NBC’s Kristen Welker claimed “no one” is arguing for legal abortion up to birth in her new interview with former President Donald Trump, but that claim is demonstrably false.
The new “Meet the Press” moderator sparred with Trump for over an hour on abortion and other issues in an interview released Sunday.“The radical people on this are really the Democrats that say after five months, six months, seven months, eight months, nine months, and even after birth, you’re allowed to terminate the baby,” Trump told Welker during the interview.
“Mr. President, Democrats aren’t saying that,” Welker responded.

Back in July, the Department of Justice (DOJ) informed House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) that U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who has since been designated as special counsel by Attorney General Merrick Garland, would be made available to the Committee to answer questions on Hunter Biden's sweetheart plea deal. On Monday, Jordan sent a letter to Garland requesting that Weiss avail himself to the Committee on October 11, according to The Hill, which obtained the letter. That's not the only demand that Jordan has. The chairman is also asking for documents related to the investigation, which IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler have raised serious concerns with.

The Background:
Seth Rich, a DNC staffer, was murdered on July 10, 2016. The DC Metro Police attributed his death to a botched robbery. That’s tragic but straightforward. Why, then, is the FBI refusing to release the information from Rich’s laptop? Perhaps it’s because Rich is the key to understanding the Russian collusion narrative that the Democrats and Deep State used to such savage effect against Trump, up to and including the 2020 campaign, when operatives lied about Hunter Biden’s laptop. Anyone questioning the official narrative was immediately labeled a conspiracy theorist and canceled.

BURTON, OHIO — Abortion rights activists shocked themselves and the Ohio political world when they resoundingly defeated an August proposal that would have made it more difficult to enshrine abortion protections in the state’s constitution.
The next test comes on Nov. 7, when voters will decide whether to adopt a constitutional amendment to preserve access to abortion in a state that has veered increasingly to the right since 2016.
But despite their high-profile victory in August, abortion rights activists know it doesn't mean November will be a cakewalk — and Democrats still face hurdles when it comes to the 2024 political cycle.

“This year’s meeting will focus on what it takes to keep going — to maintain and advance progress, in spite of the difficulties that arise, and increase our capacity to cross the divides and make common cause with one another wherever possible to build a stronger future for all,” the Clintons said in a letter to the CGI community.

The summer before an election year is not always kind to first-term Democrats.
In August of 1995 Bob Dole led Bill Clinton. In the summer of 2011, the public's "grim views" of the economy, we said at the time, pushed Barack Obama's disapproval to its then-highest point.
That both presidents recovered and went on to reelection may give Democrats hope, because right now Joe Biden and the Democratic Party face major challenges of their own.
And those Democrats won't find any solace in this: today Mr. Biden is down one point, and inside the margin of error, in a match-up with Donald Trump, whom he beat by seven million

The Pentagon said in a statement that the move would allow units “to discuss aviation safety matters and best practices.”
The pause will give leaders time “to ensure the service is maintaining operational standardization of combat-ready aircraft with well-prepared pilots and crews.”
“During the safety stand down, aviation commanders will lead discussions with their Marines focusing on the fundamentals of safe flight operations, ground safety, maintenance and flight procedures, and maintaining combat readiness,” the statement said.

The nightmare started in July of 1980 at the GOP convention in Detroit. After negotiations with former President Gerald Ford for a coequal ticket failed, the party’s nominee, Ronald Reagan, turned to his vanquished competitor to unite the party. He chose George H.W. Bush as his running-mate; the rest is history.
Reagan was a principled conservative, an excellent communicator, and a generation leader. His two terms were highly successful, and he left office with high approval ratings and eight years of impressive accomplishments.
He was so popular that his bland and uninspiring Vice President was elected in 1988 as a third Reagan term. Yet, Bush was nothing like Ronald Reagan.

By August 31, the media had access to the video recorded in real time by the passenger in the vehicle. It is chilling. The driver and his companion, both males, had apparently stolen the Hyundai

I knew there was something wrong with Mitt Romney, really wrong, when my mom – a daughter of Pennsylvania’s steel mill country, but a dedicated Republican, told me back in 2012, “I just don’t like him.” Of course, those steel mills are all gone now, moved to China by guys who either were, or looked exactly like, Mitt Romney. Now he’s finally calling it quits as a senator, apparently by popular demand. His departure is cause for celebration. Mitt Romney is a bad person who pretends to be a good person. He is the blow-dried embodiment of everything awful about the Republican Party that used to be.

It’s hardly a surprise that the corporate media have rushed to the defense of President Biden pursuant to the impeachment inquiry announced last week by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. More surprising is the absurdity of the arguments they offer on his behalf. For years, his denials notwithstanding, Biden knew his son ran an international enterprise whose only real service was selling access to the Vice President of the United States to foreign entities who hoped to procure favorable policy decisions from the Obama administration. (Snip) Yet we are asked to believe that the “Big Guy” didn’t get a cut.

New “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker is facing calls for her cancellation before her debut has even aired for giving a national television forum to former President Donald J. Trump, an unforgivable offense to the rabidly authoritarian left-wing thought police.
Welker, who replaced Democratic Party shill Chuck Todd at the helm of NBC’s Sunday Morning flagship, sat down with the embattled 2024 GOP frontrunner for a wide-ranging interview, portions of which have already been posted to social media as teasers for the show, infuriating those who see free speech as an existential threat to their agenda of total societal control.

Ivanka Trump made a secret trip to Maui a few weeks ago to distribute meals and critical supplies to residents still recovering from the devastating wildfires.
The former first daughter joined CityServe International on a humanitarian mission where they distributed 250,000 prepackaged meals for displaced families impacted by the biggest wildfire in U.S. history.
They visited a Lahaina church that is acting as a food pantry and met with residents who are working to rebuild their lives.

Joe Biden's arrival in New York City caused traffic chaos Sunday night as he took his family for dinner at a swanky Italian restaurant frequented by celebs including Alec Baldwin.
The president's Air Force One touched down at JFK ahead of the UN General Assembly conference next week, where climate change, poverty and Russia's invasion of Ukraine will be top of the agenda.
But his first stop was Il Cantinori, where he enjoyed a meal with several relatives. They were believed to have been toasting his granddaughter Finnegan's 23rd birthday.

Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) has written to top Biden administration officials demanding the White House reveal if Sarah Ashton-Cirillo, a transgender individual claiming to be a spokesperson for the Ukrainian military, has ties to American intelligence services and if U.S. funds are currently subsidising Ashton-Cirillo’s apparent role in Ukraine after the personality went viral vowing that Russian “propagandists will be hunted down”.
In a letter, seen by Breitbart News, to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, and Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance has requested any information the U.S. government has on apparently American-born former freelance journalist Sarah Ashton-Cirillo —

The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) created the systems that permit intelligence weaponization. The SSCI is the organizational institution that supports the Fourth Branch of Government, the intelligence branch.[Snip]In this video segment below, notice how Chairman Warner leads off his remarks. Two flares triggered. First, you can tell by his response, that President Trump’s “classified documents” were exactly what we thought they were; evidence against those who constructed the Trump-Russia claims from inside govt. Second, notice how Warner now wants to block any President from controlling intelligence as defined by the Fourth Branch. This stuff is getting brutally obvious.
