Pundits disappointed that COVID now indistinguishable

Getting a cold sucks. Sometimes you even think you are going to die. At least if you are a man. If you are a woman you soldier on as if nothing is wrong. At least that is what women tell me. Men are babies, women are tough as nails. Who am I to disagree (if I value my life)? As the CDC and the public health establishment keep pushing dire warnings out to the public and begging people to get vaccinated, the actual disease has done what almost all respiratory diseases do: become less dangerous. That’s not due to some version of compassion on the part of the virus.

Before covid policy criminalized ivermectin I bought plenty of it. I can buy it now more easily than when we all needed it so much. It sure worked on covid, so, if I get any virus, I'm going on ivermectin for the 5 day course.

This was predicted by me and many others back in 2020. This is a well traveled path. ALL viruses mutate to become LESS deadly and more easily transmitted. This has been going on for millenia, and is the natural order of things, has nothing whatsoever to do with the fraud and incompetence displayed by the big pharma companies and their employees....the CDC, FDA and NIH.

Had COVID, for the first time ever, about 3 weeks ago. Symptoms were those of a mild cold -- runny nose, occasional slight fever, sore throat in the morning (from postnasal drip during night). The only reason that I found out that I had COVID was through a routine home test, which my wife and I do routinely every week since we babysit our grandkids several days per week. So, my experience coincides with this article: nothing more than a common cold.

It never was distinguishable from colds, flu, allergies---and pneumonia, which were not in the lexicon for the last 3 years, despite being the word choices for centuries.

Re #3, glad you case was very mild. My wife and I had an earlier version in Feb of this year, and we were both sick for about a week or a bit more, just feeling crummy and miserable. Fully recovered, and never had their shots, so now fully protected. Of course, how long before the Chinese Communists manufacture another one of these to release on us? Perhaps not, since it looks like it caused easily as much or more damage to China as to the rest of the world.

It was not a vaccine. It did not prevent covid, it did not prevent transmission. It was a sham for the politicians and elites to collect kick back $ and to enjoy the fruits of total control. It was oh so good to be in control. Some bug somewhere will kill someone under the correct circumstances. We can't control that. People choke to death on hamburgers. So I assume we just need to outlaw hamburgers and all will be good. It doesn't work that way and we all know it. I know no one who has said they will get the next installment of the kick back shot. Leave us the hell alone. The elites must be a bit worried about their kick back $ not rolling in. Christmas is coming and the economy is lousy.

The Moderna jab killed my wife so she won’t be getting another one. She didn’t need it as we both had had the original Wuhan Flu. I decided no job was worth the risk so walked away from one where I’d already been hired. She only got the shot because Big Medicine lied about needing the shot even if you’ve already had the W. Flu. From studies I’ve seen, it was more dangerous to get The Jab than The Flu. Has to be even more so now than then.

Maybe they can return to the original version of what a vaccine truly represents instead of the altered version they used to fool everyone into thinking what they received in 2020-2023 have been a vaccine. The shot is much more similar to the yearly flu shot, and has been since the beginning, it seems. I don't worry about my Shingles vaccine degrading in 3-6 months and have fear of getting it still. I also don't worry about the MMR vaccine, and neither do the authorities: How many times should you be vaccinated for MMR? Adults born after 1956 without evidence of immunity should receive at least one dose of MMR vaccine. 2 doses are recommended for adults who plan to travel internationally and in many colleges. 2 doses are also advised if you work with babies, children, pregnant women, or people with weak immune systems. Is MMR a lifetime vaccine? No "booster" doses of MMR vaccine are recommended for either adults or children. They are considered to have life-long immunity once they have received the recommended number of MMR vaccine doses or have other evidence of immunity.Jun 19, 2023

We all are aware of how badly Joe Biden did in his disastrous debate in June 2024. His people tried to save him by arranging an interview shortly thereafter with ABC's George Stephanopoulos. But it didn't go well for Biden, as he continued to show he was completely out of it during the interview. Not only did it do nothing to calm the nerves of jittery Democrats, but Biden made bizarre comments about how he would win because he got bigger crowds than Donald Trump (he didn't), and that he was distracted by Trump shouting at him

NEW YORK (AP) — U.S. stocks are soaring on a euphoric Wall Street Wednesday after President Donald Trump said he would back off on most of his tariffs temporarily, as investors had so desperately hoped he would. The S&P 500 was up 8.3% with less than an hour remaining in trading, heading toward one of its best days in decades. It had been sinking earlier in the day amid worries about whether Trump’s trade war would drag the global economy into a recession. But then came the posting on social media that investors worldwide had been waiting and wishing for.

