Biden’s Latest Economic Alibi

Original Article

It’s hardly news that Americans are deeply dissatisfied with President Biden’s stewardship of the economy. The polls consistently show his approval rating well below 40 percent on this critical issue. Yet the President insists that this isn’t an accurate reflection of his economic record. As recently as last Friday, when asked by a reporter why so many Americans don’t feel good about the economy, he responded with this howler: “You get more legs when you’re reporting something that’s negative. I don’t mean you’re picking on me. It’s just the nature of things.” Biden actually claimed that adverse media coverage is to blame for the public’s low opinion of “Bidenomics.”

I appreciate Biden putting his name on the lousy economy. Bidenomics. Similar to Obamacare. It will be easy to remember.

It isn't just Biden's economic policies, it is the Democrats in general and rinos that help the Democrats.

Power hungry greedy socialist Democrats and their selfish cowardly RINO enablers looking for crumbs are responsible for the plight we find ourselves in. There is no adult in this country who does not know or realize this. But you cannot wake up someone pretending to sleep.

Joe is correct, 40% approval is not an accurate reflection of his economic record. In my area it's in the single digits, which probably reflects the percentage of the shoe-size IQ population that avoids work, depends upon drugs and alcohol to get through a day and buys groceries with one of those government issue Gimmedat Cards. This country is in for a huge wakeup call.

There is no alibi. This is the worst economy ever. The stewardship is so bad, the uncertainty so great, that no one can make a rational decision about future plans. It is a disaster that will take a decade, if not the 30 years the Japanese have spent trying to clean up their mess.

Destroy the economy is a first step to destroying a country. That is their goal. So....things are going according to plan. This is the reason joe can "speak" about how well things are going; he's achieving the goal.

Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson said Wednesday that former President Trump is afraid of being poisoned. “He does have a very potent fear of being poisoned,” Hutchinson told comedian Jimmy Kimmel on his late night show. “So he uses and prefers the small Heinz glass ketchup bottles, because he likes to hear his valet or whoever’s serving him his meal, he likes to hear the ‘pop.’”Her comments came after Kimmel referenced her testimony in front of the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, riot on the Capitol, in which she said she found ketchup dripping from the wall of the West Wing dining room after Trump threw his

Below is my column in The Messenger on Hunter Biden’s curious new defense in the federal gun case: he had a moment of sobriety just before he signed his gun form. It appears that the defense is lifting Hunter’s blackout dates on his long addiction defense. Here is the column: Hunter Biden returned to court today on the felony indictment for his possession of a handgun, including allegations that he lied on an Oct.12, 2018, form by denying that he was a drug user. His counsel is expected to continue to insist that the form was accurate because Hunter had ended his addiction to drugs and alcohol.

The Biden administration’s now-suspended Iran envoy Robert Malley helped to fund, support, and direct an Iranian intelligence operation designed to influence the United States and allied governments, according to a trove of purloined Iranian government emails. The emails, which were reported on by veteran Wall Street Journal correspondent Jay Solomon, writing in Semafor, and by Iran International, the London-based émigré opposition outlet which is the most widely read independent news source inside Iran, were published last week

Congress averted a government shutdown this weekend, agreeing to 45 days of funding to give members time to pass appropriations bills for the full year. Incredibly, Democrats seemed prepared to shut down the government over their desire for increases in Ukraine war funding. Republicans, by contrast, bucked Senate leader Mitch McConnell to keep the government open without such funding. While shutdown battles have become common, this one had absurd moments. Democrats tried to delay votes with everything from “magic minutes,” which allow party leaders to speak at length, to Democrat Rep. Jamaal Bowman pulling a fire alarm in the middle of a vote, forcing the evacuation of a House office building.

President Biden has received a lot of bad news recently, including major polls showing that two-thirds of Democrats don’t want him to run for a second term and former President Trump is leading him in hypothetical 2024 match-ups. Even worse, despite shrill denials from the White House and the negligence of the news media, recent polls show that a majority of voters believe Biden was involved in his family’s corrupt influence peddling. With all of this to contend with, the last thing our embattled President needs is a serious third-party challenge from a high-profile public figure who could well garner enough general election votes to deprive him of another term.

