Is the right about to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory regarding Bud Light? That's the story after several prominent right-wing figures publicly came out in support of the embattled beer brand recently.
For those unacquainted with the controversy, Bud Light got itself into hot water by joining forces with transgender activist (and all-around mentally deranged person) Dylan Mulvaney. That resulted in a commemorative can being sent to Mulvaney, who then used it to do product placement in a couple of videos posted on social media.
The backlash was swift, and for the first time in history, conservatives were to put some teeth behind the phrase "go woke, go broke."

It was NOT just a few cans.
It was cash and cans, too.
Add to that, for all Bud Light's new "macho" ads, the company has never apologized.
Want to save Bud Light?
Start with some humble pie eating.
Belated, but it might help.

A $109 million bribe can turn some heads. Lots of folks are DONE, permanently with Budweiser.

"Suffered enough" is the same argument the Gazans are using against the Israelis. They don't get to say.

Haven't drank crappy AB products since my first tour in Holland in the mid-1970's. Unless I was dead, and somebody poured Bud down my throat, I'm not drinking that swill.

Realized a loong time ago that most of the so called "right" is either controlled opposition(a lot of the posters here,tv/radio hosts etc) or just plain liars.
We swim in a sea of lies...

FTA: "Besides, did I miss the apology from Bud Light? Did I miss the brand admitting it should not have pushed transgender ideology? Because I don't believe that ever happened. So why in the world would anyone on the right (or connected to the right) think it's a good idea to give in at this point?"
Unless they were BOUGHT OFF, no one who actually likes this country would defend Annheuser-Busch.

While this move has not made me think any better of Budweiser it has made me think a lot less of some hypocritical, sellout celebrities.

I look at it in a different way. They've experienced the negative impact of their ad. If you like BudLight buy it, if you don't, don't buy it. I am not opposed to seeing the brand come back.
BudLight does need to apologize for their BAD decision, they seem to be changing their ad campaigns as a way to go forward, but an apology would be the answer. They are afraid to apologize.
IF other brands decide to promote the land of wacko, they see what can happen to them.

#14 that proves someone is lying...Ask anyone who served in the Corps and they'll tell you; There is no such thing as a former Marine!

That these nit wits are "prominent" is debatable. A sellout is just a sellout. If they would sell out to Dylan Mulvaney, they would sell out the whole country. But no matter, they can't re float this sunken ship, no matter how many millions Inbev gives them. Enjoy your silver pieces.

So Budweiser is paying for some non-left people (ergo Right Wing) to get them out of hot water. That's a stunner.

I have never understood why people are influenced by celebrity endorsements and opinions. And so many who are claim to be independent thinkers such as a cousin who would set her hair on fire if cher or hillary said it was du jour.

I was at a party at a roadhouse last weekend. They kept their beer in glass front coolers behind the bar. Budweiser products were taking up a ton of room but not moving at all. Yuengling was doing pretty well.

I’m through with AB. They opened the secret door into their real mindset and the world didn’t like what it saw. The Bud Lite issue was a test to see if they could completely unmask. People told them to stay in the closet. They haven’t changed, just trying to close that door.

"Prominent"? I've seen and heard only one of the three names in the article but would not recognize its owner if he knocked at my front door. Apparently, I'm not the market for the three "prominences."

I had no idea Peyton Manning, Emmitt Smith and Kid Rock were all gay.
And I'm not sure how this makes sense: To shed their gay beer image Bud Light partnered with a sport where sweaty men in underwear hug for 25 minutes.
Their customers aren't gong to buy that beer. It's done.

Not quite right, #16. There’s no such thing as an ex-Marine. Those who served and are no longer in the Corps are referred to and call themselves “former Marines”. I know. I’ve been married to one for 43 years.

Those three that think their celebrity means something are suffering from delusions of grandeur. They can drink all the Bud Light they want. The majority of America is done with AB, myself included.

Well, if I were still a drinker, and had the choice of a 4 dollar case of bud light against whatever a case of some other brand costs, probably over 20 bucks, I'd buy the bud light. Just from a money thing.
Price goes back up, I'd never touch it again.