What a difference a couple of months of lies and betrayals make. Two days ago, the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, led by Alice Weidel, was in a statistical tie with Chancellor-Elect Friedrich Merz's Christian Democrats (CDU). AfD was, however, still iced out of any government participation, even as Merz lied and finagled his way in efforts to form a coalition government with anyone but them. The German public, watching Merz's negotiations go down, their votes for change cast aside in the frenzied deal making, and their few remaining freedoms cast to the wind, had an almost instantaneous case of buyers' remorse.

The Trump administration is considering launching drone strikes on drug cartels in Mexico as part of an ambitious effort to combat criminal gangs trafficking narcotics across the southern border, according to six current and former U.S. military, law enforcement and intelligence officials with knowledge of the matter. Discussions among White House, Defense Department and intelligence officials, which are still at an early stage, have included possible drone strikes against cartel figures and their logistical networks in Mexico with the cooperation of Mexico’s government, the sources said. Still, the administration has made no final decision

Billionaire Elon Musk, a top donor and adviser to President Donald Trump, is escalating his feud with Trump’s pro-tariff trade adviser Peter Navarro. Musk took to X, the social media platform he owns, to respond to Navarro’s commentary on Tesla’s supposed reliance on foreign components. “Navarro is truly a moron. What he says here is demonstrably false,” Musk wrote in a Tuesday morning post. “By any definition whatsoever, Tesla is the most vertically integrated auto manufacturer in America with the highest percentage of US content.

New York — After markets plunged over the course of the past three trading sessions, Wall Street investors were looking for any excuse to catch their breath ahead of another planned tariff escalation at midnight. They seem to have found one — at least for now. US stocks opened higher Tuesday, setting the stage for a rebound. The Dow rose 1,360 points, or 3.6%. The broader S&P 500 gained 3.4%. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite rose 3.76%. Over the course of the past few days, stock prices got absolutely hammered as Wall Street grew fearful that President Donald Trump’s tariff policy would plunge the US and global economies into a recession. The United States is speaking directly with Iran regarding its nuclear program, as President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are committed to preventing Iran from attaining a nuclear weapon. Trump detailed the “direct talks with Iran” while speaking with reporters alongside Netanyahu in the Oval Office, after the prime minister noted America and Israel remain “united in the goal that Iran does not ever get nuclear weapons.” “We’re having direct talks with Iran, and they’ve started… On Saturday we have a very big meeting, and we’ll see what can happen, and I think everybody agrees that doing a deal would be preferable to doing the obvious,” Trump said.

Peter Navarro, President Donald Trump’s top adviser on trade and manufacturing, has become the subject of Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) chief Elon Musk’s criticism as Musk denounces the administration’s latest tariffs. Navarro, who has a PhD in economics from Harvard University, is widely considered the “architect” of Trump’s reciprocal tariffs unveiled last week at the White House, according to Reuters. Despite also having a senior role in the Trump administration, Musk unleashed his opinions in a Saturday reply to an X clip of Navarro explaining that the president wants to charge other countries “what they charge us.”

WASHINGTON — The White House warned Monday that President Trump would veto a bipartisan bill that would mandate congressional approval of all tariffs should it arrive on his desk. Trump’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) said the measure introduced last week by Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) “would severely constrain the President’s ability to use authorities long recognized by Congress and upheld by the courts to respond to national emergencies and foreign threats.” The Trade Review Act also “eliminates leverage over foreign trading partners, inhibits reshoring and supply chain resilience, fosters market uncertainty, and introduces procedural micromanagement,” the OMB Statement of Administration Policy added.

