Former President Trump is leading President Biden and Democrat-turned-independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in a three-way race, a new poll found.
The Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey, shared with The Hill, showed Trump receiving 39 percent, Biden receiving 33 percent and Kennedy receiving 19 percent in a three-way race. A separate 9 percent said they did not know or were unsure.
When those who were unsure were asked who they would vote for if they had to choose, Trump received 42 percent support, Biden received 36 percent and Kennedy received 22 percent.

When news broke yesterday that Israel had bombed Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza, killing patients, children, and staff, every “anti-Zionist,” “critic of Israel,” and most big American journalism outfits ran with the horrible story. The tale incited worldwide condemnation and recrimination. But it wasn’t true. Israel did not hit the hospital. The Islamic Jihad did. Hundreds of people did not die. The missile landed in a parking lot. It was Hamas disinformation.
The media’s disastrous failure on the Gaza hospital bombing story is one of the most vivid and instructive examples of the structural and inherent problems plaguing contemporary journalism. It mirrors many other fiascos of the past decade.

A New York Times report published Saturday detailed how Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R-FL) presidential campaign lost the online war to former President Donald Trump, which has coincided with his drop in the polls.
DeSantis’s camp attempted to organize an online eco-system of prominent conservative influencers to lead the charge against prominent pro-Trump influencers and the 45th president’s campaign on social media in May at a secret meeting at the home of a DeSantis pollster, the New York Times first reported Saturday.
The event backfired and “had the opposite effect” on some of the twelve or so prominent influencers there who admired DeSantis, three people who were at the meeting told the Times,

Republicans reveal a $200,000 personal check from James Biden to Joe Biden that they say is the strongest evidence yet that the president was directly involved in his family's business dealings.
According to bankruptcy court documents obtained by the House Oversight Committee, James Biden took money from his health care business Americore and sent it directly to his brother Joe Biden.
The documents show that in 2018, James Biden obtained $600,000 in loans from Americore. James was able to receive the loans based upon 'representations' that his last name, 'Biden,' could 'open doors.'

Trump’s conversations come as Emmer has begun privately expressing his interest in the post. The Minnesota Republican, who has been making calls to fellow lawmakers, has emerged as an early frontrunner, having received the endorsement of former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. But a sustained offensive from Trump, if one materializes, could spell doom, as any candidate for the job can only afford to lose a handful of votes.

Before epilepsy was understood to be a neurological condition, people believed it was caused by the moon, or by phlegm in the brain. They condemned seizures as evidence of witchcraft or demonic possession, and killed or castrated sufferers to prevent them from passing tainted blood to a new generation. Today we know epilepsy is a disease. By and large, it’s accepted that a person who causes a fatal traffic accident while in the grip of a seizure should not be charged with murder. That’s good, says Stanford University neurobiologist Robert Sapolsky. That’s progress. But there’s still a long way to go.

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) declared that Biden’s $100B aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and domestic security is dead on arrival in the Senate.
Cotton calls it a slush fund and he’s not wrong. The largest disbursement would go to Ukraine. The aid package includes $60B for Ukraine, $14B for Israel, and $14B for the southern border. There is $7.4B for Taiwan and allies in the Indo-Pacific, and $10B for humanitarian aid in Ukraine, Israel, and Gaza. As you see, the amount allocated to Ukraine is disproportionally larger than anything else.
The senator called out the $11.8B for Ukraine, for example, that is included for Ukraine’s “non-war spending”

Much is often said about Israel and the United States being natural allies, but that is usually not accompanied by much detail. There are many cultural ties, including religion, of course, and intriguing economic similarities, especially in their respective social instincts for entrepreneurialism, technology, and capital markets. Israel and the United States are also “New World” countries, formed in large part on the basis of religious and political freedom.
At a current national security level, the two countries share a similar strategic threat from enemies at their borders and, in some respects, enemies internally

From a sit-down TV interview, to an Oval Office address and even a trip to a war-torn country, Democratic strategists are praising President Joe Biden’s response to the Israel-Hamas war as “cognizant” and “strong.”
Biden’s initial response to the terrorist organization Hamas’ attack on Israel came under scrutiny from prominent conservative media figures who criticized the president for failing to make frequent public statements while the war raged in the Middle East. But Democratic strategists told the Daily Caller the president has handled the Israel-Hamas war well, giving numerous public appearances and even presenting himself as a strong commander-in-chief.

If our government does not respect the Constitution, we have no constitution. If the government refuses to stand behind the principles of free speech, the right to free assembly, the right to petition the government, the right to a speedy trial, etc., those rights don’t exist. Instead, we simply have rule down the barrel of a gun…a gun held only in government hands. I thought of that when I read about Doug Mackey, sent to federal prison for seven months because he insulted Hillary voters, and Ryan Kelley, given an extra-long prison sentence on a misdemeanor because he didn’t grovel sufficiently before his J6 hanging judge.

The House speakership has not been a happy thing for Republicans lately. While Nancy Pelosi was a raging leftist who successfully corralled her party and rammed through the leftist agenda (love her or hate her, she was effective), the same cannot be said for recent Republican speakers. John Boehner and Paul Ryan were RINOs. Kevin McCarthy was much more conservative, and for that he deserves credit, but he reneged on promises, especially about January 6. Since his ouster, though, it’s been one humiliation Now, however, with Byron Donalds having thrown his hat in the ring, there’s hope.

On October 7, the day Hamas attacked Israel, Inbal Rabin-Lieberman, a 25-year-old security coordinator at the Kibbutz Nir Am settlement located near the Gaza Strip, saved lives because she had a gun. After the kibbutz came under attack, Inbal hurriedly opened the armory and distributed guns to the twelve-member security team.
She caught the Hamas murderers unawares because they were not expecting to meet armed resistance. Lieberman killed five terrorists while the others gunned down twenty-five before the Israeli Defense Force arrived. Because of her actions, Nir-Am was the only settlement bordering the Gaza Strip that did not suffer Israeli casualties during Hama’s attack.

With the Middle East blowing up, with Americans being killed and held hostage, and U.S. forces under attack, you would think maybe that would be taking up all of Joe Biden's time on Friday.
Instead, Biden had a summit meeting with EU leaders where he had trouble with his notes and told a wild story about his Uncle Frank, then attended a campaign fundraiser before he headed off to the beach for yet another weekend vacation.
But he wasn't quite done with the bad remarks for the day before he hit the beach. Reporters in attendance at the fundraiser reported on those remarks. Biden said that "the Saudis
