The White House said Tuesday that it opposes Israel’s plan to attack Hamas terrorists in the southern portion of the Gaza Strip unless it can provide an “accounting” for all of the internally displaced Palestinian civilians in the war.
White House National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby spoke to reporters on Air Force One, and said: “We don’t support southern operations, unless or until the Israelis can show that they’ve accounted for all the internally displaced people of Gaza.”
Asked whether that meant the White House was abandoning support for Israel’s goal of eliminating Hamas,

A Big Mac burger, a medium beverage, and a medium fry meal now costs 18 dollars in some locations, up $10 from 2018 when former President Donald Trump was president.
The skyrocketing costs could impact the 2024 election, as the soaring inflation under President Joe Biden reflects poorly on his economic plan of so-called “Bidenomics.”
The Big Mac Value Meal’s price increase is just one example of continued inflation, the New York Post’s editorial board reported:
Those [“President Biden’s terrible economic policies”] have driven prices overall about 15% higher since Biden came in; on essentials like food and energy, they’re up closer to 25%.

A New York Republican jump-started the process to expel his embattled colleague, Rep. George Santos (R-NY), from the House, teeing up a likely vote on Thursday.
Rep. Anthony D'Esposito (R-NY) noticed a motion to expel Santos as privileged on Tuesday night, which means the House will now have two legislative days to take a vote. The resolution was originally filed by House Ethics Committee Chairman Michael Guest (R-MS) nearly two weeks ago, but D'Esposito's move to expedite the process comes hours after two House Democrats filed their own privileged resolution to oust Santos.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a Supreme Court Justice and a darling of the left. She was endearingly referred to as “Notorious RBG” for her strident opinions invariably siding with the Democrats on political issues.
But she grew old. She also grew feeble physically and, sadly, to some extent mentally as well. She started breaking Court tradition by giving television interviews, where she unfortunately spoke intemperately about political issues.
Shortly before the 2016 election, she told a reporter that Donald Trump was “a faker.”
And then she said something to the reporter that apparently came into her head at that moment because she really had an ego.

Pope Francis is reportedly moving to evict one of his most prominent conservative critics from his Vatican-subsidized apartment and to strip him of his salary.
An anonymous Vatican official told the Italian newspaper La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana that Francis has reached his limit with Cardinal Raymond Burke, who has long been a conservative opponent of the Pope's reforming efforts.
Said official reportedly attended a Vatican meeting in which the Pope himself made the announcement and accused Burke of "working against the Church and against the papacy," Reuters reported. Burke primarily resides in Wisconsin.

Journalism is dead; the media is absolutely horrible and it can’t die fast enough. Thankfully, it is dying. Each year there are fewer newspapers and news websites out there, as the market speaks and people flee these left-wing propaganda machines and wither on the vine. Don’t get me wrong, if these outlets did what they’re supposed to do – actually report the news honestly and without bias – I wouldn’t celebrate their demise. But they don’t, so to hell with them.
I find it difficult to not respond to various reporters announcing layoffs in their newsrooms with a resounding “learn to code” swipe, but I mostly succeed.

The news comes on the heels of several dozen hostages being released as part of a rolling ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. The halt in hostilities is expected to last as long as the terrorist government continues to release those they took captive on October 7th as planned. Israel has vowed to resume military action to destroy Hamas once the ceasefire ends. As to the condition of the hostages that have been returned, initial reports show signs of starvation and malnutrition.

The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas is refusing to release an infant Israeli hostage, Kfir Bibas, who was nine months old at the time of his abduction, among the 50-70 hostages it is letting go as part of a four-to-six-day “pause” in the fighting. The Times of Israel reported:
The IDF’s Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee indicates to Sky News that the Bibas family — father Yarden, mother Shiri, 10-month-old baby Kfir and 4-year-old Ariel — will not be released today from Hamas captivity.
Adraee explains that the family was taken hostage by Hamas during the October 7 massacre, and was then transferred

The Walt Disney Co. seems to have admitted "its controversial political and social agenda" has hurt the company and shareholders, according to Jonathan Turley. Turley, a George Washington University law professor and Fox News contributor, used the 300th birthday of famed economist Adam Smith, whose "invisible hand" metaphor explained how people could exercise their choice between particular products, to put a spotlight on Disney's struggles.
"Disney appears to acknowledge that Smith’s invisible hand is giving the ‘House of Mouse’ the middle finger. In a new corporate disclosure, Disney acknowledges that its controversial political and social agenda is costing the company and shareholders," Turley wrote in a piece for The Hill.