As most of the media projected doom and gloom kvetching over their predicted negative aspects of President Donald Trump's tariffs, there was a rather contrarian view on this subject from a very surprising source: Nahal Toosi, Politico's senior foreign affairs correspondent. She conceded that the tariffs could ultimately turn out to be successful as she wrote on Saturday in "Why Trump May Get Away With His Tariff Trauma." Has Toosi been somehow red-pilled? Not likely since as recently as last December she attempted via her reporting to get the incoming Trump administration hopelessly entangled in the Syria mess.

After much speculation, NYC Mayor Eric Adams said he will not seek the Democratic nomination for New York City mayor in June and will run instead as an independent. Adams made the call on April 3 in a video announcement, one day after a federal judge threw out the case for corruption against him. The mayor also admitted on a separate podcast that the "Deep State" is real and is responsible for the prosecutorial attacks on him and President Donald Trump. Former president Joe Biden's Justice Department charged Adams in September 2024 with taking illegal bribes from the Turkish government, which included luxury flights and hotel stays in Turkey. BAGHDAD - Several powerful Iranian-backed militia groups in Iraq are prepared to disarm for the first time to avert the threat of an escalating conflict with the U.S. Trump administration, 10 senior commanders and Iraqi officials told Reuters. The move to defuse tensions follows repeated warnings issued privately by U.S. officials to the Iraqi government since Trump took power in January, according to the sources who include six local commanders of four major militias. The officials told Baghdad that unless it acted to disband the militias operating on its soil, America could target the groups with airstrikes, the people added.

The cuts made to the so-called “foreign aid” agency USAID (which doesn’t actually have humanitarianism as its primary purpose) in the first days of the Trump 2.0 administration affected various global vaccine initiatives, many of which were pet projects of self-styled philanthropist Bill Gates. In an attempt to ensure these projects remain federally funded, Gates has reportedly been quietly lobbying the administration behind the scenes to protect the billions that flow to his “non-profit” ventures. Putting aside the ultimate question of why Bill Gates isn’t under a federal prison, why do we allow creatures like this to slink around the White House trying to convince Trump,

Chinese producers of plastic Christmas trees and other festive decorations say orders from U.S. clients, which are crucial for their business, should have started to come in by now. But because of surging import tariffs, they haven't. U.S. President Donald Trump has raised tariffs on Chinese imports by 104% so far this year in an escalating trade war that threatens great pain for the world's largest exporter of manufactured goods. U.S. retailers are almost completely reliant on China for Christmas decorations, where they source 87% of such goods - worth roughly $4 billion. Chinese factories are also heavily dependent on the U.S. market, where they sell half of what they make.

To "staunch the bleeding" of Democrats beginning to publicly call for replacing Biden on the ticket, Whipple wrote about how the White House accepted an interview

Americans have seen a lot of Tim Walz lately as the failed vice-presidential candidate has held town halls nationally criticizing national Republicans. In a telling interview, he admitted to the New York Magazine this week, “90% of the time, I can be really good, but about 10% of the time, I can be a train wreck.” And in an interview with Jake Tapper that was itself something of a train wreck, he rejected the conclusion that every American with a pulse now acknowledges: that Walz and other Democrats should have forced Joe Biden off the presidential ticket in light of his obvious cognitive decline.

China is slapping 84 percent tariffs on U.S. goods from Thursday, ramping the impost up from the 34 percent as previously announced, its finance ministry said on Wednesday. Beijing’s hurried move is just the latest shot in an international trade war sparked by U.S. President Donald Trump as he works to level the playing field for global trade after China’s President Xi Jinping refused to withdraw retaliatory tariffs placed on America, as Breitbart News reported. Last week, Trump announced reciprocal tariffs on countries that have historically imposed high tariffs on the U.S., including China, which faced a 34 percent tariff in addition to existing tariffs on its goods.

President Trump wants to get America’s vast army of “dropout” men back into the workforce. Attention to this problem is long overdue. Nearly 7 million men in the prime of life — over a tenth of the 25-to-54 age group — are neither working nor looking for work these days. But Team Trump is trying to fix the problem with the wrong tools. They argue that trade policy (tariffs) and industrial policy (special treatment for manufacturing) will reverse the long-term flight from work by men, by creating high-paying jobs to lure them back to work. This approach may sound sensible to some. Unfortunately, it is likely to fail

The ill-advised decision nearly destroyed the Democratic Party when Biden's cognitive impairment became impossible to ignore.
