantra on the left was “reimagining” everything from policing to free speech to defense. 'Reimagining' often was a synonym for defunding or limiting the subject matter."

There are many stories about January 6 that fall by the wayside. Several January 6 defendants got extensive media coverage, especially in the immediate aftermath of January 6, but this is not representative of the overall body. Most defendants remain nameless, faceless hostages. Real Americans have been rendered as caricatures as a way of pigeonholing them and glossing over the real experiences of that complicated day. OATH KEEPERS AND JANUARY 6... Kelly Meggs was a humble Florida resident and general manager in the car business before January 6, not a soldier or commando.

The European Union (EU) has been talking very tough about its unwavering and unlimited support for Ukraine since Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s disastrous visit to the White House, but data published by an independent research organization shows the EU spent more on Russian oil and gas in 2024 than it spent on Ukraine. The Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA), a group opposed to burning fossil fuels, calculated that European nations spent $23 billion buying Russian fuel in 2024, compared to $19.6 billion in foreign aid provided to Ukraine.

President Trump threatened Tuesday to halt all federal funds for any educational institute that allows “illegal protests” — and vowed that agitators will be unmasked and imprisoned. The commander-in-chief issued the warning as disruptive anti-Israel and pro-Hamas demonstrations have rocked college campuses across the country. “All Federal Funding will STOP for any College, School, or University that allows illegal protests,” Trump, 78, wrote in an early Truth Social post.

Rep. Nydia Velázquez (D-NY) was heavily criticized after her comments during a speech outside the Housing and Urban Development Department on Monday, indicating Elon Musk should "go back to South Africa." The remarks were ill-advised on two fronts: 1) She was trying to counter a debunked claim that Musk himself had said Italians should stay in Italy and Japanese people should stay in Japan, and 2) Telling successful immigrants to go back home sure seems xenophobic. "It was interesting yesterday I was watching a video of an interview of Elon Musk with someone where he said that the Italians should stay in Italy and the Chinese should stay in China,

During an appearance Sunday on Lincoln Project co-founder Steve Schmidt's "The Warning" podcast, Todd delved into why the Democrats lost the 2024 election and what he perceives as the media's relationship with the second Trump administration. After decrying older politicians remaining in the leadership of the Democratic Party, Todd returned to Biden's role in the November election loss.

On Monday’s “Alex Marlow Show,” EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said that he doesn’t think California fire relief money will be a blank check and the Trump administration has already started to think of ideas for what the state should do differently. Zeldin stated, “I think that there [are] going to be conversations in the weeks and months ahead, as Congress is starting to debate whether or not there’s going to be some supplemental that’s sent to California of federal funding that helps with their recovery. There [are] going to be specific issues discussed of what is California going to be doing differently to prevent this from happening again.

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) isn't necessarily known for his intellect or his manners. Not only was he hornswoggled by a putative Chinese spy (Fang Fang) a decade ago (and subsequently denied a spot on the House Intelligence Committee), but there was the unfortunate incident involving an apparent flatulence mishap while giving an on-camera interview. Then, just a week ago, Swalwell reportedly was overheard blabbing loudly at a D.C. steakhouse over dinner with lobbyists about cheating on his wife, Capitol Hill orgies, and wanting to subpoena Ivanka Trump to testify (while he still held his spot on the Intel Committee) because she was "[censored] hot."

Trump and DOGE has save the American taxpayer billions of dollars lost by previous administrations. Trump continues to eliminate waste and fraud in government. And, this week, President Trump cut funding to the unending War in Ukraine. Meanwhile, Democrats continue to flounder with policies that are insane and unpopular. While I don't expect many people reading this article to be purveyors of the legacy media, most are probably on social media. That means they see the clips of Democrats appearing on the broadcast networks, MSNBC, and the like, and if they are perceptive, they've probably noticed something. Namely, that certain former "fresh faces" of the Democratic Party aren't so fresh anymore. For context, it's been weeks since there's been an article on RedState covering something Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said. That would have been unheard of a few years ago, but guess who has had five articles written about her since then? That would be Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX).