Free Apple watches, bus and plane tickets all across the continental United States, and sophisticated lawyers standing by to counsel migrants on how to best navigate border officials’ scrutiny of asylum on the occasions when they are actually required to defend their asylum claims. These benefits being offered to illegal border crossers have left the public shocked, angry, and in many cases, feeling the issue closer to home than ever before. Many cities and states have also been overwhelmed as the consequences of the crisis have migrated well beyond the southern border states. Recently, New York City Mayor Eric Adams made news when he emphatically declared that the now-regular

While President Joe Biden described Feinstein as a “kind and loyal friend,” Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, characterized the California Democrat as a “true public servant” with whom he had a “wonderful working relationship” and “will miss.” Other Democrat and Republican senators such as Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Susan Collins, R–Maine, and Marco Rubio, R-Fla., also offered their condolences and fond memories of Feinstein.

Laptop deniers are having a tough time trying to explain away the damning evidence pouring out of congressional committees investigating Biden corruption and the DOJ’s coverup. New documents from IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley released by the House Ways and Means Committee Wednesday spell more trouble for the Bidens, and maybe for Hunter Biden’s “sugar brother” Kevin Morris, who paid the First Son’s $2.8 million tax bill and funded his lifestyle in Malibu. Here are the top five revelations contained in the committee’s 1,600-word report and 31 new exhibits tabled by IRS criminal investigators Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, who allege DOJ obstruction of their five-year investigation of Hunter in Delaware:

The Biden administration recently issued yet another outlandish immigration action, but most Americans likely did not realize it. I’m talking about the Department of Homeland Security’s decision to extend and "redesignate" Temporary Protected Status for more than 700,000 illegal aliens from Venezuela that the Biden administration has already allowed into the U.S. For many Americans, this may sound like a niche policy decision that only immigration policy experts care to discuss. That’s what the Biden Administration is counting on. Don’t be fooled, this is the epitome of an America Last policy.

Fox News Channel announced Monday that Sean Hannity will moderate a “red state vs. blue state” debate between Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and California Governor Gavin Newsom. Hannity asked the two governors about debating each other and both agreed earlier this year. The debate will take place on November 30 in Georgia, with the venue to be announced. It will air in Hannity’s time slot that night. The debate will be 90 minutes. The two governors have a contentious relationship, to understate the relationship. Newsom began attacking DeSantis even before DeSantis entered the Republican presidential primary. So, Hannity challenged the two to a debate.

When I was growing up and attending Catholic schools, I was taught that the pope is infallible. But then I read Pope Francis’ updated encyclical letter last week, and now I can only conclude that at least this pope is fallible. In fact, the declaration is so filled with anti-Christian fallacies that one has to wonder whether we have a pope that is actually Catholic. (snip) the U.S. has more emissions and uses more energy than many other nations, but that is because we produce far more output per capita than all other nations except China. Democratic sympathies for Palestinians has increased over the last decade, and a Gallup poll published in March 2023 found their affinity toward the Palestinians finally eclipsed their support of Israel, 49% to 38%. The attitudes from March reflected a continued decline in Israeli support, from 40% to 38% and an 11-point surge of support for Palestinian people, from 38% to 49%. Babies beheaded, grandparents slain and families torn apart – the full horror of 'Israel's 9/11' was starting to emerge last night. Hamas gunmen massacred 40 children in one farm settlement alone, their small bodies lying in their rooms riddled with bullets. And as shellshocked survivors told their stories, one bereaved grandson, Shmuel Harel, told me: 'They are the new Nazis. This was a holocaust, pure and simple.' He said his terrified 90-year-old grandmother's last moments were being dragged into her living room and shot twice in the head. A sobbing Israeli woman said she had to listen in helpless horror as her 12-year-old autistic daughter was kidnapped

October 7 was a national nightmare for Israel. The day was marked by a catastrophic terrorist attack that left hundreds of Israelis dead—a shock to the national psyche. This day was Israel’s 9/11, Tet Offensive, and Pearl Harbor rolled up into one. Thanks to assistance and training from Iran, this attack by Hamas, which was several weeks in the making, began with a hellacious rocket barrage that provided cover for a sophisticated land, air, and sea assault along the Gaza border. Around 1,000 terrorists invaded Southern Israel, which led to hours of slaughter, rape, and kidnappings. Hamas took at least 100 Israelis hostage. The images and videos were ghastly.
